Hotel restaurants are hit or miss, but this one I would recommend even if you are staying somewhere else. Food is delicious and well prepared, with a nice choice of entrees. I especially recommend the Arctic Char and Chicken. It’s a long, narrow restaurant, so the ambience is a little weird, but would definitely recommend
When my guest and I arrived our table wasn't ready so the hostess offered us a glass of champagne and showed us to the lobby area to be seated. Our server was fantastic she was extremely knowledgeable about the drink menu. The food was delicious and hot when it came out. I have nothing bad to say about my experience. I will definitely be back.
When I’m in DC it’s a must on Sunday’s for brunch. Service and the food was AMAZING. My girlfriend and I shared a burger and the skirt steak ❤️
Great after work hang for a drink or dinner. Outside is super cool and pet friendly.
Excellent. Chris did a great job. Burger was amazing. Great decor. Hostess was gracious, chef’s team was terrific.
Wonderful service and the food and drinks were excellent! Loved the space!
Reservation was made to celebrate girlfriend’s 25th birthday. I am mixed on how to feel with overall experience because between the host and waitress there was no communication made or at least none that I could tell that reservation was for birthday as once we were seated was asked if we were celebrating anything in particular leaving my girlfriend to wonder if I had even shared information. That being said, girlfriend was given a dessert with happy birthday written out, but left to wonder had waitress not ask when being seated if she would have received one despite me sharing information during reservation details. While our waitress was very nice and attentive we had a tough time hearing hear from time to time as her volume when speaking was rather low for the moderate noise level in restaurant. The food (Appetizer: Grilled Octopus, Entrees: Duck Duo & Prime Ribeye) were good but not great. The highlight of the evening were the cocktails and the reason we would come back.
We selected this restaurant for a meal before a performance at Sidney Harmon Hall around the corner. The web site listed a pre-theater special. That's why we went there as opposed to others in the area. When we were seated, we asked about the special and the server told us it was only good before 6pm. I found no such limitation on their web site. We stayed because it was too much trouble and too late to go elsewhere. Food, ambiance and service were fine but overpriced even for this area. We could have raised a fuss, but did not. Note to management: If you intend such limitations, be sure to state them on your web site.
An outstanding dining experience all the way around.
Great experience for brunch and looking forward to visiting again tomorrow evening.
Outstanding Restaurant! I stayed at the Monaco and used OpenTable for recommendations, and I'm so glad Dirty Habit was one of the first suggestions. It's a fun, lively restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere is inviting and modern and the service and food are incredible. I asked my server for recommendations, and he said the pork chop was the best in DC. He was not kidding. It was truly exceptional, as was the bottle of wine he recommended. It paired perfectly.
The meat was tender and succulent, served with a cremini puree that really added a great depth of flavor. The cocktails were great and the bourbon selection was spot-on. My server was fantastic, always there when I need something, never intrusive and had great knowledge of the menu.
Staying at the hotel, I also went for breakfast and had a top-notch meal. I will definitely dine here again next time I'm in DC. Thank you for a great experience!
Best place for business meetings. The food and service is outstanding.
Helpful, gracious service. Pleasant outdoor seating. Nice cocktail selection. Calamari & lentil dishes were interesting & well-prepared. Dessert was disappointing with nondescript creme burlle.
Gorgeous space, great service, amazing food and cocktails. Love it!
Everything was fab! My steak was the best I’ve had for a long time. Great place, would highly recommend.
Not a good meal. Strange menu for a hotel . Unusual food hamburgers with eggs on top. Grilled calamari
Very tough. Fish over cooked and sauce overwhelmed fish. Not a good place to eat.
I love this location for dinner and happy hour so I thought I would give brunch a try. The hostess was lovely and very cordial. Our service was not the best once we placed our order. We had to ask for refills quite a few times and also salt and pepper. I was also disappointed that there was a black hair in my egg whites, but I did not say anything as I know these things sometime happen. I will be back again for happy hour but not brunch anymore.
The restaurant was louder than what I expected. Definitely has more of an upbeat bar code versus a sit-down dinner place. Nonetheless, the food was amazing! Some of the best seafood I’ve had in DC.
This is the best place in DC to have a great lunch with the best service.
I made a note that we were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. I was hoping for a better table then being sat in the bar next to a service station. The food was nothing special.
