Really enjoyed our meal, the surroundings and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.
I'm moving to the DC area this fall, and I can't wait to take my family and friends here when they visit!
Dirty Habit’s food was just okay but they kept the brunch drinks flowing and the service was good.
This restaurant is great no matter if you go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is always amazing and the service is outstanding.
100% recommend! The food was so delicious and they even had baked Alaska!! Favorites - Burratta (appetizer), octopus (appetizer) and sea bass with soy honey glaze over rice cake and spinich. Would not change a thing and will be back next time I'm in DC. Great for dinner with friends or co-workers.
One of the best restaurants in the area! The brussel sprouts are amazing!
The restaurant, service and food was amazing. My favorite spot in DC.
Brunch was amazing! I ordered the salmon omelette and it was the BEST!!
Super happy hour gathering place with unique and modern interior design. Food is delicious. The connecting Hotel Monaco is very elegant and beautiful.
Everything was good, the waitress was a little ditzy that was fine, however the bar ran out of cherry's so our Manhattens were naked. Seems odd that a "high" end restaurant would run out of condiments. Details are important! good food nice place, i'd go back again
Ribeye was perfect. Creamed spinach was even better. Great service from Alex!
Ambiance is great and hostess was friendly. The happy hour prices were on display front page of cocktail book, but hard to find regular non happy hour prices. We had a group of four and had to ask for more than three menus, had to share one drink book for all of us, and had to ask for more silverware even though the restaurant did not appear crowded. One of our appetizers fell out of the bowl as the server put it on the table and even though the manager was watching, no one offered to get us a replacement beignet or even apologize. A little expensive for a brunch and not impressed with the service, which is a bummer because we were looking forward to going there in the summer- the patio looks beautiful. Also the bathroom is very far away from the restaurant which is not super convenient.
Great food, friendly servers, very noisy
Expensive and not for quiet dining. But the food and service were both superb. The short ribs were the best I have ever had and the lentil dish much tastier than lentils have a right to be! Excellent. The waitress was great about serving us and getting us out to make our theater engagement. The ambiance is a bit noisy and you are seated just across from the kitchen, a short ways from the bar, so it wasn't that quiet, but you could still talk, so . . . Anyway, not cheap, but the food makes it all worth it.
This was our second visit in a week. Everything was spot on, with the exception of the shrimp PoBoy. Couldn’t find the shrimp. The rest of the brunch was great, especially the coffee. We will return, just no PoBoy.
I was welcomed with smiling faces for my 6:30 p.m. reservation. After confirming the number in my party, I was asked if I preferred a more quiet section of the restaurant. I was seated immediately and within minutes my server came to take my drink order! Let me describe to you what heaven tastes like: A Brussels Sprouts & Carrots appetizer & several Rice & Rose's cocktails! 😁 Highly recommended!
Excellent in every way!! Food was great and the staff made the dinner very enjoyable!!
Good food. Excellent service
Food was very good - was moderately priced for a hotel restaurant (still pricey - but not exorbitant.). The space was awesome - modern and industrial. Service was just ok.
Dirty habit was great! Our waiter was badass, very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The ambiance was very nice and the steak was amazing. all praise to Cthulhu!
Had a really great time here. Service was good and so was the food, but not amazing. The price was not worth the amount of food that's served. Also, the open kitchen next to the tables is not a good idea. You smell like food and cough from the smoke. Otherwise, it's a great spot, nice ambiance and overall good dinner and drinks place.
I read a number of reviews prior to choosing Dirty Habit. Many complained of slow service. I decided to make the reservation any how as it was convenient (staying in the same hotel) and if there was a delay in serving it wasn't going to be a big deal. There was NO delay in serving. Servers were very attentive and after a day in WDC I was a bit dehydrated but our water glasses were refilled promptly and frequently. I ordered the Guinea Hen Dumpling soup which was quite good and then for the main course the Chicken Breast with Roasted Cauliflower and Squash Puree -- It was AMAZING! My husband ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and reported the same for his meal. Portions were more than ample, hot upon service, and simply delicious. My only wish for the restaurant was a music choice that was a bit more subtle . I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning when the weather is warmer to enjoy a really terrific outdoor courtyard.
It’s been a while since we have been there and boy it has gotten better. It was great before, however it’s a wow now. The place looks great, but it’s the food that is the stand out. We will be back.
Veg options were incredible. Went with several small plates and was completely satisfied. Great for Valentine's day and date nights!
