   Great pizza (even recommended by an Italian descendant guest that I met at the restaurant) and great value. Staff were attentive and efficient. Recommended!

   The calzone was excellent. Server were nice but cold on their approach. Seem more worried about getting restaurant prepared early to close. It took a while to get their attention each time we needed them.

   We generally love DOC, and have dined at several of their restaurants. This was our first visit to the Southbank restaurant and we were disappointed. More than anything, the whole place felt flat. The staff were flat, disinterested, not particularly informative (when asking about cocktails and wines), with little interest in engaging. The pizza was good, the caprese salad was actually inexcusably lousy - a soft, floury, flavourless tomato with firm mozzarella and rocket drowned in balsamic. Just a really disappointing experience at 5.30pm to start our Friday evening on a beautiful 30 degree day in Melbourne.

   Beautiful place to spend our time, lovely food, always fresh and flavourful. All staff are friendly and welcoming.

   Pizzas were delicious. We had the Rustica (sausage and potatoes), Tiger Prawn and the Quattro Formaggi (4 cheeses). All 3 of us were very happy with what we ordered. We sat outside which tho it was a bit windy is totally recommended - fresh air is the best. Split bills at the end was greatly appreciated.

   We enjoyed a delicious buffalo mozzarella and mortadella appetizer then a Pizza DOC with mozzarella and flor di latte cheeses with basil. The pizza was amazing, fresh and cheesy.

   So glad we found this DOC tucked away behind the main drag at Southbank. Excellent cocktails, pizza, wine and salad. Staff were brilliant! Great place to go before a show in the arts precinct.

   We had a lovely dinner at DOC, food came out quickly and was delicious, and the service was good as well considering we visited on a busy Saturday night. Would definitely come back.

    Hostess and waitress very snippy and not accommodating until we asked for our bill without ordering food. Then decided to accommodate us just to get a the dinner bill. Very rude and rolled eyes and talked with other waitresses when we asked to move inside out of the cold. So many better restaurants on the water!! So not wait your time and money!
