Easter is right around the corner. We will be celebrating with a very special brunch. Reservations are highly recommended

We had seven people for lunch. All were happy with their food. We were given a quiet spot that was like a private dinning room which made conversation very easy. The waiter was very attentive and the cornbread before we ordered was a nice touch.
I had the beef tips and they were wonderful I also added bernaise sauce and it was the best. My son spilled his beer and 3 people were there to clean it up in an instance, very impressive.
Good food and service but very pricey - we ordered fruit medley cobbler, and it only had apples, misadvertised. Average entree $40.
family in town
Great service and excellent food. Our reservation was fulfilled on the dot, even on a very busy evening. Well Done!!!

Overall, I was pleased. I went for brunch and it was good. However, I wasn't truly impressed. Menu was underwhelming and the potatoes I had had an instant mashed texture. I would go again, but would choose my meal a little more wisely.
I love this restaurant! Our waiter was awesome & made our experience marvelous! Will definitely be returning!
We had a terrible experience at district chophouse. When we arrived, the greeter never actually spoke to me. She was leaning over her tablet, frantically clicking on her seating diagram. When I finally went up after about 10 minutes waiting for her to acknowledge me, she just nodded.
Or server would disappear for long periods of time without explanation. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and had no plates. We ended up seeing them down on the table in front of us. It was about 15 minutes before our waiter even noticed. I had French onion soup, went to the restroom, and came back to find it had been cleared without my permission. Steak was overcooked. Baked potato undercooked. Long periods of waiting between finishing and when our waiter would come check on us. We were routinely without anything to drink. I've had better service at red lobster.
I've been going to the District Chop House for 20 years to entertain my business clients and out of town guests. Exceptional restaurant: good food, pleasant ambiance, and outstanding customer service. However, for the first time, I was disappointed. Our waiter, TJ, was crude and unprofessional: spoke very loudly; my guest asked for mustard which only came after repeated requests; he seemed to throw down the beer mugs instead of placing them on the table; when I had finished my IPA he took the glass away without asking if I wanted a refill ( I had to chase him down to get another glass); at the end he just dropped the check without saying the customary greeting, "It was a pleasure serving you and have a good evening." His service was cold and mechanical. It was embarrassing. I thought I was at Denny's instead of the Chop House. I'm sure TJ is a good person, but he is misplaced. He needs to be re-trained.
Greatly enjoyed our meal. I took my wife for a "date night" and was not disappointed! Delicious food, excellent service and fun environment. We highly recommend and will come again.
Great for pre-Caps game get together
Jennifer, our Server , was wonderful, as was Don, the General Manager. We came to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday. The food was excellant.
If I lived nearby this would be one of my favorite places. All good.
Service was great and we were seated right away (we had 6 p.m. reservations. However, the service was pretty slow but it was during prime time on a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I order the main lobster tails (special). The flavor was great but it was severely overcooked. It took a lot of work to get out of the shell. I could not send back because we were time limited for an 8:00 show at the Mammoth Theatre, However, I remain a fan of DC Chophouse.
We were in town for the Atlantic 10 basketball tournament. Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was right around the corner from the arena. Great menu, comfortable environment, excellent service.
I always plan to dine at District Chophouse when in D.C. My favorite restaurant for many reasons. I'm never disappointed.
District Chophouse is a good restaurant. The food is very good. If you are looking for steaks cooked on the rare side you need to really specify. Someone at our table ordered a burger cooked rare and it came out very well done the first time and medium the second time. Management did address the issue.
Excellent food, excellent service. Accomodated last minute reservation. Great beer. Knowledgeable server.
Everything was great food and service
Always delicious! My friends come in town and this is their favorite place.
Ribeye was excellent. Colossal onion rings are really colossal! And good. Definitely noisy and busy on game nights.
My steak was overcooked; well instead of medium well
Great food and service for the price.
I have been to the District Chophouse many times through the years with large groups and have been very satisfied. During this visit, the service was good, but there seemed to be several people that were not satisfied with their meals. In particular, I had the worst steak I have ever received there. It was very chewy. Hopefully this was just an aberration.
Great meal, and great service!
Overall, great time. Service was good and we had fun trying all beers in the flight and we loved the appetizers. My one criticism is that for being a steakhouse, the steaks we ordered were okay but not great.
Never a disappointment. Excellent food, lovely ambiance.
The beef tenderloin was quite over-cooked with sauce that tasted like it came out of a packet and the baked potato was very dry, as if it has been cooked hours before and left sitting under a heating lamp for half the night.
Great experience. Server was very good and had a great personality.
Good home-breed beer and great cuts of steak. Service was a little slow and place was not that busy to account for it. But we were in no rush so not a big deal.
Filet was great!, too bright, could easily have made slight menus modifications and chose not to. I was a forward team looking for a place to host 30 and this place lost out unfortunately. They could be outstanding pretty easily by dimming lights and having some better staff protocols.
Very nice steakhouse and brewery in the center of town.
Excellent brunch- chicken waffles and steak & eggs— very attentive service, very quiet. We have been several times for brunch and enjoyed it every time.
We were in town for president’s weekend . Great meal enjoyed the conversation with Richard.
Valet parking was not available. Snow, missed the reservation time. Ate at the bar after finding a place to park.
Food was over cooked and service was slower then expected based on the fact that we we had said we had a show we were going to.
Weather was cold so I had to have my chicken piccata with garlic mashed potatoes. TJ took very good care of us (we had 4 grandkids in our party of 10 before going to Disney on Ice). Beer is brewed on premises.
