   Went there for our last night out on town! Couldn’t have a better ending! Wife and I celebrated my Birthday and said goodbye to Taos! The food was spot on and the drinks were awesome! Got the Bison Burger with margarita. Service was impeccable! Until next time Taos Inn… Thank you

    It's OK, not the menu of old. It's basically a typical NNM cuisine place with high prices. You could get a similar meal for 30-40% less at several other places in Taos.

    The Chili Rellanos were crisp and stuffed with delicious melted cheese Highly recommended. The Chicken Salad was huge with tasty chicken and sweet, delicious tomatoes. We will visit again.

    Not worth the price or the calories. Our server had her entire section sat within 5-10 minutes including a 10 top party. Our cornbread came out cold and it was beyond bland. Entrees lacked flavor and seasoning overall. $38 for Carne Asada that was just bland and boring, same with the tamales. We barely saw our overwhelmed server so couldn't even send anything back. She was friendly and tried to be on top of things but was overseated. The table next to us sent food back and never got replacements and just asked for a bill. So it seems like we weren't alone in our experience. Honestly our time and money would have been better spent at the burger stand down the road

    Nice setting, great service great food. Upscale for this town. A bit overpriced. The 2 of us ordered cheese platter which had a good amount of cheese, we had a to ask for more crackers. We also had the cornbread, which was tasty. Main course we split the steak fajitas- plenty of meat, well seasoned. Came with a pretty plate of pinto beans, rice, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. Quantity of all good. Would go back.

    Food and menu selection is wonderful. There are some really wonderful and creative choices on the menu. The mushroom dishes, relleno and sauces are first class. The facility has recently had some remodeling and is charming. Service is very pleasant but very slow. It seems they just do not have enough staff.

    When I made my reservation, the menu that was posted was not the correct one, so I had an unwelcome surprise: a prix fixe cost that was twice what I had planned on for the meal. It was Christmas, so I knew I would not be able to eat elsewhere. I figured I'd just splurge. However I also found the meal and the service to be disappointing. The duck was both redder and fattier than I would have liked. I was never asked if I was happy with the meal or if I needed anything. The meal was artistically plated on a slate, which would have been great if the sauce didn't get all over me and the table. In this case function would have been preferable to artistry. The setting can't be beat, but other aspects of the meal were less satisfying.

    Went for dinner. The pros: - good margaritas - live guitar music on a Thursday night - tamale platter was yummy - server was courteous and professional Cons: - lighting in the dining room was too bright - the burrito platter was not fully hot and the chicken inside lacked flavor

    Always look forward to Doc’s. Great New Mexican historic restaurant with great food. What more could you ask for? How about private parking and a block from the Taos plaza shopping!

    Food had no absolutely no taste. Very overpriced. Plate came out hot as if food was pre-prepared and not fresh. Margarita was good and service was also good. Not a place I will return to😡

    The waitress was great but the water glasses were dirty, the salads were beyond tired and we both got ill. The margaritas, salsa and guacamole were great. Overall, extremely over priced for an average experience.

    Great location near Taos Plaza. Good bar w music and dinner was excellent. Stayed at a local BB so we walked over. Outdoor seating a plus.

    We were disappointed with the food quality. I had the chili rellenos and my wife had the blue corn chicken enchiladas. It was like they were trying to make something eclectic and exotic out of simple dishes. Please go back to simple, to bring out the great New Mexican chili flavors!

    Everything was great. The drinks were excellent, the food plentiful and delicious. I especially appreciated the fresh vegetables not being overcooked. Our sever was excellent in every way. Highly recommend.

    Doc's is always a must visit for me. Lovely acoustic music, phenomenal service, spectacular food and drink. Quality has not suffered here as a result of the pandemic. I had the chili rellenos platter - lovely.

    My order was incorrect and the rest of our party had almost finished their meal before my correct order arrived. We asked for two checks and instead they split the bill down the middle, when they weren’t even close to equal amounts. I was very disappointed.
