Ditka's - Arlington Heights Ratings and Reviews
The food this location like all of the locations was quite delicious. However our waitress took forever at times seeming to disappear and then out of nowhere come back. Our food was bought out by a different server and our server never came back to ask about our meal or if we needed anything in addition. The booth behind us was loud and obnoxious along with the fact that the waitress must’ve known them as she stood there for at least 45 minutes laughing and joking with them at the top of her longs. I’ll stick to the Chicago location
We were a little disappointed since they changed the menu and removed ribs and meatloaf from the menu. My wife had a pork chop and that was very good. I wanted ribs but settled for fried chicken and it was just average. They used to have reduced burger night which was good but that option in no longer available. So in short it was a nice time, food was OK, but we will not be heading back in the very near future.
Great service. However very disappointed in some of the food. The baked potatoes seemed microwaved. Not fluffy at all. The prime rib was very rare and my dad ordered medium. The banana pie isn't a pie. It was tasty but small and over priced. An expensive night. Not sure we will be back.
I've been here before quite a few times, but this time I was really disappointed. There were four of us--the salads were great! The salmon looked good, my husband's steak-no complaints, but my friend's pork chops were tough and my "southern fried chicken"? It was a bit disgusting to see on my plate-picture this: large oval plate with just 4 small fried pieces of unappetizing chicken to look at with no garnish to enhance or whet my appetite! Ain't going back for a long, long time, if at all! The Colonel turned in his grave on this one!
Kylene was excellent we had a party of 4. My brother and i had Prime Rib .My brother told her he did not like his she aplogised and offered him something else and he had a burger and was not charged for the prime rib .Kylene never complained no dirty looks at all Her personality was outstanding responded to various questions and was extremely attentive .She loves her job and she treats guest like family . Will be back and hope we can have Kylene again very good waitress and a great experience
This is the first time we dined at Ditka's .. but most definitely will not be the last. Rose was our server and she was fantastic, she had some excellent assistant waiters as well and let's just say the whole dining experience was excellent. The food was fabulous. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the pork chop. YUMMO everything was perfectly prepared. We will see you again soon, Ditka's .... Thank you !!!!
Our first time dining at Ditka's and definitely not our last! Adjacent to Arlington Park Racetrack and conveniently located off of Route 53. A nice dark and moderately quiet dining area that enticed us to order (very, very good!) old fashioned cocktails as though we were at a Wisconsin Supper Club.
Our server recommended an off menu special that was incredibly good and reasonably priced, Surf n Turf at $31 for steak and garlic shrimp dejohnge including potato and vegetable side. The Ditka's salad was very good with fresh diced apples, dried cranberries and the toasted pecans were freshly prepared and still warm! No room for dessert, perhaps next time.
We are fairly frequent customers of Ditka's, so it must be good :-) As usual the food, drinks and service were excellent. I would note one negative though, the menu is now much more limited than it used to be, with some favourites missing ... No mushrooms, no flourless chocolate cake ... Maybe it's a seasonal thing, but removing them is a negative.
Our server was very friendly! She attended to all of our questions and needs with a smile on her face and she even helped us take a group picture! The food and drinks (e.g., coffee and mimosa) were delicious! I would definitely recommend to a friend or colleague!
