I really loved the dj great room! I had the challah French and it was delightfully delicious. The service was pleasantly great, and would absolutely come back.

We were really looking forward to another Morton family restaurant in the neighborhood. Unfortunately every bite was a mouthful of salt. Four of us agreed.Hopefully just a bad day !

My wife and I visited DJ’s Great Room with a neighbor couple, drawn in by its sleek and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was undeniably cool, creating a great setting for a night out. While the menu offered a solid selection, we found that every dish was noticeably salty, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, service was slow to clear dishes, leaving the table cluttered longer than expected. Despite these issues, the restaurant’s stylish design and welcoming vibe made for an enjoyable evening. With a few refinements in execution, DJ’s Great Room has the potential to be an even better dining destination.

Great looking space in a location where a restaurant is needed but the food is below average. Salads were underdressed which is so unusual, just tasteless. Turkey club was like something you bought at ORD and chicken sandwich was fine but had so much potential. At $18 the sandwich is well priced but an extra $9 for fries is a joke. The fries are not sized to share, they should charge $20 for a sandwich and include the measly order of fries. Brussels sprouts need a rework, nobody wants to eat mushy Brussel sprouts, need to be crispy! The chocolate cake was the best part of the meal. My daughter lives next door and was hoping this would be our go to but our search continues.

We were excited to try the restaurant since we keep trying to find our neighborhood spot. Food was great, they even split our salad and main course that we opted to share. A nice touch that was unexpected. Prices were beyond fair (a hard thing to find these days), staff were great, and loved the different areas of the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back. Hope they leave some tables open for walk ins in addition to bar seating.
