Ditka's Restaurant, located in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast between Rush & Michigan, is a Chicago Landmark. Ditka's has a decidedly understated sports motif, white linen table cloths, hardwood floors, intimate leather booths & rich mahogany wood accents. Known for Chops & Steaks including the signature dish "Da Pork Chop" along with a wide variety of fresh, sustainable seafood and contemporary American classics. The lunch menu is full of wonderful fresh salads, protein bowls & sandwiches including the "Best Burger in Chicago", the Fridge Burger. Service is approachable & friendly in a comfortable atmosphere. Don't be surprised to catch sight of Da Coach himself.

We enjoyed a great meal with outstanding service following a recent day trip to the city from downstate. We always like Ditka’s because the staff is so friendly and the food excellent.

Great food and service! Ask for a booth in the bar if you want to keep your eye in a sporting event. The prices aren't bad either for all you get!

Did not live up to the hype, at least not for me. Da Chop was ok, but the Illini chops from County Market on my grill are every bit as good. Service was good. Did not leave enough of an impression on me to make a return visit.

Our group had an excellent time. The service was outstanding along with the food. The prime rib was very good along with the lobster risotto. We all had fun looking at all the memorabilia. Would highly recommend.

I was in Chicago for a business conference with colleagues and Ditka's was recommended as a place for a fantastic steak. The noise level was rather high for conversing, but the food and service made up for all the yelling across the table I did. Our starter was the coconut shrimp which were lightly battered and in a slightly sweet/spicy sauce...so good. I had the baby back ribs and shared a full rack with another colleague because the portions are very large. We also had Lobster Mac&Cheese and it was (Meh). Overall, it was a great experience and I would return.

The crab cakes were perfection; less cake more crab! The steaks were also cooked to perfection. Our server, Lee, was friendly and helpful with selections.

Our server, Lee, was attentive but not overly so. He helped us choose what to eat so he had excellent knowledge of the menu. The restaurant has a classy sports bar feeling. Loved looking at all of the memorabilia. Great dining experience!

Excellent Service. Had the pork chop with mashed sweet potato and apple chutney, a goat cheese/cranberry salad that was perfect. Pork chop was delicious. Shared banana cream pie for dessert. Cocktail, salad, entree, coffee and a shared dessert came to $80, including tip. That's very reasonable for Chicago. And I had leftovers fir next day.

We went to Ditkas for Easter Brunch and enjoyed the Easter Buffet. Lots of delicious options to choose from! The desert bar and chocolate fountain were so tasty! The only downside was that the buffet was located on the second floor and we were dining on the first floor. We either had the option to take the elevator ( located in the hotel next door) to the 2nd floor and then walk through the lobby with full plates of food or walk through the crowded entrance and up the stairs.

We went to Ditka's for Easter brunch and our family had a wonderful time. Our 8 month old even received a lot of citrus fruits from our amazing server, Neil. Neil was one of the most attentive and helpful servers we've ever had in Chicago. He knew how to help our parents order and he was a treasure of Chicago sports knowledge. This was an excellent experience and we highly recommend grabbing a late meal or dessert upstairs on the weekend to listen to Johnny Vincent sing!

ALWAYS have a great time at Ditka's!! The live music is amazing and takes you back to the days of Jazz Joints with the old standards. Service runs behind a bit but the atmosphere and the attention given by the servers during the wait makes up for it every time. LOVE this place and the Pork Chops are to die for!! We visit every time we are in Chicago which is once a month.

We were at Ditkas during the NCAA semifinal games - a nice atmosphere, although an unfortunate outcome for many of the locals and staff. All five of us (3 children ages 16,15 and 10) enjoyed the experience and hope to return again the next time we are in Chicago.

Went here with my family while in Chicago for my brother and my birthday's in March. It is located very close to Magnificent Mile and thus we walked over from the water tower as we were looking for a place with steak and seafood options. The waiter was amazing, the ambiance was a mix of elegant and regular bar mixture as we were able to see a the Final Four NCAA basketball game while enjoying such delicious food! Overall, we were tricked into thinking this place was average, when they are far beyond that in food and service. We will be coming back again soon!

Felt like we were treated poorly based on our attire, sweatshirts and jeans. We were placed in a very dimly lit area, at a table holding a door open. Server didn't bring our bread until after the meal arrived, felt rushed out. Steaks and potatoes were under done, waitress came only once to check on us, about 10 seconds after we got our food. Felt very uncomfortable there. Wanted to take my son to a nice dinner while on his spring break.

I always have the perch. It used to have 7. Then 6. Now it’s 5. Better to raise the price than give less.

The server was very pleasant but food service was very slow. The prime rib was good but the filet was ordered medium and was served very rare. They brought out a new steak which was still rare and then took it back to the kitchen, grilled it more and brought it back part medium and part well done. At that time I just ate the medium part. They did end up comping the filet but only after they presented the full bill and l complained about the steak. The banana cream pie was fantastic and the salad very good.

Our meals were very good and steaks cooked just right. The service was excellent and both the waiter and his team were very attentive. My drink never got low. Would definitely recommend and come back again. My only negative was that the restrooms were up stairs and a good distance from where searing for dinner was.

This restaurant is in a great location half a block from Michigan Avenue. The interior is pleasant and inviting with very attentive staff. We got our table immediately from arriving and the waiter immediately took our orders and the food was on our table very quickly. We had the fillet mignon duo and a hamburger. The filet mignon was perfectly prepared, and the burger was huge, enough for two people. Pricewise this is probably the least expensive of all the steak houses in downtown Chicago which is another plus. Overall the attention, the quality, and the location where all excellent and it’s definitely a place that I will go back again. As a side note: we went on St. Patrick’s Day and the place was absolutely packed and yet it did not seem to affect the quality of the food or the service.
