Ambience is great, friendly staff, very clean. Food is great quality and taste. Market fish perhaps on the pricey side+$45
Excellent selection of Vietnamese food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and attentive service. Convenient location and only steps from our hotel. We would definitely return.
Bar was way too loud and clashed with the gorgeous sophisticated interior of the restaurant. While our server was nice, the food was good, the ambience was unfortunately ruined thanks to a loud crowd that the manager or owner didn’t try to remediate.
Food was good.. we ordered several dishes to share and ate family-style. Our least favorite was the clay pot salmon. It had no flavor to it. But the curry dish, drunken noodle with beef, and others were very tasty. Great service! Friendly staff!
Will be back!
The area was easy to find if you've never been to avalon. The restaurant is so gorgeous and you'd expect you'll be paying a pretty penny but it was all affordable! The meals were delicious (Spicy Beef noodle Soup and the drunken noodles with shrimp). As well as the mango sticky rice. The staff were all nice and very respectful.
One of our dishes - Basil chicken was delish but our spring roll app and clay pot were subpar
Ok…so Thai food is mysterious. Some is very like Chinese and other is not! We went there for a birthday lunch. Asked the server for recommendations. None were thrilling. And then no Birthday dessert????? Rice and Mango is not going to make it as a birthday dessert! Also. …..lettuce wraps were strange. Calamari had a good flavor but strange. All the veggies had an odd flavor. And Chicken with Basil was ok but not great. Rice was white and that was it. Not thrilling.
It's a small space, which was full. Which was surprising in the Covid world
Great food! Quick service and really good value considering the beautiful location in The Avalon. I had the Pho Seafood and it was delicious. My girlfriend had the shrimp fried rice and said it was the best she ever had. All the ingredients tasted fresh and quality.
Not authentic Vietnamese cuisine. A lot of the food was very sugary. I'd been so excited to try this place an unfortunately was let down.
Nice family lunch.
We would probably request a table with more room between guests next time but other than that great experience
Bland food. Chicken was rubber. Rushed out. Highlight was it was near jennis.
Really enjoyed our first experience here. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning soon!
Been to District III a coupe of times now and the food is outstanding. The staff was friendly but the service was simply awful. Woefully understaffed when the restaurant filled up. We got our table at 630p, order was taken promptly and meal was brought promptly. As stated, all the food was excellent. However, we waited for about 30 mins for the server to come back to the table to check on us, refill drinks and pick up plates…it never happened. We had planned to order desert and another round of drinks but after 30 mins of waiting we simply gave up. I finally had to go to the bar and ask the extremely busy bartender for my check so I could pay and depart. The servers were working hard but there were only 3 on the floor, including bartender trying to help, and the place was packed. I know hiring people is difficult right now, but the way it was going, it easily could have been an hour before anyone could get free enough to check on our table. Disappointing service.
My family loves Vietnamese food and District III did not disappoint! The appetizers and entrees were depositors!
love the pad Thai and the lychee martini!! My favorites! Just remember to order entrees after you've eaten your appetizers. You'll feel rushed if you don't.
Food was great but , ambiance was not exciting and despite not busy service was not good at all
They didn’t bring stuff what we ask for didn’t even offer a dessert and just bring the check . They didn’t even put enough serving wear for our table .
So overall experience was ok
We were seated 1/2 hour after reservation time. Staff was pleasant but just busy and inattentive. Dinners didn’t come out at same time, forgot drinks, waters not refilled, cleanup and chairs being moved around us while still eating. The food was absolutely delicious but service needed some help.
Great food! Impecable service..
