Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Service was great, everything was freshly made. Pani puri was our favourite. Looking forward to come back. Couldn’t manage to eat all the food we definitely over ordered, the meat was extremely soft from starters to main. Staff were so pleasant. Restaurant was super clean. I’m surprised it wasn’t more busy for a Saturday evening! Will be returning!

We knew about this restaurant as we had been to the one in Somerset House which was fabulous. Came to Milton Keynes for a birthday weekend so knew we had to go to this restaurant. The food did not disappoint it was delicious . The service was ok . We ordered the Thalli but the waiter just put them down didn’t say what each dish was . Then came to clear away twice before we had finished. One waiter came back to ask if the spice level was ok . Drinks were a long time coming and we were never asked if we wanted any more. I would go again for the food if we were ever in Milton Keynes but for £150 I would expect a bit better service

Food was very good, particularly enjoyed the Samosa chaat blast starter. The meat thali main was also very tasty.

Our experience was brilliant. The food was delicious, well cooked and presented beautifully. All the staff were great and very knowledgeable. We would certainly go again

Arrived early evening on a sunny day so it was not busy. I would suggest using privacy film for the upper parts of the windows as half the table was blinded by sun. It would be a shame to use blinds for the few days of sun in the UK, altho the plants were looking a little parched. Service was attentive. Plates arrived soon after ordering, and were hot. Mains came out some 10 minutes later and then at least 5 more minutes for the rice to arrive. Didn't understand why the food didn't come out all together as it was quiet. The curries were nice, but not enough if you have are hungry. The portions of rice made up for it, I guess. I was told that this is a celebrity chef, but I am not sure I would recommend on value alone.

I think the special request was ignored and I wonder whether anyone bothered to read or accommodate it. The waiter or the drinks runner were not well dressed and pretty much lousy in his attire and grooming and hardly anybody smiled.

The food here is always exceptional. Service is great and it’s good value - I don’t know why it’s not loads busier.
