   This was the worst experience and service we have had. We sat for an hour without food despite giving our order. We ordered champagne and flutes were brought but not the bottle. One of the young men tried to take the flutes away. We complained to who we thought was a manager about lack of service and she said she would expedite. She refused and avoided us the rest of the evening. Never asked us as she passed our table if we were ok if there was anything she could do. The customer service was horrible. For the price food was only so so. Not overwhelming or spectacular. We belong to a number of wineries and attend wine and food pairings that just wow you. This was not even acceptable. Only the dessert was great. Nothing was said as we were charged for the champagne to ask if things were ok. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. We used to come every year for the Xmas buffet. This was a real disappointment and nothing was done to resolve it. The length of time left sitting was deplorable.

   We did the fixed price Christmas Day dinner at Sante. It was a wonderful meal with several courses. Most of the sides were delicious, no complaints as there was plenty of food so if one of us didn't care for something chances were good someone else liked it! The mashed potatoes were amazing! The atmosphere was festive and a good time had by all!

   Melissa was such a great server, especially on Christmas Eve! My family and I had a rough start to the day (delayed travel), but we ended on a lovely note by dining at Santé.

   Highlight of our evening was the service. While the menu and meal were impeccable, the quiet sophistication of the dining room and the perfect attention and knowledge of our waiter made the experience the best we've had in Sonoma.

   Best ever! The chalet was so cozy and romantic. They were beautifully decorated and the service was on spot go with your loved ones or gather your girlfriends... such a cool experience!!

   This was a cozy and romantic outdoor dining experience. We went on a Tuesday night which made for a quiet, seemingly private experience. There were some guests who curiously looked and one couple stopped to ask about the food. The ski chalets are decorated super cute and can fit many people at the one table. It was adorned with furry blankets both to sit on and to throw over you along with cushy pillows. There was also a tall standing heater and a fire pit so it’s definitely warm enough. Our servers were very attentive and both food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The holidays cocktails were well balanced. We also chose the cheese fondue which came loaded with a plate of vegetables to dip. My favorite was the broccoli and potato. We also splurged and got the chocolate fondue for dessert. Again, very flavorful but less fruit than the vegetable plate. Both were priced at $35 each. Drinks were in the $20-$27 range which is steep but normal for a Fairmont. The grounds are lit up for Christmas with music playing as well. It was a very pleasurable Happy Hour experience and we’d definitely go back for this or the dinner experience. One thing to know is to check the restaurant days/hours in advance. You’ll need to know to check in at the bar if you go on a day the restaurant is closed.

   What a lovely, elegant restaurant with a well-prepared variety of dishes. Excellent service by professional but fun staff with a sense of humor. It made a special dinner all the more fun. My friend had the duck breast, perfectly cooked; I had the Mt Lassen trout also perfectly prepared and seved with mini potatoes and vegetables. The espresso Gelato was a little bland but the espresso martini rocked! The bar is also a lot of fun with great staff. Mussels were very good and so were the plentiful fries. I recommend spending an evening in both places!

   Not worth the money. Service was terrible and food was mediocre at best. The Swiss Chalets feel very “zoo-like” with hotel guests and others walking up and down the path staring at you while you eat. It’s also extremely cold - we knew the chalets would be outdoors, but when it’s 60 degrees out, you assume there’d be some method of heating. Instead it was a single heater at the entrance of the “chalet” that did virtually nothing. Not a fun experience and certainly not close to worth the $400+ it cost.

    We had so much fun. The buffet was laid out in the beautiful lobby with a fireplace. The food was great, anything we would want for a Thanksgiving meal. The staff was accommodating and professional. Our server very personable and I really liked the guy at turkey station, he was sweet and good at his job. I would recommend Sante for any special occation.
