Friday - Saturday 4pm - 12am Kitchen open until 11pm
The ambiance was wonderful! Service was great but the food wasn’t that good. The bruschetta pasta was basically noodles in vinegar for $20. Explains why it was so empty. But very pretty
What a beautiful restaurant! Dark and cozy and tables were nicely spread out. Great for a special occasion, but any time would work. It was a quiet night and the two servers who were there took great care of us. I know one was Sarah and she was very friendly and talked with us about the restaurant, the food, the drinks, and they were both very accommodating. I can't remember the other young lady's name but she was very pleasant and helpful too. If I lived in Grand Rapids, I would go there often. The food was wonderful...shrimp and grits are incredible... They also had great selection of wine, cocktails and champagne, all in a cool, trendy area. Thank you for a great evening!
We came here for my boyfriend's birthday with a group of 8. They seated us at a semi-private table which was really nice. We loved our server who was knowledgeable and upbeat. The food was excellent and the drink menu was extensive. Lots of good scotch options!
Great service. Went there for an anniversary and they gave us free dessert!
We have visited Divani a few times over the past two years. They consistently deliver a good experience. Prices are a bit higher than the norm in GR, but the food is excellent, the wine list is interesting, and service is attentive. Even though we had not been there since February, the server recognized us and welcomed us back. The menu isn't extensive, but it changes with the seasons. The chef is terrific; his food is well presented, delicious, and not overly salty (a rarity in Midwest restaurants).
As my wife is a big foodie & her birthday falls on GR Restaurant week, I figured this would be a perfect treat. I thought she would like the option of the wine pairing on the restaurant week menu would be something she liked.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with just dark woods & wine bottles on glass cases on the walls and floors. It’s a really cozy & fine dining atmosphere.
The Restaurant Week menu went out the window once my wife discover duck was on the menu, which I also chose. She had wine, I had a delicious cocktail.
I had delicious calamari for starter, I mean it was gorgeous. We had our 5 year old in tow and he was made feel very welcome, he got some really delicious pasta, which was great as we find childrens food is sometimes an afterthought. So huge compliments on that.
Both are duck mains were wonderful, not just the duck but the sides also stood out. We had the chocolate bomb dessert and a delightful coffee.
Our waiter couldn’t have been better. A really enjoyable night out.
We were their for Restaurant Week and had a terrific dinner. Great service, drinks, and food. One of my favorite places in town.
Restaurant menu particularly the beef Wellington was outstanding. The steak melted in your moth. Shrimp bisque soup was also a great choice.
Excellent food and service!
A nice dinner as always for a date night. Parking is getting hard to find so we used valet parking and it worked out well
There are very few restaurants where one can order anything on the menu and know it will be incredible. This is one of those places. Everything I ordered was the best version I have ever had of that thing: cocktails, wine, charcuterie, pear beet salad and risotto were all fantastic. Vegetarian and gluten free options were clearly marked and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful dinner at Divani! The service was absolutely outstanding, from the bartender to our server to the manager, who was helping out the servers throughout the evening. My husband didn't care for his dinner, and they quickly made it right by bringing him something else. He said the burger was the absolute best burger he's ever had. We will absolutely be back!
Food, cocktails and service were all great as usual! This remains one of our favorite dinner spots.
The food was amazing! Steak tartare, pear and Beet salad, and mushroom risotto. We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. The ambience is dark, cool, and eclectic reminiscent of something from another time and place. The cocktails were wonderful too. Highly recommended and we will be back - thank you!
Mother’s Day Brunch was great! The service was excellent and we were greeted or waited on by 4-5 different members of their staff, all whom wished my wife a happy mother’s day. The special menu came out perfectly and in a timely manner, our drinks were fantastic (Mimosas) and overall it was a great experience in the heart of downtown. Parking is also simple and was $3.50. All in all we will definitely be back and can’t wait to try Divani for dinner.
Went to Divani for our anniversary dinner and had a great time! The food was fresh and on point - so was the service. It is one of the pricier options on Ionia, but well worth it!
Our server, Jordan, was exceptional. She was very informative and humble
Arrived 30 mins early for our reservation. Were originally told our table would be ready in 30 mins. Strange since the restaurant was almost empty. A short time later they accommodated our party of 9.
The food selection was small but everything was great. The Beef Tartare was especially good as was the Guacamole. I had the special, steelhead which was prepared perfectly.
Meal was a bit pricey but the atmosphere was relaxing, even with two little ones. Overall a nice experience.
Perfect birthday evening!!
