We had dinner on a Monday night during COVID, so the restaurant was quiet. However, our waitress Mack did an outstanding job and we really enjoyed our meals and our bourbon cocktails!
Went on a date with my wife excited to go to the restaurant and after we got there we found out that they had a limited menu so what we really wanted they didn’t have. Also they seem very understaffed and we felt rushed by our server.
Had very good food and good service. For some reason; it took forever to get our check, but not a big deal. Worth another try.
Great location for any occasion. Food is good and nice atmosphere.

Not the same Doc Crows that I used to frequent before the management changed. The atmosphere is much more casual and the staff isn’t very friendly. The food was still good!! It’s somewhere I’d still go for lunch, but not really worth our Friday night reservation.

Service was outstanding and food came out at the speed of light. The brisket and pulled pork were good but not great. The smoked chicken was amazingly tender and moist.
Oysters and brisket were amazing! We had reservations and were immediately seated, even when arriving early. Our waiter Derek was so helpful and great. We had a great experience and will be back!
I guess on account of Covid the menu has been greatly compressed. Our service was amazing young lady done a heckuva job but the food was definitely not worth what we paid. Oysters was good ribs was good the sampler plate is not as good of a deal as it seems.We will probably be back but not very soon
Good food and reasonably priced. The service was good but a bit slow at times. However there only appeared to be two servers in the whole restaurants. We will go back for sure.
Chips & dip were very good & spicy. Wings were tender & juicy. Service excellent & great happy hour 3-7 specials on food & drink.
The chicken was phenomenal and the cookies for dessert are unreal!!! Great, quick, friendly service.

Tables were spaced out so we felt safe eating there. Service and food were great as always.
Our waitress was a sweetheart and killed the service game. She was polite, quick and had a positive attitude. As far as the restaurant it’s sort of built like a shot gun house. The vibe is good, the food is good and the drinks are great! I for sure will be coming back ☺️

Thanks For such a wonderful meal and service, our server was also the bartender — I think he told me his name was Anthony. He was wonderful, entertaining, paid extra attention to detail, mixed my best margarita yet, from any local bar. So for those of you who might be coming with your husband and you are not a whiskey drinker or a bourbon drinker, he can make a mean margarita or substitute any liquor of your choice and his cocktails.
I particularly recommend the pulled pork sandwich or entrée, the sweet potato fries are excellent, and so is their pimento beer cheese and Doc Crows homemade potato chips appetizer!!
I’m sad they have deleted so much from their menu. I miss the homemade spicy bbq sauce.
I’ll try it again after COVID and hope they get back to amazing. For now, just goid

The quality of food at Doc Crow’s has gone waaaaay downhill. We heard they have been under new ownership, but my husband and I definitely did not expect such a decline in the quality of food and service. We would have stayed for more drinks after dinner, but the service was subpar and the food not nearly as good as we are used to, so we did not want to give them any more of our money. Went next door to O’Sheas for another round of cocktails and honestly regret not going there for the whole dinner experience.
Sadly we will probably not return to what was once a great restaurant, and unfortunately do not see them being open much longer.
Great food, very professional and clean restaurant
Open Table and Doc Crows accepted a reservation for New Years Eve. Imagine our disappointment when we showed up for our NYE dinner only to find the restaurant closed. What a terrible start to a New Years Eve. Save your time and money and do not use Open Table or go to Doc Crow's. Go across the street to Merle's Whiskey Kitchen!

TOOK OUR RESERVATION INFO.WHEN WE ARRIVED FOR NEW YEARS EVE DINNER THE FACILITY WAS CLOSED ...DID NOT EVEN HAVE A SIGN ON THE DOOR....NOTHING
BY THIS TIME, WE WERE TO LATE TO GET A TABLE ANYWHERE ELSE AND TO TOP IT OFF, IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY AS WELL.....

Doc Crows is currently closed due to all of Louisville’s mandates on restaurants. We did not find this out until we arrived for our reservations on New Years Eve. Open Table needs to remove them for now until they open back up because we were left with nowhere to eat on New Years because Open Table is still taking reservations for them. Uncool.

Great dinner and drinks
The drinks were great but the food was amazing! My husband said “‘This is the best brisket I think I’ve ever had.” Service was perfect. It really surpassed our expectations and the bourbon selection was huge.
The food was amazing! It took an awkward amount of time for someone to come to the front to greet/seat us, but once we were sat and ordered, we had a lovely dinner experience!
Excellent place to eat and drink. Would highly recommend anytime you are in Louisville, KY!
The four of us each had the smokehouse sampler & it was good - about $25 each. No complaints about the food. I know it’s the Covid panic but the hostesses were short with anyone they didn’t think to have their mask pulled high enough up. Also took our temperature. The waiter lacked friendliness & didn’t converse but did his job.
Good BBQ; We got the Fried Okra and the portion was huge and good.
