Our server was outstanding. She was patient, warm and knowledgeable. We stumbled upon this gem because it was near our hotel (Knickerbocker) I am SO glad we tried it out. We will def be back.

Doc B's fine as a take away albeit its so overpriced. As to dine-in a waste of time. No atmosphere its like a 'glorified' fast food. As stated so overpriced for the amount one gets. When the Gold Coast one opened first it was much more inviting always a little pricey, but out of control now.

Doc B’s had some decent food for adults, not much to offer for younger diners and was out to f both desserts our group was interested in. Limited alcohol (beer) selection, I think there were about 4 or 5 to choose from. Also our meals were brought with pieces incorrect from our order.

Loved it! Great matzah ball soup, amazing guacamole with sweet potato chips and delicious cheese burgers.

This was both of our first time at Doc B's & definitely not our last. This place lives up to its name. EVERYTHING we ate was prepared fresh & with attention to detail. The staff was exceptional & knowledgeable. The decor is sleek and modern. Not a large space but it's just right.

We like the restaurant a lot. The service is excellent. The matzo ball soup is great. We can’t rate the food higher for two reasons. First, the burger is very average. Second, the burger is too small for its price.

If a consumer has the confidence to go out during a pandemic and the bravado to endure the frigid cold temperatures In a January with high blowing wind to walk to Doc B,s you know said consumer is vested in overcoming the mundane and looking for a terrific meal. Warm welcome, comfortable booth, cozy atmosphere all great starts but then enter Our server Royce with his dazzling smile and 100% genuine regard for hospitality. Royce was well versed (not in a rehearsed way, but rather in a “I got this I want you to have a great experience and the culinary team has my back and your back in this visit” Royce’s Suggestions on food items, intelligence on pairings, and His hospitality wholeheartedly served us. Price point perfect, food delicious, service amazing. Made the frigid cold a distant memory well until it was time to leave again. All worth it thanks a million we loved it!

Our waiter, Royce, was one of the best in the biz. The hostess was helpful when we arrived. They were kind to offer gluten free options. The food was all very tasty. Had a wonderful evening out.

Considering the lockdown and the resulting mandatory outdoor dining on a cold and windy Chicago night, the food and service were terrific. Doc B's is always a great venue, and they're doing their best until things open up. The food was hot and tasty, and the server, Royce, was personable and took great care of us.
