   Very disappointed with my experience here. It was a birthday gift which I was very much looking forward to. We arrived and no one told us what the steak meal came with. In the end, we looked through the menu and could see it only came with mixed veg. Because no one officially took our order, I called someone over to requested we both had a side of fries. He did not advise us it already came with fries!! Our meal came, with fries, and then after we finished they brought over two sides of fries! Staff were rude, and not welcoming at all. Will not be returning. It felt like they wanted us in and out as quickly as possible. No one came and asked if we wanted more drinks etc. Very disappointed.

   Didn’t stay to eat. The menu as advertised on OpenTable was no longer available. There was a short menu of about five items that had to be read out to us as there was no printed menu available inside. Also I had no Coca-Cola! One other couple was dining there and, given everywhere else was really busy, that seemed really odd. We decided to leave.

   Lovely restaurant & friendly staff only criticism is the steak we had didn't come with a sauce & when i asked for horseradish the waitress didn't know what horseradish was... Wonderful steak though really delicious! Just a bit odd to not have a peppercorn sauce or something!

   On arrival there was No Welcome. We had booked a table to eat. Given one drinks menu. Ordered Cocktails to start. With in 10 mins about 8-12 eastern Europeans arrived fist pumping staff to say hello wearing tracksuits and trainers. Turned out that this nicely decorated and ambient place is run by eastern Europeans which appears to have like for the same clientele. Did not order food and left to eat somewhere else that had a better environment.

   Salad was brown and soggy, unimaginative side dish’s Barman was very nice but inexperienced with the cocktails. Paid cash and was expecting change which I was going to leave as a tip but never got our change back. Anyway Barman deserved it for his efforts to get my drink right.

   This restaurant seems to be new - our friends live locally and hasn’t noticed it before. Nice but predictable menu and our waiter was very good and friendly. Of the four Mains, one was cold (mussels) and the sauce was watery; another (seafood risotto), was tepid and a bit glutinous The Lamb shank was very good and the Ribeye Steak was fine. Considering the strong local competition it would serve the restaurateur to up their game and find some differentiation. Not much to complain about but although good value, sadly all a bit ‘ordinary’.

   Great food which was very reasonably priced and the cocktails were exceptional. The service was very good. We had a lovely evening.

   Lovely wine bar and restaurant, beautifully decorated venue, and the food and service are excellent.

    Lovely steak and all other dishes excellent. We will return. Lovely staff also great cocktail.
