Average, menu was really small. Service was really slow for both food and drinks. I’ve been multiple times and usually love this place.

Our food was delicious and our server was working himself to death but he just had too many tables to take care of. It took a long time to get anything we requested like extra sauce or napkins.
We had reservations for Derby weekend. When we arrived the host staff seemed very unorganized and we waited for quite awhile to be greeted and seated. Overall the food was good but the staff didn’t seem friendly
BBQ sampler was just ok. The ribs were the best thing. Brisket was not good. Waitress was not professional. Did not know much about the menu.
It wouldn’t be a visit to Louisville without going to Doc Crows

My husband had really fresh oysters, yes, in Kentucky! My mint julip was all crushed ice in a big cup but when I mentioned this to the waitress she brought me another drink. The lean brisket was awesome- so tender. A generous serving of Derby pie for dessert didn’t disappoint
Food was good but it could have been warmer. Kind of Luke warm. The server seemed to have an attitude and wasn’t very attentive.
Stay away from this place. It’s a tourist trap. We were sat at a dirty table. The service was slow. Many other customers didn’t look happy. Just an overall bad experience. We ended up leaving after a chips appetizer. Also, many of their bourbons on their list are actually in stock and it’s out of date.
Order was delivered to table incorrectly. When we asked for corrections, we only got one of the 3, about 15 minutes later. Then another 10 minutes or so, one of the other items, and never the 3rd. The bill was calculated with incorrect items added from other tables and had to be sent back for revisions twice. We were very disappointed as we have had nothing but good experiences here in the past. We will not be going back to Doc Crows, again.
I never write reviews because I feel rude, but, wow. Do not go here if you want any type of higher class experience. Food was medium, drinks were small and overpriced and the servers were not with the program. Sad. It has so much potential.
I was extremely underwhelmed by this place ... despite the reviews and hype I read ahead of time . The food was very average. Despite our reservation We were sat in a back hallway which was dark and looking into an unused kitchen and storage area. I would not recommend this spot at all
The food was amazing. Definitely recommend the pimento beer cheese. The chips are delicious!
We had a large crew of 12 and they accommodated us pretty good. Service was a little slow and some food didn’t come out, but over all, was a great place. Will definitely go back.
Great place to eat. Service was excellent and restaurant was beautiful place to eat. Food was ok as far as the pulled pork and brisket. The Fried hot chicken and bourbon honey was where it was at and was amazing.
The food was very good , some of it was hot but some was lukewarm, like the fries . Service was good , the staff friendly & helpful. The area we sat in was dark . The chairs were terrible !!!

Not the same place it used to be now that they have limited seating. The place seemed empty even though they were at their capacity. Even with plenty of room, my group of five were seated at a table for four. So with all the space around us we felt kind of cramped.
Also a very limited menu, so it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for.

Not enough workers. Kind of rude when you walk in. No more shrimp and grits ( stupid to take off menu) so I ordered the peel and eat shrimp, but no tartar sauce and no one could even make some. It takes 4 ingredient so any chef could fix it. Also it is as hot, temp on thermostat was 78. Not a good experience and won’t be back. I used to love this place.

The oysters were not fresh and the beef brisket was tender but it was tasteless. On a good note, our server was nice. I can think of many other places to go before I would come back here.

My husband and I ate dinner our last night in Louisville. We shared the Smoked Sampler of ribs, pulled pork and brisket with cole slaw. Fabulous! Brought home the Derby Pie to eat later. Our waiter was attentive. It was a pleasant evening!
Was disappointed to be seating by the serving window when it appeared other socially distanced tables or booths were available (we had a reservation). The food was underwhelming to say the least, and considering that overpriced. Very disappointed in this visit, as I have been there in the past and the service, food and drink were very good. Nothing special here.
It’s our favorite place to go. Always get the heapin chips is my recommendation!

Awesome food and our server was great. Only issue was he was also the bartender and they had their other bar person call off that day. I wish they would have told us rather than us just sit and wait for service. Luckily we figured it out and didn’t blame our server. He was making drinks for the whole restaurant plus had tables of his own. He was awesome!! Music was awful but overall a good time.
Excellent BBQ, and the Derby pie (came with 2 pieces!) was the best I've ever had! Chocolate chip cookies were huge, warm, crispy, and soft, all at the same time! We will definitely be back!!

We had dinner on a Monday night during COVID, so the restaurant was quiet. However, our waitress Mack did an outstanding job and we really enjoyed our meals and our bourbon cocktails!
Went on a date with my wife excited to go to the restaurant and after we got there we found out that they had a limited menu so what we really wanted they didn’t have. Also they seem very understaffed and we felt rushed by our server.
Had very good food and good service. For some reason; it took forever to get our check, but not a big deal. Worth another try.
