   This was overrated and overpriced. Went out for a nice dinner but would not be back. The best thing was the drinks.

   The service was wonderful. Our server Brooks was attentive and took great care of us. Gary, whom I believe was a manager, was also wonderful and made sure we were happy and taken care of. He was even kind enough to take a group photo for us so we could all remember the afternoon. The food was delicious and on par with the price point. We will certainly be back in the future.

   Easy and quick check in with the hostess. Comfortable seating and great ambience in the restaurant. Server was very helpful and attentive without hovering, and the food was fantastic. I had the chicken kabob which was cooked to perfection. I had a friend here on business from out of state and she enjoyed her food as well. I enjoyed it.

   I really enjoy the menu options, service and quality of food at Doc Bs. I’ve gone a few times solo and with friends. Sitting solo at the bar enjoy a cocktail and great food is a great opportunity. The bartenders are skilled and friendly. Sports on the TVs are an easy distraction if you aren’t able to struck up a conversation with another at the bar. With friends it’s a lot of fun. More food to share! The noise and music is pretty loud but adds the ambience and energy. Just don’t plan on deep conversations in a low voice. In my visits I have enjoyed the Sticky BBQ ribs, Brussels Sprout Salad, hamburgers, fries, knife and fork salad w crispy (fried) chicken (breast), Chinese chicken salad, the #1 tuna salad and key lime pie. Nothing disappointed. The flavors are true and strong. They’ve made salad dressing for each salad but you can switch them up. Everything comes at the right temp made to order. Servers pace meals and always check that everything is ok. They have two locations in Chicago, River North near Nordstrom and Walton off North Michigan. Make reservations so you’re not disappointed. I’d say prices are not low so maybe not your cheap eats but the food quality and service are absolutely worth it. Sorry once again with friends and no pics. It looked and tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

   upon walking in i noticed that the aesthetic of the restaurant was everything i needed for the evening. it’s nicely lit, calm upscale venue with GREAT food, GREAT service and a GREAT atmosphere. I loved talking to my servers, and the bartender KIMBERLY FRANCO was absolutely amazing, super engaging and just so pleasant to interact with. Kimberly was a literal GEM! 10/10 i’ll be back just for her and the food!

    I’ve been to this place every week for the past few weeks as I travel for work. Service at the bar is very hit or miss. They are usually understaffed. This time the server forgot to ring my food in. It was weird all my other colleagues got there food, just not me. And it took quite a while to get someone to realize my food wasn’t rang jn.

    Stopped in for a late dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our server Jordan was attentive as well as offering some nice conversation. The guacamole with sweet potato chips was the perfect stater. We had the wok bowls, one with ahi tuna and sticky rice and one with noodles, peanut sauce and tofu. Both were very good. Sorbet sandwich cookies for desert. All in all would highly recommend this spot.

    Overall experience was good. We had a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes for our table. Nothing out of the norm for a Chicago bill.... but we're from Michigan, so I always have a bit of sticker shock when I dine-out in Chicago! :)

    Everything was so fresh and healthy. Loved bowl with salmon. And best cole slaw I have had. Killer key lime pie. Simple quiet place. Coming back!

    First off the food was amazing. BBQ ribs, full rack, melt in the mouth and fell of the bone. Nice sauce, not overpowering so the pork flavours came through. Had a slice of the cinnamon cheesecake, reluctantly had to leave a bit as too big a slice, and that is coming from someone who never leaves food! Nice IPA beer and glass of Malbec. One negative, ok it was marathon night but that shouldn’t have been a surprise. The staff seemed rushed of their feet and I had to remind the front of house I was waiting for an order. Easily sorted, staff was courteous and friendly. Great meal after a long run.

    The candied bacon and chicken satay is what will have me coming back… the chicken bites were horrible and the steak was mediocre. The staff was the best I have seen in any Chicago restaurant on a Saturday night, super nice, energetic, and on point with orders.

    I was surprised and delighted by the freshness and quality of the food. Servings were huge and I don’t think anyone at our table finished everything in front of them. But if you’re a fan of fresh delicious healthy bites, you won’t be disappointed. I’m going back

    The food was good but there were a few odd things. I asked for a bowl with light sauce (coconut curry) but it came with none. I ordered coffee with dessert and it took forever (“we’re brewing a fresh pot” but when it finally came it was not even warm. I asked our server to zap it for a few seconds and it took fully 10 minutes to get it. We were finished by then and wanted to cancel but she appeared with it and we felt obligated to drink it. Our server was thorough and kind, but something was a little off in the kitchen.

    Excellent large burgers served with choices of fries or slaws. 4/5 overall, could be 5/5 if sweet potato fries were served hotter or crispier. Large portions. Reasonably fast service. Music was a little loud. Booths between kitchen and restrooms were not ideal due to foot traffic and two large parties of 10 seated next to our party of 2 .
