   I made a reservation because I was really looking forward to coming. I brought two girlfriends and we sat outside on the deck. The view was great and we enjoyed our drinks. The food was amazing. The Yucatan Shrimp is divine! We'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great outing!

   Everything about Doc Ford’s was amazing, beginning with the service, the ambience, and the delectable food, they are the complete package! We started with the crabcakes and it’s rare these days to get a crabcake that is more crab than breading, but these are just that and served with a cold pasta salad between them on the plate that was uniquely delicious. I had the lobster roll, which was piled so high with lobster chunks that I had to eat a bunch with a fork before it was the right size to bite into. That’s a problem I love to have. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich with black beans and yellow rice that he thoroughly enjoyed. You won’t leave hungry from here as the portion sizes are definitely generous.  We couldn’t pass up reading the dessert menu and selected the double decker brownie which was two homemade Ghirardelli chocolate brownies with nuts served warm with ice cream and a chocolate rum sauce that was heavenly. The two of us couldn’t finish it! Our server was Abigail and she really loves her job and it shows in the service we were given, even the runners that bring the food to your table are polite and attentive. We were so happy with everything we asked Abby to send over the manager. Dustin came to our table and he was a delight to speak with and very happy, although not surprised that we received such excellent service as it is evident that is their culture here. P. S. The cocktails will not disappoint either! Looking forward to our next visit!

   We had heard so many great things about Docs. So we booked reservations for New Year’s Eve. Really didn’t need to . I got the lobster sandwich, small and expensive. The black beans and rice were basically gross and inedible. Husbands Panko crusted grouper was soggy, small and chain restaurant quality fish. No refills on drinks, service was friendly when we could find her. We will not be back

   Still working out the kinks of newly opening, which is to be expected, but deveining the shrimp is essential. Also made a reservation for 6 people, they tried to get us to squeeze into a small booth with 3 large men, we refused. So they put us at a tiny table, we made it work. The fish was great. The un-deveined shrimp was disgusting.

   Very busy, very full, very loud. Cold and windy outside so outdoor seating not utilized. Extremely hard to have conversation with our party of 4. Even though full, we were seated on time. Service initially slow but food came out timely and was good.

    We've been twice this week and sat outside both times. It's obvious this is not their first rodeo; for a restaurant that just opened, the staff was well trained, the wait was very short, and the service was quick. In general, the food was prepared well, but my red fish (red fish bowl) on the first night was on the dry side (a friend ordered it, as well, and had the same issue) and my shrimp tacos a bit overcooked on the second night. Still both tasty (the plantains in the red fish bowl made up for the fish), but they could have been better. The shrimp was more of a disappointment, as I've had that dish many times at the pier and I never had this issue. Still, it was their second and fourth nights open, so we need to give them a bit of slack and we will definitely be back.

    Great food, drinks and atmosphere! Had the raw oysters, which were perfect size and salinity. Also the Yucatán shrimp were large and the sauce is perfectly spiced. Sautéed Grouper perfectly cooked with great accompaniments. Best of all was a true dedicated Gluten Free menu!!

    Great atmosphere! Food was very good (Yucatán shrimp and snapper) did a great job with the building . covered outdoor seating . Only negative is sitting on lower level with music was way to loud . They moved us out to upper deck . Will definitely be back.

    Drinks came very late in the meal. Cocktail was missing the floater and I had to send it back. Appetizers took a long time to arrive and the entrees were delivered while we were still eating first course (the cocktails arrived around this same time). My corrected drink finally arrived when I was almost done with my entree. Ambience was great, staff was friendly, food was delicious. Macadamia crusted grouper and carrot cake were especially good (although the carrot cake was served with what seemed to be cool whip- this choice could be reconsidered). The parking was a disaster- we almost cancelled our reservation due to the lot being full and the staff not giving viable options for overflow parking when we called to ask. Lots of potential! Need to correct the parking issue, timing of sending in orders to the kitchen/meal pacing and ensuring drinks are made correctly before being brought to table.

    Great service. Jaclyn, our server, was beyond nice 😊 Food was good not great. The seafood paella was delicious but not too generous of a portion. I’ll definitely visit on a regular basis!!!
