Solidly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Grand Rapids. The food was fantastic, the service five stars. It was a little loud, but not enough to dent my experience. I will be back.

This was our belated valentine date, so the hubs called ahead - but they pulled everything off beautifully. They had a quiet table, with a charcuterie plate and wine decanting - ready for us. Jordyn did a wonderful job as server as did Molly at checking in on us. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Best cocktail (peach bikini) I've ever had and the best salmon I've ever had along with an excellent chocolate ball dessert. Will be coming back soon!

We ate at Bar Divani on Valentine's Day. This is not our first time (nor our last) at the restaurant, nor our first time eating here on Valentine's Day. So, please know that we have been very happy eating at Bar Divani in the past. They had a special prix fixe menu that looked very good on paper, but was less satisfying in practice. The service was very good except for the waiter who was simply taking our orders and checking in occasionally. A good waiter can really help to make your night special. That was not the case. For example, we noticed that we were given noticeably less champagne than the tables around us. So, this may have colored our attitude toward our waiter. The people who seated us and brought us our food were great. They were lively and seemed happy to be there. For the food, although, given the choice à la carte, I would have likely ordered similar items, I would not have willingly paid as much. The portions were small, which I don't mind as long as the dish delivers on flavor. My beet salad needed more acid and the herbed goat cheese was too loose and creamy making me believe that it was mixed with something else to give it such as texture. It was served on a small plate will maybe 5 razor thin slices of red beet and a few chunks of yellow beet and kale. My wife enjoyed her lobster bisque and was happy to find chunks of lobster. The salmon was also small and the star of the plate was the orange-saffron couscous. Unfortunately, there was not enough couscous on the plate. The asparagus and the salmon were cooked to perfection and had excellent flavor, but there just wasn't enough on the plate and the plating seemed like a high end cafeteria entree. Had the service not felt so rushed (in and out in under an hour), we may not have noticed that the presentation of the plates also seemed rushed. The Tiramisu was the largest dish we had that night and it was excellent. It had a combination of textures and flavors that made it very satisfying.

We had reservations for Valentines and didn't realize they were only offering a very limited menu (3 entrees total), but it was good. Portions weren't large but quality was very good.

Main courses were outstanding!!! I don't use salt making my appreciation of the Lobster Bisque was a little rough. It otherwise was delicious with generous amounts of lobster and quality. Our Tiramisu dessert had great flavor, but was a little "watery" on the bottom. We mentioned it an Molly et al went into full "fix it" mode. She went well over board to correct the perception - Thank you Molly, but we'll lie next time :) !!

Great evening, this is one of our secret escape locations - therapeutic value is amazing!! Highly recommend.

Our waitress Ariella was wonderful. Her suggestions for food and drink were delicious. I would go again.
And, I loved the table right next to the window for two. It was a perfect place to have a quiet anniversary dinner.
