The service was very good. Very accommodating hostess and our server was excellent. Nice atmosphere. The food, however, was not good. The short rib was mostly fat. The brisket was rubbery and ribs tasteless. The pulled pork was pretty good though. I will not come back next time I am in the area.

Well the Reservations was made with one person for both tables. Common sense would have combine the tables together, instead of the tables in different locations. Female Waitress I was told SHE did not do a good job. Male Waiter^^^^ All Good.

The menu looked good and the location was close so we walked over with high hopes. The staff was so friendly when we arrived and sat us promptly, and the building/vibe was fun. But, unfortunately, most everything was on the dry side: brisket, cornbread, hush puppies. Only the fish tacos got good reviews from our party of 8. Also, the server just rarely checked on us. The food came out fairly quickly but we had to keep tracking him down for more drinks and/or anything else we needed. It was just “okay”. Wouldn’t go back.

After a nice bourbon tasting at Old Forester, we had a lovely dinner at Doc Crow’s. I had the chili and oysters Rockefeller. Both were delicious. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive to our needs. Definitely would visit again.

Service was top notch. Chips and beer cheese appetizer was a perfect starter. Crab cakes with broccoli was delicious and just the right amount of food. Pork chops with mashed potatoes were some of the best. A huge bourbon selection that will satisfy any desire. I highly recommend this wonderful dining experience.

It was a Saturday night and very busy. It was our anniversary and we had my husband's 82-year-old father and his girlfriend. We were seated quickly at the first table when you enter. we appreciated being seated so quickly but the table was a high top and difficult for my father in law to get in the booth. It also was near the front door and cold. The menu had a little something for everyone. Our waitress was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and we tried several items. Tomato bisque soup & grilled cheese, oyster & shrimp poboy, catfish poboy, salad with grilled chicken and bread pudding. Good cocktails and good service. We would definitely recommend.

We went to dinner before the Blake Shelton concert. They had our reservation and we were seated right away. Service was great, food was pretty good, and margaritas were awesome but the Old Fashioned's sucked. $145 for 2 people, one entree, one lunch portion, one app and 4 cocktails seemed pretty pricey, but all in all, Doc Crowe's is a good location and you get quick service.

We had a reservation prior to a concert. We got seated at our reservation time. Our waiter was prompt and attentive and very informative. We enjoyed the oysters rockefeller and the onion rings for appetizer. Several in our party chose the shrimp poboy with fries. We also ordered the shrimp tacos and the pork chop dinner. Everything was delicious. This is a great place to eat and drink before a downtown event, a work outing, or a date night.

I was expecting 'wow' on the smoked meats but found it was just a bit above average from other places I frequent. All in all, worth the visit and enjoyed the experience. m Shared the meat sampler (plenty for two) and my favorite of the night was the shrimp and cocktail sauce appetizer. While I'm not a Bourban fan, their selection of Bourbon's was incredible and I'd suggest anyone looking for options visit.

Honestly, pretty disappointing. Brisket was dry and couldn’t really even tell that it was smoked. Ribs were incredibly small for the price. And the drink prices were outlandish. The Pimento cheese dip was probably the highlight of my meal. My old fashioned was served in a small glass with numerous ice cubes, watering it down substantially. The whiskey side of the bar/restaurant is worth a look around, truly incredible collection of offerings. But be warned, this is a tourist trap.

Host insisted we made our reservation for 2 when I presented the Open Table receipt that showed it was made for 5. They made us wait for over a half hour for the larger table. After we paid and left, the restaurant turned us in to Open Table as a no show. We were entertaining out of town guests on a schedule, and will not return.

Upon arrival we were seated very polite and courteous waiter food was good Desert was the downfall I ordered the bread pudding which was only cooked on top the rest of the cup was like soup Wife ordered Wilbur sundae which was supposed to have rinds with cinnamon which was not there so kinda disappointing event for the return to downtown area in a couple years. I'm from out of town and went here on a date night based on a recommendation and I'm so thrilled we did! Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, but not smothering. Atmosphere was cozy and special, and anything but one of your typical chains; I knew we were in Louisville!