Excellent service by Kelly. Frisée salad was great. Burger was even better.
Amazing service. Host were friendly and accommodating to our needs. I love the decor and ambiance and the food was pretty good. Drinks were just ok. I would definitely come back here!
Great decor and aesthetic but if you want to sit outside for brunch you are on your own. I liked the venue though and the bartender was really nice. The food options are just okay.
Excellent house salad. The charcuterie was underwhelming. Wonderful service. I would come back for a burger and truffled fritte.
Very nice. I met a friend for lunch during restaurant week. The ambiance is completely different from when the place was called Ponte. Service was good. Food was good. It's a great location and they have valet parking which is convenient. Definitely recommend.
Restaurant week during the week had a brunch menu. Overall ok. The items we wanted had a surcharge. Most rememberable from the menu we had was the tomato soup. Very good. Nice probably for happy hour. Nice ambience.
Visited during restaurant week and it was an amazing pairing selection. My partner and I loved every bite!
I really wanted to love everything about this place but our service was so terrible. We went for brunch just the three of us but we were never given a cocktail menu so when the waitress finally came to take our orders we already had our food orders ready so we just ordered standard mimosas and a Bloody Mary to make the process faster since the waitress didn’t seem to come around too often. Two of us got our drinks with the appetizer but one person didn’t get their mimosa until after we asked about it when the entree came. On multiple occasions we were sitting with empty glasses and no water with our meals but no one was even walking through our section to flag down to ask for refills. When we got our desserts one of the orders was completely the wrong thing. What we thought would be a quick brunch since we had such a small group ended up taking 2.5 hours. Beautiful atmosphere but I don’t know if I’ll be returning.
We had to wait for our food for very long time. Our server wouldn't even wait for a second to look up the menu for last time. We had keep asking to pour us some water. Two other tables who came in way later then us were served before us, our food was given to the other table. People like us with little children shouldn't be waiting that long. By the time our food arrived our kids started getting fussy and crying because they were all hungry. Our check and the list of items ordered had 2 different amounts. Overall we were very embarrassed in front of our guests. Next time will think before taking anyone there.
We made our reservation during Restaurant Week as we had been eyeing it for quite sometime. The service was attentive, food was fabulous and the only thing we did not like was having to go one floor up to the restroom
Dirty Habit exceeded every expectation I had. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was very polite and hospitable, the ambiance and decor was beautiful and the food was AMAZING. Definitely worth every penny spent and I will be back again.
Loved the food options and I also loved that they paired some drinks to go with the menu as well. Have already told my friends and colleagues to go!
Really impressed with the food and service. I had been to Poste, it’s predecessor in the Hotel Monaco. This has it beat. Had spicy seafood pasta-outstanding. An hour later my husband is still talking about how good the pork loin was. Going back!
We went for Restaurant Week and the dinner was very good, though the appetizer was quite small. The drinks were okay, but not worth the price (they were quite small). The waiter was very friendly, but a little too involved - he would come over and explain the course to us even though we a) ordered it and b) he explained it to us as we made the order. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and the food was good. I'm not sure we'd go back on a regular night, but would definitely go back for Restaurant Week.
Food was very average, and also very overpriced. Cocktails were nice.
We had someone with food allergies to nuts and though we alerted the waiter of these allergies and asked if specific foods had nuts, he still served her food with nuts. Luckily we saw it before she ate anything. Additionally the service was slow in general and it was not very crowded at all.
Food took over an hour to come out (4 x brunch orders!) and it was just ok, not great. Service was ok, we had to keep asking for our water to be refilled. Not all the meals came out at once. Ambience of the restaurant is really nice but I wouldn’t recommend for food, maybe come back for drinks.
I went for restaurant week and the experience was amazing!! The food was so tasty but avoid the Koi drink as its very small and expensive.
The Dirty Habit restaurant was a treasure in a haystack. We came earlier than our reservation time. The host accommodated us. The atmosphere was energetic. Food was excellent; flavors of numerous fruit and vegetables exploded in my mouth. We had the three course meals and shared every plate. We tried the ceviche, fried pork belly, black sea bass, scallops, tiramisu, and crème Brule. Everything was wonderful, however the sea bass was extremely tasty. I highly recommend.
As always another amazing dining experience. Service was exquisite.
