Vegetable Curry In Cashew Sauce
Taro root, carrots, green beans, cauliflower, zucchini, curried red lentils & beets, cilantro-mint chutney, basmati rice
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. It was wonderful to take my vegetarian daughter out for dinner and for her to be able to select ANYTHING from the menu. And this omnivore found everything to be flavorful and filling! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Best vegetarian/ vegan food in NYC!
I thoroughly enjoyed my Divya’s experience from the reception at the door , to the ginger cookies in my pastry basket. The food was phenomenal and the “cherry on top,” was Divya’s introducing herself to my guest and I. We left the establishment with our chakras aligned and smiles on our faces - vowing to make Divya’s Kitchen our “default” eatery.
Perfect 1st date place
This is my new favorite place, very cute and there was a good energy! The food was delicious and visually beautiful with lots of colors on the plate. I had Asian Stair fly which comes with black rice and quinoa, it was tasty. my friend had vegan curry which was really good and it was a good volume. The waitress are kind and friendly and the volume of the music was perfect for the conversation. This place is related to Yoga & temple so no alcohol but definitely going back!
Love this place - it's a gem. The food is delicious and fresh and flavorful and the ambience is just lovely. Our server Flavia was the sweetest and most enthusiastic. Divya's is a place with heart.
perfection in every way-- food, staff, ambiance, value.
Delicious and healthy! I love the food at Divya's Kitchen --- my favorites are the hearty mung soup, pesto lasagna and vegetable curry YUM!!
My stepdaughter told me about Divya's, and she and I ate there together. We enjoyed an avocado dip with watermelon radish; vegetable curry in cashew sauce; and a chocolate mousse for dessert. We each chose a lovely tea to accompany our meal. The food was lovely and well presented, and I felt deeply nourished. I was so excited afterwards that I ended up ordering her cookbook (should have just bought it at the restaurant), and I'm planning to try new recipes this week. I will definitely be back!
always consistent....great food to stay on the health tip...something for everyone
Server Bryn was an amazing human
Overall great healthy food! I did not like that one of the dishes had too much oil.
Wow I can’t believe the service here. It was simply INCREDIBLE. Our hostess was friendly and tended to our needs. As a vegan myself, she made sure that none of the food was cross contaminated. The food was not only heart warming but light on the stomach. You felt full but never sleepy or rugged. The environment was comfortable, romantic and tasteful. I can’t wait to come back.
Sat by the door - FREEZING! Food came out so fast theres no way it was fresh. They don’t serve alcohol so we were done with our food in 30 minutes. Food was pretty damn good but I was disappointed with the vegan mozzarella
Perfect venue for dinner with a friend. I’m an omnivore, and enjoyed my vegetarian vegetable soup and lasagna. Tasty and satiating. Excellent service.
Excellent food. Beautifully served and well prepared. My second time there. I love this place.
Everything was delicious. The dessert was way overpriced and so small.
Amazing as always! I pretty much won't dine anywhere else!
We had a fabulous time here. We both ordered the curry vegetables with sauteed greens. The dish had depth of flavor. The curry included carrots, cauliflower, string beans, and broccoli. The bowl included a scoop of basamati rice. Service was prompt and continuous. We can't wait to return!
I've been here twice for special occasions, and my experience at Divya's has always made that experience even more memorable. Thank you for the beautiful food and service!
Food is so memorable and so so delicious. Staff is warm, courteous, and professional. Such a wonderful experience. Love love love this place!!!!
The reservation was flawless. Table beautifully set. Server was fun, honest about recommendations and good! Food was great! Was not crazy about dessert—except for the chocolate mousse. That was delicious. Ginger tea was awesome. They were out of the decaf almond chai though which was a bummer. I’ll have to try it next time!
Delicious vegan dishes & great service!!!
Good food. Nice place. Well done!
The food was very clean and green with lots of flavors. Great for anyone who is a vegan, vegetarian or foodie who wants to eat healthy. There isn't any alcohol here so perfect for anyone who isn't drinking.
Such inventive dishes and drink selections. Awesome food!
This place is freakin fantastic! My tastebuds have been truly blown away by this place. The service was excellent and the food and drinks are just phenomenal. I have just found my new favorite restaurant.
The food was tremendous! We finally found Health and delicious food. We went a second time in two days something I do rarely.
I had an amazing time at Divya’s Kitchen. I have been there several times for brunch and the food is always top notch. The servers are quite friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer suggestions.
I recommend Divya’s Kitchen as THE BEST VEGAN FOOD IN NYC!!!!
So so good! It’s like home cooked food in a warm, intimate charming atmosphere
Fresh. Delicious. Attentive, kind service. Lovely ambiance with comfy chairs. This place is a favorite, I've been coming here for years and never seem to tire of ordering my same favorite dishes over and over again. I always feel good when I leave, likey body is thanking me.
GREAT spot. Fully vegan with plenty of GF options. The menu is creative and seasonal.
Wonderful service and great food.
Get the lasagna!!
What an amazing, delightful meal experience. Vegetarian but i felt full yet light and happy at the end of it. The lasagna in particular was exquisite, service by Bryn was stellar. The ayurvedic good vibes are fully encompassed in all aspects of the experience.
Good food, great for vegan/vegetarian options! But there is no alcohol, and I wish I would’ve known this going in
I appreciate their intentions, but a restaurant with untasty food is a total fiasco. The waitstaff were very nice, and the atmosphere is fine, but I went there for the food. Trader Joe's makes a better risotto than they do. Probably did not use arborio rice; as a result, the risotto is neither smooth nor creamy, the two prerequisites. And to think they cannot make a salad right, this is amazing. Both the salads served to our table consisted of a giant pile of rocket (a bitter lettuce) and very little else. Mine was supposed to be a "Jicama and avocado salad". Beautiful idea, but inedible in execution. Very little jicama or avocado, just bitter lettuce by the bushel. Ordered a biscuit since they serve no free bread. Took one bite, and I have tasted better tasting cardboard. Totally unpleasant. Out of 7 dishes the only thing that was edible was chocolate mousse. And even that had large chunks of almond plopped on top, which was certainly not the way to tastily garnish a mousse. No way would I go back there again.
I really enjoy this place, love the food!
What a great dining experience... love Divya’s Kitchen
Great food, terrible service. Waiter never visited out table without calling him down, and got 3 orders wrong. He left the plates after eating sitting there for 30 mins. Food was amazing though.
