The food and the service was excellent portions could be a little bit larger but we ordered soup and appetizer and that fills us up would recommend this highly
We were not as happy as we usually are. Had to ask for bread. The restroom had no soap and no paper towels. Waitress was not as attentive as we have had in the past.
if you love oysters in NEPA, Doc's is one of the best!
visited on New Year's eve.. service was really great.. the food is, I really don't know how to say this but, the food was kinda OK.. nothing bad, nothing great...
Great food. Great customer service
Great food and service!
My boyfriend and I chose Doc Magrogan's to start off our New Year's Eve celebration. Thankfully, we made reservations beforehand, arrived and were seated promptly. Our server also promptly greeted us and took our drink orders. This being our first dining experience at Doc Magrogan's, he also explained the menu to us, as well as their special New Year's Eve menu options. We started with the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was delicious, cheesy goodness. Very tasty but would have liked a little more lobster or bigger pieces of it. For our main course, we chose the special surf & turf option (14 oz Porterhouse and Lobster tail with sides of Horseradish mashed potatoes and green beans) and Pan-seared Scallops with butternut risotto and cranberry relish. The lobster tail and scallops were prepared to perfection, as was the steak. All in all a VERY delicious meal with prompt and perfectly-timed, friendly service. We will definitely return next time we're in town again.
Very pleased with our service and accommodating staff as we arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately.
The only issue we had was the small font on the menu because the restaurant was so dim lit. Dim lighting sets the mood but when the font is so small it's rough visually.
The mussel appetizers although plenty were extremely tiny. The seafood Cobb salad was good and fish and chips as well. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My complaint would be that we were seated at a very small booth and the restaurant wasn't crowded.
