After Embarking on the journey to create Franks Burger Place in Wheaton with his two sons, Marlon and Derek Matamoros. A true gem in Wheaton! We often get multiple small plates to share. The house made harissa is amazing, as is the burrata and beef salad

This was the first time dining at District Bistro. It was outstanding! The staff was welcoming and the service was fantastic. Our server Gina was exceptional! Very nice and attentive. The food was wonderful. Loved the Beignets! We had the salmon with poached eggs and potatoes and french toast. Both spot on!! The Mimosas were pretty darn good too! Also tried the wild mushroom and goat cheese on toast - so YUMMY!! Definitely going back to try everything else!! WELCOME to Wheaton! We are glad to have another culinary delight in our area!!

We have been to District Bistro another time and it was fantastic! This time, just so so. Only having one highchair in the establishment threw a major wrench in our plans and was not ideal. Also, the service was really slow this time. Our server didn’t come to check on us once. However, the bistro burger I ordered was fantastic and I highly recommend. Although it wasn’t the best experience, we want to see this place do well and will be back.

District bistro continues to be uneven. Weekday night uncrowded, one busy server. Greasy burger, good fries, good calamari, poor beer selection, kitchen ignores requests

Every time we go to District Bistro both the service and the food are excellent. Wheaton is fortunate to have this relatively new restaurant.

I really like this spot. The food and atmosphere are lovely and the service is great. The fried chicken was fantastic and I loved their omelette as well. This is a great addition to Wheaton’s restaurant community.

We have been here twice now. We have enjoyed al the food. Vegan, fish, burger, salad, appetizers. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. It might be noisier later (we eat early). But it was pleasant when we were there. The bar tender will even make you a mocktail if you ask. Do make reservations. Parking is a breeze at the public garage across the street. Our only wish was that they would serve some bread without asking for it - especially with the entrees that have delicious sauces.

The varied, well-made, reasonably priced and attractively presented food at this gem of a restaurant should be experienced by anyone who considers themselves a discerning eater. It is something of an oasis in the franchised, impersonal, over-priced and humdrum dining scene that is all too common in Montgomery County, MD. The service is friendly and careful. Very much recommended.
