DK Steak House
Great location, great pleasant staff and of course, priced according to the overall quality
Absolutely excellent!!!! And darn if we can’t remember our waiter, he was so friendly and helpful picking wine and was just s joy!! He was from Boston if that helps!!
Beautiful service and the steak was sensational! We are back in NZ and still remembering our lovely dining experience, thank you
We love DK. We often stay in the Marriott and DK is a great choice. Staff is friendly and the food is great.
perfect vine with steak.
The vine which recommended by server was extreamly goooooood!
Friends and I went to DK Steak on Mother's Day 2019. We were very excited to go as another friend has really hyped up the dry-aged steak. Unfortunately, our waiter (Ting-Wei C.) was really condescending and made the dinner a poor experience. He even tried to tell me that the darkness of my steak, which I ordered medium rare and was only slightly pink at its center, was due to the aged quality of the steak. I am unsure if I will return to DK in the future.
Place is amazing. Really enjoyed the meal and service was terrific!
Food was cooked to perfection! My compliments to the chef.
Just needed to unwind on A Friday
The food and the service were fantastic! We will return next time we are in town.
This is not the typical tourist resturant in Honolulu. It's steaks are great. Appetizers, salads, side dishes and desserts are excellent. The wine list is extensive with knowledgeable waiters to help with the pairings. The whole experience of excellent food served in superior surroundings by friendly waiters was so good we ate at DK Steak House three out of the seven nights we were in Honolulu. Great resturant!
Excellent food, service and drinks. Spendier than some, but you are paying for the quality and ambiance. Steak was perfect, lobster delightful, supreme Mai Tai's and the escargot rocked too. In my opinion, one of the best restaurants for steak and seafood on the island!
We had some unbelivebel food. So Good. I har the 30 dag ribbaey oh so good. The surf and tuff ess just as good.
Perfect service on happy hour
Please please enjoy Mauii IPA draft beer with delicious foods
That was my favorite
Food and service was excellent as usual. I recommend if dining there one must have the 30 day dry aged ribeye with the paniolo rub.
We were disappointed with the cost of a glass of wine. Being Canadian and after doing the exchange , it is a rude awakening paying $36.00. for two glasses. In addition ,it is very odd to drink red wine that seemed refrigerated!!!
Dry aged steaks are amazing + for a great price. Wine list always has fun things to try & service is always friendly and on top of it!
We came in to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first visit. We were a little late due to traffic but called the restaurant and they were very nice and held our reservation. We were seated immediately after we arrived. We ordered the smoked bacon appetizer which was very good but a little pricey for one piece of bacon. My husband ordered the porterhouse, which came out perfect, I ordered the 15 day aged steak which I ordered medium rare. When my steak arrived it was medium well bordering well done. The server took it back and returned it rare at which point I gave up and declined him taking it back to correct although he did offer. The house salad only comes with the house dressing option which was a vinaigrette. It was a bit sweet for our taste. For sides we shared the mushrooms, mixed vegetables, and potatoes Au gratin. The potatoes were probably my favorite part of the meal. Over all the food was not bad but it was not great either. For the price, almost $250 for 2 people including the discount for my steak, I expected to be wowed. All the food was extremely under seasoned. Our meal start to finish took about 2 hours, most of which was waiting for the next thing to come out. Based on the reviews I just expected a lot more.
One of the best steaks I have ever had. NY strip
Top shelf service.
Steaks were cooked to perfection and so tender. Our waiter Josh was very helpful in helping us with the menu. Desserts were also amazing! Would definitely return if we go back to Waikiki.
Great service and ambiance. We will definitely come back everytime we visit Oahu.
Service was good.
Food overpriced and lacked flavour.
Would not recommend.
We had Josh as our waiter. He was great, attentive, and made great suggestions. The ribeye is excellent!
The food was delicious!! We haven’t had steaks that good in a long time.
Food was fabulous. We had a wonderful evening. Walkable distance from our motel which was great.
Overall I’d give DK 5 stars! When matched against Ruth Chris and Morton’s it definitely gets the edge considering they offer dry aged steaks (personal favorite) while at a very reasonable price point. The only other place I’ve seen so far that offers dry aged is Strip Steak in Waikiki and their prices are ridiculous, no thanks! I was a little nervous given it was a hotel restaurant but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food from the appetizer to the steaks/sides and after dinner cocktails everything was incredibly delicious! As with most steakhouses on the island and mostly in general the room is dimly lit and dark which isn’t necessarily my vibe but don’t really mind either. If I had one complaint it would that be our server recommended that I upgrade the mashed potatoes I ordered to the lobster potatoes without mentioning that it was a $21 up charge. Even though that was slightly irritating they were delicious and stuffed with lobster so I didn’t feel ripped off just wish it was mentioned beforehand because I would have rather had a lobster tail for nearly the same price and regular mashed potatoes but oh well not a big deal. Will definitely be back and would say this is probably my new favorite steak spot so far with Morton’s being #2.
50th wedding anniversary. Provided us with a special surprise dessert .
Great experience as always
Very nice waiter Brad. He helped to make the night enjoyable!
