Loved the restaurant. The meatball appetizer, and our dinners were excellent. Our waiter, Nathaniel, was great and made our dining experience really enjoyable. Great evening!
Steak was undercooked , waiter was not experienced .
Our food and service were wonderful. Padgett did an outstanding job helping us with the entrees and made us feel very special. Will be back and will definitely recommend.
Parking is bad, only drawback. Otherwise great. Good cocktail bartender.
This was my first time to this spot on Jefferson in downtown Lexington. Initially, the lack of parking on a busy Friday evening was a frustration. However, once I sat down at the table it was all forgotten. Our server was friendly and helpful.
We ordered starters for dinner, which was more than ample. I had the She Crab Soup and the Ahi Bowl. The soup was lovely, but the Ahi Bowl was truly fantastic. The seasoning was divine. I normally will avoid the greens that are added to such things as I deem them more decorative than edible. However, each ingredient, seasoning and sauce complimented the others so beautifully, I ate every bite. I
t is worth noting that my companion had Poutine, which she said was delicious but was not adorned with the heavy gravy she was used to seeing in Canada. She also had the Mussels, and, without divulging her age, she has certainly been around long enough to have had her fair share.
Because the meal was so wonderful, we did indulge in dessert. I had a fantastic blueberry Ice cream, although they had a fancy name for it (some cross between ice cream and sorbet); my friend had the apple pie with buttermilk strawberry ice cream ("apple pie" also not technically correct). They were excellent portions and worth the additional calories.
I look forward to returning.
Staff was friendly. Service was great. Food was delicious
I love thus new space
I’ll be back soon
Had an amazing time at Distilled- service was great, food even better! Will definitely be back.
Service was excellent and the meal delicious.
We love the atmosphere, decor, service and the delicious meals. We come to Distilled approx 2-3 times a month and we are always pleased.
Food was such a treat. As visitors to Lexington we wanted a southern influence. Everything we tried was delicious and unique. Wine was very nice compliment.
She crab soup and fennel apple salad were excellent. Front porch seating is delightful, screened from street, rain or too much sun. Service was excellent: good suggestions, explanations, perfect wine recommendation. No pressure to "move" the table. We could relax, have fun, and be far enough away from other diners to feel at ease.
Awesome food and atmosphere!!!
First, the food was amazing. One of the best restaurant meals we’ve had in recent memory. Our server, Padgett, was very enthusiastic about the restaurant; I like it when the employees believe in their restaurant. He was great. The prices were good, too…we had two cocktails, an appetizer and two entrees for $105. Not bad. We’ll be back soon.
Great food and excellent service on the patio. Live music at an appropriate level for conversation. We'll be back.
Always great! One of our favorite restaurants.
Porcini dry rub filet is fabulous! Very welcoming staff and atmosphere!
Service was perfect, food outstanding (especially the She crab soup) and this all showed in the customers - one chap, from out of town, sitting at a table next to us went on and on about how good their food was and other customers were doing the same…finally he exclaimed, “doesn’t any body ever complain around here?”.
Excellent food and great service from Nathaniel.
Wanted to like the place. Location is great. The restored historic home is fantastic. However, the service was very slow…..took an hour for the main course to arrive.
The waitress apologized and said the kitchen staff was in a state of change….the dishwasher had been impresses into service as the cook.
The food was mediocre. I ordered the ahi tuna….it turned out to be tina bits in pasta. My daughter ordered a “gourmet hamburger.” Was greasy and flavorless.
Awesome service and great food
Love Distilled...Love Nate and Talia and all the servers, too. Will definitely return
This restaurant has become one of my absolute favorites places to eat. It has it all - great food and drinks, fabulous service, and relaxing ambiance. They have a she-crab bisque that is sublime. I am not aware of another restaurant in Lexington that has this on their menu. The tempura catfish appetizer is one of the best things I’ve ever had. If you have never tried this place and you like great food, I highly recommend it.
Last minute trip to tour bourbon distilleries…..stayed in Lexington and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Distilled on Jefferson! The food, ambiance and service were all out stands down we would definitely return!
Love the food at distilled. Their mussels are fantastic.
The food was very good snd service was even better.
The atmosphere is wonderful, the wait staff was friendly, the food was phenomenal. I had the special of the evening-wild caught sea bass. My husband had the pasta campanelle. We had the meatball as an appetizer. I had the Black Manhattan. Superb! It is quite pricey, but for a special occasion, totally worth it. It is now our second favorite restaurant.
Excellent food! While the place was full, we sat on the patio and had great service. Highly recommend.
Overall it was a nice experience. The wine sommelier was knowledgeable and provided tastings, the food was good, as well as the atmosphere. Parking was the only issue, somewhat.
It was super nice and the service was excellent!
Overall great experience, the service and food were very good. We felt the prices were a little high.
Mussels, wedge salad, barramundi all excellent. Highly recommend.
The best meal we've had for a long while. I had the scallop special and it was delicious. My partner had the Barramundi and loved it. The honey lavender ice cream for dessert was the perfect end to a perfect meal. We will be back.
Plan to be a regular
Wonderful evening!!!! Tracy is awesome!!!!
Wednesday nights are half-price wine (in bottles) night, so we enjoyed that benefit. But the food really is outstanding, if a little pricey. However, because it's such an enjoyable patio, with good service, and that unique ahi tuna appetizer, it's worth the price to us. My husband enjoyed the Carolina catfish; I had the fried chicken; our dinner companions had a hamburger & the ravioli---all delicious. Of course, the frites in duck fat are great! So, all-in-all, you can't lose with Distilled. I just hope they maintain their level of great food & service!
Great vibe, delicious food, wonderfully friendly and efficient service. Casey and Rain are both gems!
Great food and service. A new favorite for sure
We had a lovely evening at Distilled! We started with the meatball appetizer and mussels; they were both divine! Everyone loved their entrees and desert. Casey waited on us and was fantastic. Looking forward to going again soon!
Food was outstanding! The food quality is even better than it was at their original location. This will be our new favorite date night spot!
