Great location for a business meal without being too formal or stuffy. Excellent food.
Great food and excellent service. We had the meatloaf and Da Coach’s pork chop. Both were amazing. The sides were equally tasty and well prepared. To get what you pay for here but not overpay.
Best meal I've had in several years. Especially loved the crab bisque.
Came to Chicago for a couples get away. Everything on the menu looked delicious. Wife had the pork chop and I had the new strip. Very good ! Will come back.
Had reservations for 6 people and ended up with 9. Called ahead and it was no problem. Food was great and value priced. Everyone had an enjoyable evening and great food. 3 year in a row that I entertained at Ditka’s for this meeting. Highly recommend!!
My first time in Chicago and was told by coworkers to have dinner at this restaurant and man it was worth it.
waiter mark wAs awesome we will return the food was great to
We enjoyed a great meal with outstanding service following a recent day trip to the city from downstate. We always like Ditka’s because the staff is so friendly and the food excellent.
Great food and service! Ask for a booth in the bar if you want to keep your eye in a sporting event. The prices aren't bad either for all you get!
Did not live up to the hype, at least not for me. Da Chop was ok, but the Illini chops from County Market on my grill are every bit as good. Service was good. Did not leave enough of an impression on me to make a return visit.
Outstanding dinner with a great wine list.
Our group had an excellent time. The service was outstanding along with the food. The prime rib was very good along with the lobster risotto. We all had fun looking at all the memorabilia. Would highly recommend.
I was in Chicago for a business conference with colleagues and Ditka's was recommended as a place for a fantastic steak. The noise level was rather high for conversing, but the food and service made up for all the yelling across the table I did. Our starter was the coconut shrimp which were lightly battered and in a slightly sweet/spicy sauce...so good. I had the baby back ribs and shared a full rack with another colleague because the portions are very large. We also had Lobster Mac&Cheese and it was (Meh). Overall, it was a great experience and I would return.
Mother- Daughter trip to Chicago - we wanted a special meal for our last night. This place was PERFECT! Great food and great service and we felt “important “.
The meatloaf with the jalapeño bread was exceptional. The filet mignon was superb. It was a recommendation and a fabulous one. Service was incredible as well.
Great food..... reasonably priced (compared to other Chicago steak places). Kids menu... Great service.......4.5 stars....
Great steaks. Visitors from Albany much impressed by quality of beef!
The crab cakes were perfection; less cake more crab! The steaks were also cooked to perfection. Our server, Lee, was friendly and helpful with selections.
Wonderful service and excellent food.
Our server, Lee, was attentive but not overly so. He helped us choose what to eat so he had excellent knowledge of the menu. The restaurant has a classy sports bar feeling. Loved looking at all of the memorabilia. Great dining experience!
Food and service was excellent. One of our best Chicago meals. Rack of ribs was huge; enough for 3 or 4 people. Server was fantastic!
Excellent service. Great ambience. Large plates of tasty food. What could be better!
Service and food were excellent! Would very much recommend!
Excellent Service. Had the pork chop with mashed sweet potato and apple chutney, a goat cheese/cranberry salad that was perfect. Pork chop was delicious. Shared banana cream pie for dessert. Cocktail, salad, entree, coffee and a shared dessert came to $80, including tip. That's very reasonable for Chicago. And I had leftovers fir next day.
We went to Ditkas for Easter Brunch and enjoyed the Easter Buffet. Lots of delicious options to choose from! The desert bar and chocolate fountain were so tasty! The only downside was that the buffet was located on the second floor and we were dining on the first floor. We either had the option to take the elevator ( located in the hotel next door) to the 2nd floor and then walk through the lobby with full plates of food or walk through the crowded entrance and up the stairs.
Great assortment of food. Great taste and service was wonderful
We went to Ditka's for Easter brunch and our family had a wonderful time. Our 8 month old even received a lot of citrus fruits from our amazing server, Neil. Neil was one of the most attentive and helpful servers we've ever had in Chicago. He knew how to help our parents order and he was a treasure of Chicago sports knowledge. This was an excellent experience and we highly recommend grabbing a late meal or dessert upstairs on the weekend to listen to Johnny Vincent sing!
Went there for the Easter brunch buffet. Food was good the waiter was amazing!!!! The coat check lady throw the coats but whatever
ALWAYS have a great time at Ditka's!! The live music is amazing and takes you back to the days of Jazz Joints with the old standards. Service runs behind a bit but the atmosphere and the attention given by the servers during the wait makes up for it every time. LOVE this place and the Pork Chops are to die for!! We visit every time we are in Chicago which is once a month.
We were at Ditkas during the NCAA semifinal games - a nice atmosphere, although an unfortunate outcome for many of the locals and staff. All five of us (3 children ages 16,15 and 10) enjoyed the experience and hope to return again the next time we are in Chicago.
Carlos (our server) was great, loved our meal, thanks.
Went here with my family while in Chicago for my brother and my birthday's in March. It is located very close to Magnificent Mile and thus we walked over from the water tower as we were looking for a place with steak and seafood options. The waiter was amazing, the ambiance was a mix of elegant and regular bar mixture as we were able to see a the Final Four NCAA basketball game while enjoying such delicious food! Overall, we were tricked into thinking this place was average, when they are far beyond that in food and service. We will be coming back again soon!
Best filet ever! I had the Bleu cheese crust and it was awesome. Mike’s Ice Cream dessert was SO yummy!
Ditka’s never disappoints.
Felt like we were treated poorly based on our attire, sweatshirts and jeans. We were placed in a very dimly lit area, at a table holding a door open. Server didn't bring our bread until after the meal arrived, felt rushed out. Steaks and potatoes were under done, waitress came only once to check on us, about 10 seconds after we got our food. Felt very uncomfortable there. Wanted to take my son to a nice dinner while on his spring break.
I always have the perch. It used to have 7. Then 6. Now it’s 5. Better to raise the price than give less.
The server was very pleasant but food service was very slow. The prime rib was good but the filet was ordered medium and was served very rare. They brought out a new steak which was still rare and then took it back to the kitchen, grilled it more and brought it back part medium and part well done. At that time I just ate the medium part. They did end up comping the filet but only after they presented the full bill and l complained about the steak. The banana cream pie was fantastic and the salad very good.
Good food but was a little noisy
It was my husband’s birthday.
Good food and service, atmosphere was upbeat and several in our party are serious football fans who enjoyed the decor. One of my favorites in Chicago.
