Divino - Brentwood Ratings and Reviews
We had a big group for an early New Year’s Eve dinner and Divino handled it graciously as always. They accommodated our requests and our allergies and our server was polite, professional and extremely capable. They have had the same servers for years and it shows in their skills and comfort.
We will continuing going back for the great food and personal service.
This restaurant was a real surprise . We just picked it for a Sunday dinner and the food was great, our waiter was a real pro, and the ambiance was authentic and cozy. This is the kind place you would stumble into in Italy and remember it long after the trip.
Great Service, Great food.
Consistently excellent. I have been several times and it's always wonderful.
Some of the best Bolognese sauce this side of Bologna. I have a hard time ordering anything else. Good thing my dinner companions are willing to share so I can taste other items on the menu :-0
We loved this restaurant for almost the last 20 years. But the last two times, there has been a significant decrease in the level/quality of the food. This past time, we ordered the pasta ortolana, which we always loved. When it came this time, after we finished the pasta, the bottom of the bowl was drenched with oil - it was disgusting.
That was it... unfortunately, we will never go back again.
There are too many other nice restaurants in Brentwood to have to put up with bad quality food.
We love this place! Divino always delivers! We are always treated like family. We are warmly welcomed and know we are going to enjoy great food and service. Everyone we send to Divino is thrilled by their experience. We cannot get enough of it. I like variety and Goran always seems to come up with even more interesting specials than before. We recommend Divino to everyone.
Divino's is always good and always reliable. The room is small but not crowded. It's especially good for groups of two, because unless the place is crammed, conversation is easy. I like it especially for lunch, since it's close to where I live on the westside and parking is easy and nearby - and validated. If you want a big, over-the-top meal with bells and whistles, this place is probably not for you. But for a really pleasant time with a friend or partner where conversation is as important as ambience and food, I'd try it out.
Went with another couple for dinner. Service was very good, kept our water glasses filled but mind you, we were drinking bottled water. Never asked if we wanted more, just kept opening bottles and refilling. I had the bet salad as an appetizer. It was good, the beets were perfectly prepared and tasty. I ordered a swordfish special for my dinner. It was just okay. The fish was very bland. It has a decent sauce of tomatoes and capers but still not great. My husband got the Pette Pollo and he said it was very good. For dessert, we had tiramisu which was very good and an apple tart which I found to be too sweet and I LOVE sugar.
The restaurant can get very noisy which makes it difficult to hear anyone who is not sitting directly nex to you. We could not hear our server telling us what the specials were. Their service made it an enjoyable evening so points for that.
I originally began eating here when it first opened and worked in Brentwood Village. Recently came back for 2 business meals. Had incredible food both times. Squid Ink fettuccine dish this week was amazing. Owner was gracious. Servers were excellent. Highly recommend Divino!
