   We have no complaints about the staff, all were friendly and helpful. However, as regulars, we're wondering what's happened to the food. As a cook of many years, I know a good lasagne when I've had one and the today's offering left a lot to be desired. A big bowl of mainly bolognese sauce with not much lasagne pasta and questionble bechamel sauce content does not make a GOOD lasagne. The last time we were there, we had a fabulous beef dish with vegetables, sooooo tasty and filling, and I was so DISAPPOINTED with my choice today. My friend thought her Pumpkin Ravioli okay and said I should have had that instead. Would love to see a ragu lasagne on the menu, and, some REAL Italian cool-weather food.

   Great Italian restaurant- simple menu of pizza and pasta, salads & desserts. Authentic flavours & nicest staff who speak Italian. Was a little expensive for what you get but overall we’d return and recommend DOC for the experience and food.

   Requested booking in the quieter deli area and DOC were responsive and seated us in there.

   Food was great, service was terrible The waitress was so rude, hated her job or just being simply racist but every time we asked for assistance she would just give us an unpleasant unwelcome face like what do you need now? Food came out but she didn’t even bother giving us any plates until we asked? the other table came the same time but had everything ready also she asked them and all the other tables how their meal was and never bothered with us Would not come back due to the service

   Amazing food as always. We’ve been coming for years and the quality is always excellent. Noisier than usual, especially for a Tuesday night which makes it hard for conversation on long tables. Service slower than usual too. But overall lovely convivial place for authentic Italian food.

   Docs Mornington was fantastic as usual. The food was delicious and the staff were happy, polite, attentive as always. We will always come back for more.

   Always AMAZING. We are regular booking every week at Mornington and the food and staff are always amazing. Highly recommend, best Italian pizza & pasta on the Peninsula.

   Always adding to the Doc chef suggestion board Add to that nonnas meatballs and a focaccia was perfect.. We love having the staff with great Italian accents and teaching us new words Keep up the great work 👍

   Great venue with wonderful staff. We loved the food and wine and they celebrate customers birthdays with music and a desert bought out with a candle.
