Good food, great service. There is space between tables which is why we prefer this restaurant to others. A little pricey.
Very fun vibe in the restaurant! Our server, Monica, was terrific, very helpful and friendly to first time visitors. Food was excellent, very nice wine list with lots of prices/options. We had a very nice time and highly recommend this restaurant.
We were sat right away for our reservation. No service issues. It was all very fluid. The only thing was our food came out almost 10 minutes after we ordered. We didn’t finish our salad and had just received bread before our entrees came. I felt so rushed. Next time, I’ll order food after our salad plates have been cleared. It was my bday so we were in no rush and wanted to enjoy dinner. Again, besides that - it was a nice dinner. The signature salad was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides came out hot and tasty.
Very good food
Wonderful birthday celebration! We had a great time celebrating with steaks, seafood and ample side to share. Ambience was a little louder as the evening went on, though was acceptable. Service was fantastic and server attentive to our table. Great job! Would definitely return!
Food was great! Get the chocolate cake
We were having a birthday celebration for our son-in-law who is a steak lover, he thoroughly enjoyed his dinner and Ditka’s touches of a glass of sparkling wine and small cake with candle was just perfect!!!!!
We celebrated our anniversary at Ditka’s. Our server, Elizabeth greeted us with complimentary glasses of champagne-which was a surprise. Elizabeth was very friendly to us and the other tables she was waiting on. The wedge salad was delicious as was the New York strip steak. We were however disappointed on the filet mignon, it was over cooked and didn’t have much taste to it. It’s a good thing we took home the very large piece of coconut cream pie-it was so delicious. It made up for the overcooked filet.
Great steaks cooked exactly like I ordered, waiter was great keeper checking on us if we needed anything. Not the first time I've been to Ditkas and looking forward to the next visit
Pot Roast Nachos are always a great start! If you have never been then you have to give it a try!
Came here for a post Valentine's Day Celebration. Ditka's is a celebration place; it ain't cheap! But the service, food, and ambiance are all worth it.
Started with Pot Roast Nachos with jalapenos on the side. I'm not a big nachos guy, but Ditka's is know for these. Very good.
Girlfriend had the Mike's Salad, and I got the Kale Caesar. It's salad, but it was solid. Mike's was better than Caesar.
Ordered the Fridge Burger with fries, and a side of Brussels. Girlfriend had the 8 oz. Halfback Filet, cooked medium. It came out perfect, as did my burger. Girlfriend also had the sparkling Rose.
Bill wasn't as bad as I expected. Reasonable for all things considered. Love this place, and will be back on occasion.
Ditka's food never disappoints. It's a family favorite of ours.
The food was fabulous, I would definitely eat here again
nice casual dinner food was very good.
Service very nice
We ordered the evening special, Crab cake topped filet mignon that was outstanding!
Our waiter (Owen) couldn't have been more attentive without being overbearing.
I had made a special request and my request was fulfilled above and beyond.
Not my first time at Ditka's/Oakbrook and never disappointed.
Birthday/Valentine dinner was great, service was amazing, food excellent.
Our server was fantastic. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and she brought us 2 little desserts. Staff very attentive
Steak prices and ala carte. Too high
Overall it was good. However my prime rid was under cooked for my taste but I delt with it. Took too long to follow up. example: We were not told that fresh bread was being baked and it would be a minute until I asked about it. Next took too long bring food out and it was warm, not hot. So a little over priced for what you get. Portions were good. And ambiance was good. Just a little tweaking would make things great. Let me also add, I didn't like having to walk through and past all the open 4 top tables to be set at a small round table at the back of the dining room. If I would have not said anything the hostess would have been fine with it. Not a good impression.
Valentine’s Day crowd. Tables are too small. Steak wasn’t cooked as ordered and wasn’t that great. Asparagus was bland. Waitress was very good and attentive but the food wasn’t worth it.
Perfect spot for our Valentine Day's dinner. Service excellent and genuine. Our waiter, Owen, is a pro, did it all right. Touchdown and two point conversion, excellent work Ditka's.
We went to Ditkas for a romantic Valentine's dinner and we were very impressed. Excellent ambiance and service. Food was amazing. From the Mike's salad and then Sea Bass and Prime Rib, the dinner was fantastic. We will definitely be going back.
We go to Ditkas frequently and are never disappointed.
The pot roast nachos are a staple I get every time . Great service, valet, and reception.
They rescheduled my appt because apparently they thought it was best to let me know 2 hours before my 8:30pm reservation that the kitchen closes early on Sunday’s.
Food was delicious but be prepared to spend some money. A bit on the pricey side.
We enjoyed it so much we bought a gift card for someone’s birthday.
They went out of their way to make us feel special on our anniversary. The service was amazing. Attentive but not bothersome. Food was outstanding. The pork chop could feed two people. Loved the Old Fashioned (one of the best I’ve had ) and my husbands tuna was equally good
Food was good but expecting a little more for the money. Atmosphere was nothing special.
Our server was nice and delivered our food and drinks super fast.
If you can’t be happy with this place then you should stay home.
Great job as always.......
Very nice environment , excellent service - very satisfied
Great food and service!
I always have enjoyed this place. I have been a Ditka fan since the 60's when he was the greatest TE in Bears history. Also a Cowboys fan so I like him for that too. The restaurant, the food, the bar, everything reflects the excellence that Ditka has always embodied. Good location in Oak Brook as well. I will be back.
Car parking less than desirable. Parking was full so I parked at a vacant spot in the first row. An attendant, in late teens or early twenties yelled at me saying move your car, this is valet parking. I asked him politely where I can park. He said go to underground garage. I am in late 60s and I do not deserve this kind of treatment. Went to garage, parked somewhere around the center. I tried several doors for stairs, all were locked. Finally, I found a sign saying To Ditka's. Went to the stairs, dodging dirty water dripping from the ceiling. Went through a rusty door to the stairs. It all looked like I am in a slum area of Chicago, not in Oak Brook. In the parking lot, the snow and ice was not removed at the curb and I was afraid of slipping and falling. At the table service was fine. I wish there were more choice for lunch menu. For the price I paid, overall, for food and experience I will rate at C minus. I may not return back to Ditka's. Thanks.
Our server was very prompt and courteous. Had the bone in fillet, it was outstanding.
Lovely food and great service from Page!
Went with friends had a wonderful night!!! Honestly the best raspberry martini I ever had. I had my favorite dish, Manchego chicken , omg so delicious and perfectly prepared !!!
Ditkas is a well balanced pick for lunch or dinner. It’s a worth the drive and service is good. Prime rib is great, good kids menu, twiced baked potato pretty week, good Brussel Sprouts.
Great wine list of bottles you’ll know.
