Food was really great. As mentioned in some other reviews, service was a bit slow at times, but not always. Not a real concern as overall it was great. Somewhat noisy as the evening progressed, but that is to be expected as the place was packed. Again - the food was great - highly recommended.

The limited amount of dining options were all flavorful and pleasurable. Although I wish there was a broader variety of options or a weekly rotation of food options as I would like to return to district but would have to wait at least a month because I would be tired of the food if it was the same exact set each time

We really enjoyed our time at District, with the variety of cheeses, tapas, wines, and most importantly, the server's knowledge of wines. Will be coming back definitely!

Very good buffet and bottomless mimosas, only complaint would be the table size and proximity to other tables. We were in the front and were squished right next to another table.

Nice ambiance although dim lighting made the menu a little hard to read. We shared a few small plates tapas style and enjoyed a couple of cocktails from their list. A little on the expensive side for a casual meal but a nice spot that had plenty of reservations available the day before.

Really nice ambience and great food. Tried several of the small plates and a glass of wine. I was very happy with everything. Nice taste and presentation.

I met some friends for drinks and tapas on a Friday night . Even though there was a Giants game, we found parking just around the corner. We shared three or four tapas and a pizza, with a couple of beers and a Sazarac and the bill came to $90 - so, not cheap. The food was tasty, and the waiter fairly quick - came back a couple of times to refill water glasses. They have an extensive wine and whiskey menu, and a few beers on tap. Mostly bottled. The high table chairs were NOT comfortable - hard wood and kind of short on the seat. Ask for a booth if you reserve. We were able to talk, but it was loud to start (we arrived at 6:45 pm) and got a little quieter after 7:30 pm. when the bar scene dwindled. Overall, a good place to stop if you are in SOMA and want a savory bite. I might come back to do a wine tasting - flights seemed reasonably priced.

Very good tapas menu and prompt, friendly service. Would only criticize the small size of the tables. We were 4 people and with waters, plates, wine and food it was pretty hard to manage.

Before a Sf Giants game, thought we could find something interesting to munge on in the neighborhood.
Small plates were Ok; nothing extraordinary. Next time we will just eat in the stadium...more selection and better food.

Enjoyed the brunch - the food was good. Sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly

My only complaint was the hostess. We had reserved a table for two when they opened at 11. She sat us in a dark back corner against the wall - no light and near the bathrooms. Asked for a different table (many open) and said they were reserved for other people (guess not being regulars you get the crappy tables).

Only because the bartender was attentive and said come join him at the bar did we stay. Really not the best first impression for a restaurant - non-smiling, unfriendly hostess. Should do better

Great oysters happy hour. Food was good: sliders, meatballs, roasted cauliflower and kale. All food came except for hanger steak as they seem to have forgotten about the order. Server didn't even seem worried or willing to follow-up until our second request! We just watched our friend scarf down his dinner as we had a concert to catch. Servers were unapologetic.

Service is a bit too slow and the whole place seems a bit unorganized. The food is not bad and the servers are friendly with good attitudes. Just seem to be a bit understaffed and slow (with the food and refills) overall. They have a great happy hour. I would definitely return and recommend to go; but I would say it's average for a San Francisco restaurant in all aspects.

They do have $1.00 oysters during happy hour! As long as they keep that we will be back.

We went for brunch, which is a buffet. The food was very good and there was a wide selection! The ceviche was definately my favorite! The unlimited mimosas were also great served with freshly made juices (like guava, cranberry and more). Was a great deal for unlimited food and mimosas!

Good service and good. Tables are ideal for two. The line for a table wasn't well managed and as soon as our check was delivered we were interrupted by a woman who asked if she could have our table when we were done.

Terrific food and excellent service. Outstanding tempura avocado and excellent pizza. Also great was burrata and sickle pear. It is pretty noisy and the lighting could be a bit brighter. But overall a great experience particularly with a small group sharing.

Did you know that Delvin at the bar was named after Delvin Williams of 49er fame? We huddled down at the bar during a monsoon on a Thursday night, happy to be warm and dry, with a bottle of Delvin's recommended pinot noir. It didn't meet Burgundy standards but over all it drank well over all a worthwhile value. Delvin is a very good host and we followed his recommendations for dinner as well, which were excellent. This location is not as funky as District in Oakland with its large community tables but the menu is identical and that's what counts. This is a first class wine bar that you can go back to, but make a reservation. It is very popular and it was packed when we left at 7:20 for Cirque de Soleil.

My girlfriend and I did Sunday brunch here, and overall, it was a great experience! I'm not usually a fan of buffets, but I was into the food offered here. The mimosas were great, and the space was really open and aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely go back from brunch again!
