   This is a real restaurant with creative approaches to Steak House fare. Not just an AC hotel restaurant. Interesting bar and nice lounges as well. Dancing around the corner on weekends. They had light live jazz trio that were solid. Solid Prix Fixe meno as well. View is the ocean - could really be nice outside of winter. Comfortable banquettes tiered on different levals all facing toward the ocean. Dinner packages with Chelsea Hotel.

   The food was exceptional! The service was not as great. Although I will say that they seated a party of 20 shortly before our table was ready. They had a wonderful wine list and a deal for 1/2 off a bottle of wine for staying at the hotel. It was my second time dining there and I would definitely go back again.

   Beautiful restaraunt, love the vibe of The Chelsea, different from other casino hotels/restaraunts...took husband overnight for birthday, had a late dinner, we both got the filet-delicious and done perfectly as we asked, melted in your mouth, also got the whipped potatoes, they were equally as delicious , split the caesar salad, good, but needed more dressing, 2nd time dining here and was pleased both times. Highly recommended !

   "I love the retro yet modern feel this supper club gives. This was the romantic evening I was seeking. The mood was set by the piano, the bass, and the meloudias voice of the singers. Because this is a steakhouse it was only fitting that we ordered steak & I am so glad we did. I ordered the 10 oz filet and my fiancee ordered the bone in Ribeye. Neither disappointed. Every bite better than the previous one. I reccommmend adding the musrooms to your steak and wouldn't hurt to have the truffle mac & cheese. All of the flavors made for an amazing dinner. The waitstaff was stuffy, impersonal,& not friendly or suggestive. They did their job & the food arrived in a timely manner they just didn't seem to enjoy themselves. I will definitely return.

   Great atmosphere! The food was great! Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts with bacon. Ask to sit at the tables with the big, white couches.

   The atmosphere and decor was great. I heard great things about this place, but the food was okay. My food was under cooked and had no flavor.

   Went here for our anniversary dinner on Friday night and had a wonderful time! It wasn't crowded (at 8 pm on Friday night we expected more of a crowd, but didn't mind). I had mentioned when making my reservation that it was our anniversary, and they gave us at the best seat in the house, our dinner was perfect, and we enjoyed the jazz trio immensely. Then, icing on the cake, after we were thoroughly stuffed with dinner-for an app we shared delicious oysters, for main course we both had the Filets, (she the 8 oz, me the 10 oz), sides of truffle whipped potatoes and another of creamed spinach-they brought us a dessert plate which said, in chocolate script, "Happy Anniversary". It was sweet, literally and figuratively! We'll return soon!

   As noted in my rating, the food and service were excellent. The appetizers, steaks, salads, etc... all very good. I was disappointed that the place was emply on a Thursday night. We were the only table filled at 7:00 PM and remained the only table filled until close to 8:30 PM. The piano player was excellent, the place had potential, but it a bit boring when the place is empty during prime time...

    It's like dining in a sophistocated NYC restaurant. Low lighting, extensive view of the ocean, rare even at the Shore, gourmet menu choices, fine, unintrusive service. There is live, soothing piano music on certain nights. Generally a very young NYC crowd, but fine for more mature diners, too. Also a hip club in the same hotel, should you desire . And a relaxing, atmospheric lounge area.