My husband brought me here for Valentine's dinner. This was our 4th time coming here and all times prior we enjoyed it very much. Not this time. Food was mediocre. The waitress was not on her A game. Screwed up and messed up my husband's dinner, he ordered a medium ribeye steak, instead raw short rib was brought out. I had rockfish and it was flavorless. I enjoyed my trio creme brulee than I did anything else. For $160 bucks, it wasn't worth it. Won't be back anymore. Held them to a higher standard based off of previous menus.
Went here for Valentine’s day dinner. Service was welcoming and prompt. Food was a dissapointment. I expected more of better food presentation and taste for this price point. Overall, three stars for the service and atmosphere. Food was meh....
We were lucky enough to go to dinner at Dirty Habit the night that they made a complete overall to the menu. To say that they hit it out of the park would be an understatement. The meal was absolutely fabulous. We started out with a few appetizers. We ended up getting two orders of the Cornish Hen dumplings because the kids, two 9 year olds, were completely unwilling to share since they were so good. Once I got to sample that dish I understood why the kids devoured them. Absolutely delicious, particularly with the whiskey-infused soy sauce. We also had the Tuna Tataki which was cooked perfectly, as well as the Sunchoke soup. Both were amazing and I highly recommend them. For the entree, I had the Chilean Seabass, while my wife had the Lentils given that she is a vegetarian. They were both gone very quickly. The Seabass was cooked so perfectly well that it was falling apart, while still retaining so much flavor. It sat on this really delicious rice cake and had a soft glaze. My daughter ordered the pork belly (she is definitely not a vegetarian) and told me it was one of the best things she's ever eaten. Honestly, the new menu blew me away. Phenomenal food and atmosphere. Looking forward to going back very soon.
Good food! Four stars because the service was a little slow during Sunday brunch, but overall I would still recommend and go back!
Our service was below average - not very attentive and would go missing at times. The food was delicious, but not sure if it was worth the price for the small portions. The cocktails were very well made and delicious - average prices for DC.
They serve extremely small plate Entrées at regular prices.
New menu is delicious. Great atmosphere and spot for drinks on the town. Abdul our service was amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly.
Great place to watch the Super Bowl. The beet salad was terrific. The burger is always good as are the truffle fries. Service was superb.
We were delayed being seated and the food took a long time to arrive. The waitress was friendly and competent and the food was good, however. I guess I'd advise you not to book this spot if you are in a hurry. Plus, the name is just awful. That's why I dinged them on the "ambience". Basically we booked it because it was open at the time we wanted and in a convenient location, despite the name. I mean, it's in a hotel! Families stay there. What possesses you to name a hotel restaurant that serves 3 meals a day something like "Dirty Habit"?
Unfortunately, we don't think we'd go back. Great service & drinks, so maybe just for drinks.
I had my birthday dinner there!! Very beautiful scenery and the food was good!! The only thing we had problem with was the poor service!! They only had one person to work a 14 people dinner party. As the birthday woman, my food came out 1 hour late but because it was late it was free. They must be better organized when it comes to working with a dinner party.
This place never disappoints. My go to when heading to Capone Arena
We arrived at 5:45 before going to the theater and took advantage of the happy hour items--well priced drinks and snack foods. The hostesses were very welcoming and seated us promptly. However, once at the table we waited a long time for the waitress to appear; we would have liked a cocktail while we looked over the menu. Everything took a while--the drinks, the food, waiting to ask for salt and pepper, etc. Our water glasses were nearly empty for a quite a while too. The food was pretty good--mushroom soup was very good, my fries were soggy and my companion's corn bread was good. We probably would have had a second drink and dessert but there wasn't time. The ambience is lively and modern. If the service was better I'd give it 4 stars. Based on other reviews this seems to be a problem here. If you're not pressed for time and you want a fun atmosphere, pretty good food, and good value I'd recommend it.
Super cute for drinks, food was regular. May be better when its not RW. Will be back for HH, but not for a meal.
The food was great! However the service took a while to happen. The ambience is good too!! However if you would like to have an intimate dinner maybe try another place it is really noisy!!
Atmosphere, food, decor and service all on point. Very convenient location inside of Hotel Monaco and accross the street from the Chinatown metro station. Restaurant week is the time to go to this place and other places in the area. You recieve a great deal on the price and the option you recieve for that price. During reataurant week the price fixed menu is $35 per person. I would recommend this location to my family and friends.
