The worse restaurant in DC. Don’t let the nice pics fool you. Very average food and the service was terrible. We go to lots of restaurants and I’m not trying to be picky at all but this place was extremely disappointing. It’s as if the wait staff didn’t want to be there! Kept reminding our waitress about our drinks. The food was mostly fired options. No one greeted us when we walked in. Overall not a good place for dates or even group gathering. The bar is just ok, that’s the only good thing I can say about this place.

Great service. Took a while to be seated. Which was confusing because there were multiple tables available.

The food was the star of the show! Those grilled oysters were fantastic and so too was the rest of our meal. Service, while professional, was rather slow, e.g., wine late for the meal. The ambiance is just as advertised - had a late 80s Eurovibe and very dark, but the the tables are nice, seats comfortable, staff very friendly.

I work locally and enjoy coming here for lunch. Dirty Habit is a little gem inside the Monaco that is normally not super busy for lunch.

Great place for drinks apps...Food was presented well, however food was underwhelming and bland. The portion sizes were laughably small.

Not vegetarian friendly or accommodating. Asked the waiter what was vegetarian and was told the menu changes and there was no entree now, so fries. We spent over 100 dollars here-was asked to leave when I brought in a sandwich from elsewhere so I could eat dinner. Really disappointing.

Really? Would be nice if they could at least deliver the dishes ordered. Bottom line horrible service time and again.

Also nice is the waitresses not so obese, lest I lose my appetite.

The bartender was great. Revamped outdoor space aims for more sophistication, but is the same , if not worse. The new Indoor dining area is nice, despite a slightly over-neurotic manager. Unfortunately, the food is very heavy on deep fried. In the age of health consciousness it seems odd. I am not suggesting carrots and lettuce, but having that many items deep fried with no alternatives (I asked) seems odd. Overall, my impression is that they’re trying too hard to be. It’s hip and different from the old version - a recipe for failure . Won’t be back.

It was quiet and kid friendly. Nice ambiance and very helpful staff. Servers were polite, friendly and attentive. Most of the dishes are upscale tapas, we ordered 5 or 6 for the four of us. We would enjoy going back.

The ambiance is very modern, sexy, and chic. So when I saw that they had a brunch I knew it was on...I just hope they had reservations for the time-frame we were vying for. To my surprise they had the reservations and I was elated!

So, everybody meets a Dirty Habit and If you've never been then it's kind of hard to find (something I enjoy. lol) , but we were promptly seated. Our Server David was nothing short of amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and one of my friends had a Birthday and he made sure to make her birthday very memorable at Dirty Habit.

Appetizer wise we had the Truffle Fries and the Donuts. Both were pretty good. They really know how to make good truffle fries. I was pleased, because the last few places I have been with truffle fries has left me underwhelmed.

I decided on going with the Lobster Poutine and boy am I glad I did. I want to thank Yelp for the reviews as well as David. When they mentioned this is a hearty meal, they are not lying. You get your money's worth and it has pretty decent portions of Lobster. The majority of the group ordered this dish and everybody seemed to enjoy it. One other person ordered the Burger and mentioned it was really good as well.

I have to mention the bottomless Mimosas ( or punch deal). It was amazing. The punch of the day was a bourbon with lemon juice top with Prosecco. I did not even touch the mimosas, the punches had me feeling good. The manager I believe his name was JoJo (forgive me if i'm wrong, he's not hard to miss. It's the bald guy dressed really nice) was attentive and came over and introduced himself and gave us a little history about his background. Overall the service + food was amazing. I can definitely see myself adding Dirty Habit to my Brunch line-up.

Absolutely loved the decor. It's sexy, dark, and upscale. Enjoyed the cocktails. Food was subpar. Expected so much from the menu, but it didn't satisfy me or my friends, seemed to miss the mark. Would come here for cool and romantic vibe and cocktails.

My friend and I went to Dirty Habit pre theater and really had a delightful meal of small plates. The cocktails were unique without being kitchy, and were of good quality. For the going prices in DC, the value was good. The decor is fun. We would like to come back on a non-rainy day to try the courtyard bar and the fireplace!!

I read great reviews for brunch at DH so I was really looking forward to coming. While service was friendly and food orders were correct (nothing too special on the menu), it took about 10 minutes to get refills on bottomless drinks. Since I had organized the brunch, several people in my group complained to me that they did not think it was worth the price to wait. I personally had 5 drinks in just over 2 hours. That's about half an hour for every drink. Not good at all when you are paying for bottomless, and when you can go to another restaurant (Vinoteca, e.g.) that will set a pitcher at the table so guests don't sit with empty drinks. The drinks were also not very alcoholic, and a few of my friends complained they were going home sober. Take that for what it's worth :)

Jojo the manager saved the experience he was so warm and inviting and welcoming to our 2 Tots. He listened to our concerns (which were minor) and his customer service was stellar. We had a nice seating area and It was my birthday food and drinks were amazing .I love kimpton hotels and the ambiance. I would go there for for any meal and happy hour. Def will be my go to for upscale outings.

Beautiful restaurant -can't beat the ambience. Service is a little slow and good is nothing outstanding but depending on the occasion is good enough for most guests. This is my second trip on a Sunday brunch so not sure what dinner or other nights are like.

My lobster and shrimp poutine (brunch) was lovely but was mostly potatoes... Great coffee. Great bloody marys but a bit on the small side. Omelette was very very disappointing. Not at all fluffy and a bit skimpy. I can make a much better one myself and I'm no chef... Nice ambiance -- good service for the most part but it seems like everyone disappeared at the end (once things slowed)-- when it came to paying up plus they brought us the wrong toast and when we asked they said they gave us that because they ran out of what we ordered when surely they should have told us. They could use a bit more professionalism for such a posh spot..

The food was really incredible. We really enjoyed the experience. It was nice to be able to try several different items off the menu. It just was very pricy for the amount of food received. 19 dollars for 2 bites of halibut seems off the mark. The specialty drinks are very small as well paying 14 dollars for that little amount of alcohol was shocking. Overall we enjoyed our time there but the bill was 110 bucks for 2 people, two drinks and not alot of food. I am not inclined to go back. I would go back for a post show drink...but not dinner. Maybe that's what they intend.

Lively place, great décor, huge outdoor space with 2 fire pits. Bar tenders were wonderful, attentive and friendly. One of them was designing a new drink for the menu and gave us samples to get out opinions (interesting smoky tequila drink). The other bar tender created a drink based on what I wanted (sometimes you don't have a specific drink in mind, you just have a taste for something). Food (small plates) on the other hand was disappointing, especially for this price point. The food was just standard tastes; nothing to write home about.

To wrap it up - I'd definitely plan on going back for after-work drinks with friends, but I will not stay for dinner.

We've dined at majority of the nicer/trendy restaurants in DC and I can't recall a restaurant with smaller portions for the size. Drinks and entrees are really expensive for what you pay (I've been to Komi, Citizen, etc...). Would totally avoid unless you're just going for HH. BTW service really sucked too.
