The most prominent building in the heart of historic downtown Hot Springs National Park, the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, is an American treasure. The Arlington has all of the ambiance and hospitality of a traditional, grand old Southern hotel.
Original to the 1924 structure, the Venetian Dining Room is the place to see and be seen, famous for its Friday Night Seafood Buffet and award-winning Sunday Brunch. Breakfast is also served in the dining room Thursday - Sunday, no reservations needed.
Prime Time in the Fountain Room features Prime Rib carved table-side, along with other exquisite appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts. Prime Time is fine dining at it's best! We also offer private valet service for our Prime Time guests.

    Some of the food wasnt seasoned well. Only veggie coice besides greens beans was a sld. The shrimp, oysters and fruit were great, also enjoyed the snapper. The others were dry and unseasoned. The desserts stayed out on the table since opening were fried out, except the pecan pie was very good. Our server, Olivia, was THE BEST. Very friendly, attentive and efficient As I feel everyone should try things for themselves, I would still like to recommend it

    Food greatly changed since my visits in years past. Very limited buffet and service is awful. Awful. Unresponsive waiters. Poor!!!! Way over priced and rated.

    Overall a nice visit. Live music was very enjoyable. Caesar salad had a lot of flavor. Had to ask for bread twice, it never arrived. The prime rib was exceptional, had to ask for horseradish. Ordered "loaded" baked potato, received baked potato sliced open with nothing on it, not even butter or anything on the side. Waiter tried to tell us that is how it comes. Received a sweet wine after ordering a dry Chardonnay. The creamed spinach was just cooked spinach with a bit of shaved parmesan on top, did not eat it.

    The waiters are very unresponsive. Long waits. Breakfast buffet very poor. Bacon was not crisp, biscuits were cold. No jellies. Waited and waited for coffee. No refills and waiter gone again. Only small chicken piece and macaroni, rice, carved roast beef but no potatoes etc. all so poor. Ate there years before and big disappointment for $40. Service at dinner too was poor. I got nauseated from the salmon.

    We were excited when we saw the sign for Seafood buffet for only $30. However, to our surprise, theirbuffet left so much to be desired. Where should I start? First, the service from our waitstaff was not inviting nor welcoming. His name was Hank. Not rude per se but definitely not overly friendly. Secondly, the ambiance of the dining room was nice and the noise level was ok as the dining room is very close to the bar in which someone was celebrating a birthday so we could hear all the celebratory singing, etc. Thirdly, the food..oh goodness! Nothing on thier buffet was hot nor even room temperature (it was 80 degrees) even the fried food was cold! Very disappointed! Would not recommend and will not return! Visited June 30th to July 2, 2023.

    Food was good but they ran out of certain dishes and didn’t refill while I was there. They needed more fruit and cheese options. The cheese was not very good quality and tasted like velveeta. I would go back but not on a holiday.

    I’m usually not into buffets but the quality of the Friday Night Seafood Buffet was better than expected with a large variety of dishes. Staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, an enjoyable evening!

    The shrimp cocktail and catfish were great. The salmon, trout and snapper were over cooked. I hate giving a bad review because it’s an absolutely beautiful dining room. I hope that this is taken constructively and not personally.

    Brunch for Mother's Day was delicious! We had lovely table for two with view outside of magnolia trees. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Buffet had Cornish hens, salmon, prime rib and cheese tray with platter of fresh fruit and many desserts.

    Was really displeased with the choices and variety of food for being Mother’s Day. I felt the have a better selection on a normal day Buffett then they did for the special occasion. Lesson learned and will not be attending for this day and paying this price when I can enjoy a better breakfast with better choices at a Golden Coral for half the price.

    The description of the Mothers Day Brunch that I received in my email did NOT do the cuisine justice—you had to be there! The prime rib was SUCCULENT—you could cut it with a butter knife. My daughter and I VERY much enjoyed the vocalist/pianist/guitarist, which added to the overall romantic ambiance. For the price, the buffet was TOPNOTCH! Overall, my first ever Mothers Day Brunch at the Arlington was an AMAZING experience!

    Lots and lots of choices. Some of the meat dishes were salty not spicy. Fish was heavily sugared not delicately. Some of the dessert cakes were dry. So it was a hit and miss on those things that were fabulous and those things that were so and so. Service was top drawer. Wait staff was incredibly attentive. Spread was incredible. Elegant table settings.

    The food was good but not exceptional. The service was extremely poor. We had trouble getting drinks refilled and had very little attention. It was very noisy and we had trouble having a conversation. Lines for specialty items were long and many people just gave up. Service for everything was slow. For the price I would choose somewhere else the next time.

    My husband, Kent and I were here for Easter Brunch. The food was delicious and our server was so gracious and attentive! We were glad to get a reservation and felt like this brunch was well worth the money! The staff seemed to operate seamlessly and the manager came out to greet the customers, which is a major plus in our books! We can’t wait to go back again, as well as try the other weekend meals!     Dinner to celebrate our childrens' birthdays and everything from ambience to service and food was fantastic. We all had the prime rib served tableside and though menu said 8 oz., each cut was almost twice that as we all took some home. We highly recommend the Fountain Room on Saturday nights!!

    This was the third time we have eaten the Seafood Buffet. Times 1 and 2 were great. This last time, every main dish was cold and unappetizing looking. Cold table and deserts were fine. Very disappointing, as we always look forward to the Arkansas Derby and eating the Seafood Buffet at the Arlington.

    Despite using OpenTable to reserve upon arrival they didn't seem to be aware of our reservation. We were met with blank stares. They didn't prepare my request for my partner and I to have a celebration drink ready either. For $50/plate we were treated to long waiting for just bread (45 minutes), a very quiet room to the point of killing our vibe and conversation, the food was more like a $10 plate with salad that sat on a plate all day & when we got the final entree it was burned. Of course after an hour of waiting and trying to kindly say it's ok, suddenly spending $100 wasn't worth it. Our hushed whisper to one another was that it had a high price so it might really be worth the wait. The staff repeatedly seemed more interested in breaking down the tables and rushing us out instead of just serving us. I wish when the manager came by I was less reserved but I felt 100% awkward given the price tag. If you are going to charge $50/plate have five star service. That means less then 45 minutes between courses, with fresh food and enough staff to cater to all present. It also means not breaking down service while guests are present and the restaurant isn't closed. You may have stopped taking seats but we were there and felt rushed out. Have music as well even if the live singer is leaving have a speaker and play something. This was an awkward experience that shut down our whole mood at the end of our stay with the resort. Sort your staff out, if they aren't paid enough and they act this way pay better, and if you want to charge $42 for pork it better not be burnt. It was clear your team wasn't a team and your service was a burden instead of an experience or even a meal.

    Olivia was best ever. Allowed us to sit in upper level even when hostess told us we could not. Hostess was grouchy and almost rude. Need nice larger wine glasses. We ordered bottle of wine. Glasses were more like whiskey sour glasses. Guy was constantly rolling noisy cart with dishes.
