Best deal around if you go for happy hour from 5-7pm. Very decent margaritas for $5 and the happy hour soft tacos with chicken, pork or fish are excellent as a meal. Also get the nachos off the HH menu and you are set.

I went to Distrito about 1-2 years ago and the menu was more extensive. One of our favorite meals was the carne asada, so we were looking forward to this when we came back. To our dismay we noticed the menu was entirely different, there were no entrees and it was a more simplified menu. The tacos we had weren't very flavorful and my boyfriend said his braised beef taco tasted like stew. The margaritas were great, but not enough to make us want to come back. Service was amazing, especially our waiter.

Really hope Distrito Moorestown sticks around with the changing ownership. A great restaurant with great food. Not enough of these types of places around this area.

Went for happy hour and sat outside. We shared queso dip which was very good. I had 2 fish tacos which were great and 2 chicken tacos which I did not like. Red Sangria was good. Server was a little pushy to get us out, coming to the table too much asking if we needed something or if we finished. He kept reaching in front of someone while we are having a conversation. Would have rather him just say his shift was ending if we could pay him. Other than that I would possibly return again to try other things.

First time there & overall it was very impressive. The happy hour (3-7) is awesome & the first comes out very quickly after it placed. We sat at the bar but the tables are very nice & cozy looking.

I am never, ever, ever, let down by anyone or anything at distrito. Dan is running a tight ship, providing his guests with the best service and overall experience. I’ve been here more times than I would care to admit in the past few years, and it’s the one place I always feel welcome to come back to at any time, any day. Kudos to Josh, Andrew, Alex, and Dan for a job well done every time.

Second time at Distrito, and it gives you excellent gourmet Mexican food at a very reasonable price. Atmosphere is very cool. Not too loud, not too quiet.

Having moved here a year ago from DC it’s nice to have a cityesque spot to grab great margs in an inviting/lively atmosphere. Worth mentioning that he bartenders always knock the jalapeño margarita out of the park! A very picky eater and drinker who has yet to be disappointed by this place.

went during happy hour and waiter’s table was around us, but we rarely saw him. Waiter did not disclose the cost of pitchers vs. single glasses. Food was less than, but I was starving after not eating all day that I HAD to eat it. Guacamole and chips were great though!!

I brought my wife and family to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was great with exception to the rice and beans, that were a bit crunchy and under cooked. The chicken tacos we'd ordered had very little flavor, I believe it was the adobo chicken, and the chicken enchilada. My son had the shrimp taco, and enjoyed it, but I didn't think there was enough flavor. My favorite was the crispy pork taco. I had 4 of them (and had to stop). They were delicious. Other than that, my wife and I are looking forward to going back again throughout the year.
The service was excellent. ASHLEY, our server, she was fantastic. My son has a severe peanut, tree nut allergy, and she'd mentioned right away, that her best friend has the same. And that her friend has eaten there several times as well. The manager also came over to assure us that there were no peanuts/tree nuts there as well.

I realize it was Cinco de Mayo, but the music was way too loud throughout the entire restaurant. We had to yell to place our order and conversation was next to impossible! Also we ordered two pitchers of margaritas. We received cups filled with ice, along with the pitcher full of ice. Very little of the margaritas. It came to $98!! What a rip off.

I was there w a few friends celebrating a birthday which I indicated on my reservation
We were seated off in a room that was not where we requested.
The service was very slow
We got a large salad to share w no serving utensils same w the guacamole
The 3 sides of rice beans we ordered were cold n came back to the table so late we had to take them home
And we were even charged for the churro dessert to sing happy birthday
We did like our tacos but overall disappointing

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner and overall I believe it was a fantastic choice. The ambiance was perfect; not too loud, not too dark, and the music was good. Our service was a bit slow but that’s expected on a busy Saturday night. For having a limited food menu, it wasn’t difficult to find a dish that we both enjoyed

5:00 on Saturday, the first beer was a Miller Lite bottle, couldn't order another because oops we ran out, second beer was a Corona Lite draft which couldn't be reordered because they ran out of that too. $13 recommended house tequila margarita quite pricey. Service was poor. Had to constantly track down the waitress, who couldn't be bothered to clear dirty dishes or glasses.

Been there many times. You can’t beat the happy hour pricing. The food is always good. Still one of the best basic fish tacos in the area! Our waitress was a little forgetful, but very pleasant, she didn’t impact our experience in a negative way. Service is usually top notch. After many visits, I can’t expect perfection every time. Plus, having been in the service industry, I get that even the most professional person can have an off day. I will continue to keep this as one of our usual spots.

We were very excited to try a Jose Garces restaurant but were sadly disappointed. We ordered 2 appetizers, some tacos and the crab enchiladas. The food came out very quickly to the point the appetizers and tacos arrived simultaneously and the enchiladas arrived a few minutes later.
It seemed as though everything was prepared ahead and just served as ordered. The food was much blander than we expected.

The service was also much slower than it should have been. In a nearly empty restaurant we waited awhile for a refill of water and clean plates.

We really enjoy this restaurant and come as often as possible. The room is always filled with obviously happy people and the aromas alone are enticing. Both the drinks are eats are terrific. You will feel like family as the servers are knowledgeable and very friendly. Recommend this restaurant highly.

Food and drinks were great but our server was not the best. As a few people at the table are servers and one a chef we are very lenient and understanding but food was forgotten, rung in wrong, drinks took a very long time as we saw them at service bar. We all said we would go back sit at the bar since it’s very casual but we enjoyed everything we did have though.

Food was excellent but the service is poor. If you eat in the dining room during happy hour you must ask your server for the happy hour prices on cocktails and appetizers, otherwise they will not tell you about them and want you to order from the menu at regular prices

Waited entirely too long for simple things like drinks. I watched my beer sit on the bar waiting to be brought to the table for 20 minutes. Until finally I asked another person, not my waitress to grab it for me. Waited for drinks every single time we got a refill. Asked for items that were never brought to the table. Overall.. service needs improvement. And this isn’t the first time I am saying this about this place. Lucky for them.. the food is all that saves the day

This was our third visit to Distrito, and we’ve had the same experience every time. SUPER snotty host staff, late seating despite a reservation, and a poor server who, despite her best efforts, couldn’t keep up. She clearly had too many tables, and while she was great, the rest of the staff acted like they were doing us a favor to let us eat there. I won’t be going back.
