Lovely ambiance and delicious food for a reasonable price. Definitely recommended if you like healthy but tasty food.
This is my favorite restaurant
I feel great after eating there
So much love put into the food
There are so few healthy elegant restaurant options making Divya’s all the more special. The staff is friendly and kind, the food is absolutely delicious and wholesome and the ambiance is beautiful.
Love this place
The best vegetarian food hands down, in the city!! Huge portions great flavors and Aruvedic! Food is soo good meat eaters will love it too!!
Very tasty. They were out of several things we wanted, though.
Fantastic experience. Food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. If you would like to eat vegetarian/vegan out, this place is can’t miss.
Impeccable, delicious, and soothing. We left feeling sated in every way. The rose scone with peppermint tea as an ending to our meal ROCKED.
Exceptional brunch. We had a great meal. I had a jicama and avocado salad which was outstanding and perfection. My friend had the curry and was so impressed. Dessert was awesome as was my chai tea. Can’t recommend this place enough
This is my favorite restaurant. So much love put into everything. And I always feel very good after eating the food here. The chef Divya is so sweet and welcoming. It is never too loud and everyone is very nice.
This was my first time going to a vegetarian restaurant and I did not know what to expect. The food and the staff were absolutely amazing. The ambiance was beautiful. I really enjoyed the creamy vegetable soup and the vegan lasagna. Will definitely be visiting Divya's Kitchen again.
Service was amazing! Food was delicious. We’ll be back again. Thank you so much!
Beautiful space and amazing dishes! Love the sweet potatoes
One of the all time best meals I have ever had. Chef Divya personally greeted and seated us, visited our table at each course and took the time to give us some insight into her preparation processes. I definitely will be returning to eat as well as to take one of her cooking classes.
BEST PLACE TO EAT IN NYC.
We came to celebrate our wedding day, the staff was SO nice.
The food is remarkable and the tone of music and atmosphere is extraordinary.
Go eat there immediately!
Wonderful dining experience. Excellent food and service.
exceptional cuisine that is flavorful and clean eating. I love the ambiance and the staff-- the food is superb.
The carrot risotto was amazing & I loved the variety of delicious & healthy beverages.
Wonderful way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you Divya!
We enjoyed a delicious vegetarian meal here Sunday night. This is a alternative Indian cuisine gem in an unexpected location near Alphabet City.
What a fabulous dining experience! Delicious, nourishing, creative dishes. Wonderful, collaborative service. A great buzz with vibrant patrons but easy to talk to your dinner guests at a reasonable volume. I love, love, loved this restaurant!
excellent. delicious. food made by someone who cares about what we eat and how it feeds us in more ways than just our appetite. love Divya's Kitchen.
Great food and very accomadating staff. Good portion sizes and flavorful.
This place is amazing. I've brought countless friends over for countless dinners, and everyone has always been pleased way way beyond expectation. This is truly a NICE, lovely place. The food astonishes with a variety of blissful taste palettes, creativity, and goodness. This is a little loving paradise. Everything from the decor to food, and staff - seems to have a nice loving smile on.
Another wonderful lunch - the vegan mozzarella is really good !
I love everything about this place. It is my second time dining at Divya's Kitchen and I do plan to go back!!! The place smells really good and the setting is really beautiful. Everything is so fresh and delicious! I had the sunflower beet hummus with GF crackers that was just perfect! My favorite drink was the Hibiscus pineapple tea! And I also had the amazing quinoa tabbouleh salad with beluga lentils, not only sounds healthy but also delicious flavors.
We loved our dinner at Divya's. They were understanding when we were running late and their service and food was exceptional. We would love to go back next time we are in NYC.
We were visiting from out of town, looking for a vegan/vegetarian restaurant and found Divya’s on open table. We were very pleased with our dinner and would definitely come back on our next visit to NYC! There are so many more items on the menu I’d like to try!May have to make a special trip to take cooking classes there! Thank you for a delicious meal!
Incredible place. Divine food in a beautiful setting. The wait staff was excellent. The food was delicious.
I still can't get over the flavors! The options were unique and wonderful! The service was great! Definitely going back!
Really flavorful and satisfying food. Interesting vegetarian and vegan choices and beautiful presentation.
LOVED the rose/chocolate mousse ! Go Go GO!
From the first bite I was already trying to figure out when I could return. It was that good.
Unique vegan fare that did not try to emulate meat dishes -- everyone at our table was thrilled with the small bites and starters as well as their main courses; and none of them were even vegetarians. We'll be back!
Best meal I've ever had at a restaurant hands down. You can taste the love in the food and the hostess and waiters have amazing energy. I love the ambiance and the deor is beautiful. I had the vegan caprese salad with cashew cheese, vegan lasagna which is also available with dairy if you prefer. I also had the hibiscus pineapple drink it was sooooo good. My husband had the foccacia which also a great appetizer. He had the raw almond milk, date and cardamom shake which also tasted amazing. Will definitely be back!
Tasty vegetation and vegan food.
Server was wonderful and helpful with selections
I was not aware of the no alcohol policy but once the food and juices came it was all fine.
Lasagna was the best.
Appetizers also very good .. the vegan cheese was excellent as was the avocado flower.
Did not have room for dessert
Divya's kitchen is a gem. Tasty, well-prepared food, friendly service and a quiet, zen like oasis in busy Manhattan. I had the ginger limeade to start, the fennel and beet salad and the lasagna. Each was prepared well and the right balance of sweet/savory. The portions are very large, and I ended up taking half of the lasagna home for another meal.
Food was good, dinner deal (33$ for main course+dessert, add soup or salad for +4$) was fair and portions were filling. Bad note on service: 3 different people alternated to the table, each of them unaware of my order and Way too fast at the extent of being rude, taking away the plates without asking if I was done and bringing the check without saying a word (ever wondered if your customer would like a final cup of coffee, tea or after dinner?). Felt like I was a task to accomplish as soon as possible. Overall good for food but definitely not coming back
Great food, lovely waitress, very authentic.
Great food, lovely atmosphere but staff kept coming over to clear & speed up our meal even though the restaurant wasn’t full & we were not there for an hour & a half.
We celebrated a special occasion.
Updating my review: owner reached out directly to apologize about the AC issue — it was a temporary issue they are fixing. They went above and beyond by offering us a refund. Will definitely return. Great customer service.
There was no AC in summer. It was very uncomfortable and we had to pay for cold water. In addition service was a bit slow. The lasagna and sunflower mozzarella were very tasty. Would not recommend in summer.
