It’s a nice vibe, a nice night out for drinks on a Friday and Saturday night. It’s good for Happy Hour as well. But the food gets a C. My scallops had watery bubbles on it like they put foam on it. I lost my appetite. It wasn’t well presented so didn’t look appetizing, but it tasted okay. The food doesn’t match the ambiance and quality the restaurant portrays. They need to do a complete food make over, not the menu, just the way the food is presented.
Mentioned Garlic allergy to waiter.
Although we were told the dish did not contain garlic, it did!
Spent the following night in bad pain.
Cheese board smelled BAD small not worth 20 bucks and the food took forever almost an hour, even though they said it would be quick almost missed our show and when I asked where it was they offered to cancel our dinner after waiting 45 minutes ridiculous
Place was too loud.
Beautiful surroundings. Very trendy, good food and attentive service. The Hotel Monaco next door is gorgeous with nice art and design! Loved the experience overall.
Our server was attentive and professional, and made our meal enjoyable.
The service was excellent. The food was good but the octopus
Fabulous breakfast. Lovely unique environment, incredibly attentive staff, food was great with special touches like homemade yogurt. Would return ins heartbeat located in the beautiful and conveniently located hotel Monaco.
Dirty habit is my favorite spot in DC to hang out with friends. The cocktails and food are amazing and easily shareable.
Amazing atmosphere. Very well-designed. Perfect for bringing your out-of-town friends and family visiting D.C. The food is so-so. They don't have a particularly impressive menu or signature dish, but it's solid, delicious food. That lack of above-average menu is my reason for not giving the restaurant five stars.
Girls night with a few cocktails! Great place to hang out for happy hour!
Awesome spot, great food!
Great brunch spot - go for the unlimited punch! Beautiful restaurant too.
Food portion is small. Price is not bad.
Very limited food option.
Perfect for date night or girls night out! Amy was awesome. The food was great. We will be back.
Thank you to the host who got a seat after we mixed up our reservation time this evening! We were enjoying a cocktail by the bar and was very appreciative to be reseated. Food was great!
Dirty habit always provides an amazing level of service. My group was there for a surprise birthday dinner, and the staff ensured that everything went as planned and took great care of us. Definitely one of my favorite spots in DC.
Amazing and beyond expectations! The octopus appetizer was only surpassed by the duck and sea bass main courses, which was then surpassed by the baked Alaska! Service was terrific and the design was interesting- My only gripe was that I wish that there was an oaky chardonnay on the list.
But I will live- the champagne was a great substitute!
Belated Birthday Gift to myself! Service and ambiance were great!
Nice ambient but food is terrible. We had fries and eggs which were undercooked
Beautiful ambiance, great tasting food, and service to match! Do yourself a favor and go!
Had a great time celebrating ninth anniversary with the wife. Made a note of the occasion in the app and they not only had a few different people over to say congratulations they comped our drinks and gave us a dessert to go. Our server Darryl was excellent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Fun place to go right in the heart of DC and convenient to just about everything. I recommend.
Food was frankly boring bland and otherwise unremarkable.
Pleasantly surprised by the brunch options all day, will definitely be returning and the arugula salad and shrimp was delicious. Oh and the truffle fries were terrific as well!
Wonderful ambience, great service. Food was good!
On a recommendation of my daughter I decided to take my cousin to Dirty Habit, the food was so good she Facebook family and friends that the food was “exquisite” and I ditto that. We will be back.
Omg great experience.. food and service 5 stars plus
This must be the most beautiful contemporary space in DC. Softly but well lit, dark comfortable furniture with clean elegant lines. Backlit bar. Sophisticated not pretentious. But. The food over promises what it can deliver. I've never seen a duck breast so over done it was pure white. The sauce was just so so. The service was friendly and enthusiastic but our wine was delivered well after our appetizers were done. The charcuterie plate was great but crisp flat bread was an eccentric choice to serve it with. Nothing was bad, but properly handled they could have been so much better. Possibly Friday evening during happy hour is not an optimal time to sample the restaurant and the hundreds of happy customers on the patio might have a more generous assessment. We will see. But as it stands, only the space was completely satisfying, the food and service did not justify their top tier prices. But they so obviously could, with better timing and a bit of tweaking in the kitchen.
Service was outstanding! Food continues to be creative and delicious. Love the ambiance and ability to actually have a conversation with table mates!
If you are looking for a foodie experience, this is the place to go. Drinks and service was amazing.
it was a great space and location for a work happy hours.
We were pleasantly surprised about the Asian influences on some of the dishes. The fluke and wagyu tartare was amazing. I highly recommend this venue to other foodies. It was a culinary experience. Looking forward to coming back.
The bar was very vibrant. Noise level was pretty high but tolerable. The restaurant was very comfortable and menu was great. We enjoyed two wonderful appetizers - roasted beets and the rare tuna on toast.
The Sea bass was delicious and the burger very good. We had a great Chardonnay from California.
Noise level in the dining room was conducive to conversation.
We didn’t have dessert.
All in all - great evening.
Very relaxing and just the place that you can just let your hair down
Realmente increíble! La comida deliciosa, el pato espectacular!
They only offer a brunch menu during the lunch hour. Menu was somewhat limited.
Nice environment, good fusion food, excellent service!
Asked for a quiet table and were seated at a high top in the bar next to a very busy kitchen. My chair had a broken back so couldn't lean on the back. Food good. Really felt rushed and wasting their time.
After all "they had seven events" that evening. Wouldn't care to repeat the dining experience.
Excellent service. Great recommendations. Roasted carrots and sprouts was extremely good. Ribeye was perfect. Peas and bacon—you can’t go wrong with that!
Word of mouth is the best form of advertising, as out of towners, we received a recommendation to visit Dirty Habit. The archaic exterior had us fooled, as our eyes gazed upon the modern industrial interior. Our hostess accommodated us with us interior seating, paired with a high open roof. The food was really good, with the exception of the beignets. The chocolate filling was the best part. I am sure it's because our family compared it to the Cafe Du Monde beignets. Emil was amazing, and ensured we were comfortable and well fed, even as the kitchen closed. I definitely intend on visiting the next time I'm in DC.
