The Virginia Court Hotel has created The Dining Room restaurant in Cromer which offers ‘A Taste of Norfolk’, with local farm and sea produce in both our evening and breakfast menus. Our Cromer restaurant serves evening meals between 6.00pm and 8.30pm and is open to residents and non residents who want to enjoy eating out in Cromer in a warm friendly bistro style restaurant. Depending on the time of year and numbers, we use the mirrored dining room or the main dining room. Either way you’ll enjoy great food and friendly professional service in a beautifully decorated calming environment. Our chef has an enviable local reputation recreating classic English dishes using fresh locally sourced produce. Our menus change on a regular basis but always includes fresh Cromer Crab when in season and available.

Absolutely wonderful meal. Top notch and great selection for my wife who needed gluten free choices. Great service and lovely delicious food. We’ll be back, tomorrow in fact with more of our family! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I enjoyed my visit for evening dinner. The food and the portions were very good. I thought the drinks were very expensive. I ordered 2 half pint shandies but because there was no draught beer/lemonade available 2 separate bottles of beer and lemonade mixer was used at the cost of £5.75 which I considered a high price. Overall the venue, service and food were very acceptable and I will definitely visit again. Maybe order water next time!