We went for my husbands 40th birthday. The food that he recieved was not good. He was very disappointed and that ruined the beginning of the evening. I chose the restaurant because neither of us had been there before but it had gotten a great recommendation from a friend.
First time here and we were very impressed. Limited menu-which I like-with interesting selections. We had a mixed group of vegetarians and meat lovers and everyone left happy. The ambience is great and our server was simply outstanding. We were very happy that they offer valet parking since it was a busy and very cold Saturday night. We definitely will be returning.
As always absolutely perfect in every way !!
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious Easter brunch on our first visit to Divani. A relaxed pace and attentive service made for a very pleasant meal. Thank you, Divani!
The restaurant was wonderful, the food was spectacular, and our waitress, Arielle, was amazing. I will be back very soon!
We came for their 3 course Easter Brunch Special. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is just beautiful and classically decorated. The greeting by the hostess was friendly and welcoming. Our server, Jordan, came immediately and welcomed us with a genuine smile and an explanation of the Special. I had a Bloody Mary ... one of the best I've ever had. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Our first time ... but, not our last. Highly recommended
Excellent service. Nice atmosphere to have a longer visit, if desired. Enjoyed dinner with our daughter and her boyfriend. We tried several of the specialty cocktails. Unique and fun!
My wife and I make infrequent trips to Grand Rapids to see friends and family (we live in Metro Detroit). When we do, we ensure that a trip to Divani is always on the schedule. On our random first visit two years ago for our Anniversary, the waitress suggested I try the burger. Let me tell you, along with marrying my wife, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The burger at Divani is now both mine and my wife's favorite and best burger we have ever had (add gouda cheese, trust me). Since that initial visit, our experience has been fantastic each time we've gone. The drinks are fantastic. The bruschetta is delicious. The calamari is incredible. The waitstaff is fun, kind, and helpful. I seriously can't wait for our next trip to GR so we can stop in again.
Thank you to Arielle and the entire staff for the great service and experience!
Awesome service! Had dinner there
before a concert. Great food and reasonably priced.
I always chose Divani when I am going to a concert downtown because they take reservations and they are never overly crowded. My friends and I were going to see P!NK and went to Divani before for dinner. The food was great and our server was very attentive... It just seemed like they were very short staffed for the night of a sold out concert at Van Andel. The same three people who were waiting tables were also tending bar. We got our drinks, but then watched for quite some time as our server made pretty much every table in the restaurants drinks before coming over to take our food order. Luckily we were not concerned with seeing the opening act at the show because we completely missed it by the time we got done with dinner.
Outstanding experience from meeting the Owner at the door to the delicious tasty meal choices and the prompt attentive service. I absolutely love it here and recommend everyone come here for a great dining experience, or just a casual drop by. The wine list and special drinks are perfect for all tastes! Planning another visit soon!
We really enjoyed our dinner -the food was outstanding as was the service and ambiance.
The service was incredible, and the cocktails were perfectly balanced and mixed. The lasagne was the highlight. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the balls of sausage throughout were some of the best I've ever had, and the sauce was a good balance of sweet and acidic. The bread it came with was absolutely heavenly. I don't think there was a drop of sauce left on my plate when I was done. I'll be back.
The food and drinks are AMAZING!!! We are both looking forward to returning soon.
We started with a few drinks which were nice. I ordered a filet medium well. It ended up being very dry but the potato side was delicious. The brussel sprouts were very tasty but had too much salt. My wife and I both had the stew which was excellent. The calamari was ok, it could have been crispier. Overall we had a nice night and the service was the best part of the night. We felt like a King and Queen. I spent $138 for 2 people. If they had an incentive program like Leos then I would probably go back more often.
On our way to the symphony, we decided to give Divani a try. I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere was cozy, everyone was very attentive (but not so obnoxiously so), and the food was terrific. My husband tried the lasagna and I went for the filet. No need for a steak knife here! It was so tender and cooked perfectly! I'm just so sorry we didn't have time for dessert. We'll definitely be back soon!
Delicious and some of the best attention from the servers. What a wonderful night. Get the cheese appetizer, you'll never regret it!
Solidly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Grand Rapids. The food was fantastic, the service five stars. It was a little loud, but not enough to dent my experience. I will be back.
This was our belated valentine date, so the hubs called ahead - but they pulled everything off beautifully. They had a quiet table, with a charcuterie plate and wine decanting - ready for us. Jordyn did a wonderful job as server as did Molly at checking in on us. Couldn’t recommend them more!
Probably one of the most underrated GR. Great food and service.
