   The varied, well-made, reasonably priced and attractively presented food at this gem of a restaurant should be experienced by anyone who considers themselves a discerning eater. It is something of an oasis in the franchised, impersonal, over-priced and humdrum dining scene that is all too common in Montgomery County, MD. The service is friendly and careful. Very much recommended.

   Great drinks by Brandon. The meals were excellent from the lamb bolognese to the butternut squash, the food was terrific. Topped off with chocolate bread pudding. Good experience, we wil be back.

   Excellent dinner last night. Our party of 4 had charcuterie, calamari, and beet/burrata appetizers. Entrees of gnocchi/shortrib, duck breast, and ribeye steak were all great. (Side of potato gratin could use more seasoning or cheese.) Downtown food without the drive. Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant filled up fast and was full by 7 on Saturday night. I am puzzled by people who write negative reviews when they eat out for holidays (Valentine's day, Mother's day brunch, etc.) Those are total amateur hour days when customers are at their worst. It's unfair to judge restaurants harshly in all the chaos. They clearly never worked in a restaurant or just have no compassion for staff.

   We’re so lucky to have District Bistro in Wheaton. The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Whether for a casual meal or even a special occasion, this little spot is just right. Had the Chicken Shwarma Salad for lunch today and enjoyed every morsel.

   I was a little worried when I reserved a table for a Sat brunch and we arrived at 11 am to find ourselves the only ones there. I don't know why-- all the brunch dishes were unusually good.

   We had a really nice meal at District Bistro. It feels like being at home in many ways. The food was delicious, the service friendly and relaxed and the ambiance very informal.

   Terrific birthday dinner at District Bistro! creative dishes, perfectly seasoned, came out hot and very quickly. The cocktails were high quality and well balanced. It’s family run and you can tell the team cares about every aspect of the experience. That kind of service is getting hard to come by in the saturated MoCo food scene. We will be back ASAP

    We had a great lunch at District Bistro. The server was excellent - charming and attentive but not overbearing. We loved the beignets and the menu offered many good options for all. My shrimp and grits were delicious and all portion sizes were generous but not ridiculous. Our usual spot in Garrett Park was booked so we tried this. We will definitely come back. Well worth the quick trip to Wheaton for this gem. Also - easy parking across the street and prices were just a little below what we have become accustomed to paying.
