This was my second time here after having lunch during the week when I was meeting with a client. I decided to come back on a Sat night with my husband and our puppy for a full experience since the reviews talked about how dog friendly this place is. It was kinda blah! The hostess was good and got us our table about 15 mins earlier than we booked, however, the rest of the experience was nothing special. The drinks were atrocious (I would be shocked if there was any alcohol in them), the shrimp ceviche was mainly just cucumbers, and the waitress didn’t seem to wanna be bothered. Our dog was never given a water bowl as some reviews mentioned and the food was I would say average since I’ve had worse at places that have the same amazing view. Maybe I will give it another shot earlier in the day but I am not rushing to make it our go to place. P.S. their peel & eat shrimp was good both times I had it. The view and location are unmatched.

Went at 1:00 for lunch. Water view is nice. Restaurant needs to be updated with new chairs. Floors, tables and walls need to be scrubbed. Service was slow but employees are nice. Food is average.

Doc Fords is a staple on the St Pete pier. The food is pretty good. One thing to keep in mind is the service. It can be a bit slow depending on how busy it is.

We started with the mussels and buffalo shrimp. Both fresh and full of flavor. My husband had the lobster roll and I had the grilled fish tacos. We enjoyed every bite and the house sauces where all great too! Beautiful views and great service!
