We had lunch, so hopefully the dinners are better than Good.
It was TERRIBLE, is not a restaurant is a”POOL BAR”
How can they listed as a restaurant, it’s a BIG JOKE
The food is as fantastic!! And the service and people were so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was super cute too!
Food was delicious!
Top notch service and food in a beautiful setting.
My husband’s lamb entree was almost burnt and should not have been served. My cod was very good. We both had the excellent prawn entry but the grilled bread was burnt too. The wine list is excellent.
Excellent food next to the pool. Service was quick and friendly.
Went for special occasion meal. Food was good to ok. Steak was underseasoned and not medium rare, more like medium. Ate outside due to covid concerns. Unfortunately other diners were in swim attire so saw more than we wanted to. Service ok, but also informal. Slipped since the last time we ate there. Dessert was excellent however. (Chocolate hazelnut tarte with creme fraiche)
It was a belated wedding dinner & noted a special occasion. Mentioned it to the waitress & NOTHING was said later-nothing special, so why ask???? Food was overpriced for what what we received. Bummed & disappointed.
Wonderful experience. Tasty food ::))
Solid performance outside near the pools. Great service. Simple menu with some lovely surprises, the beet and Buffalo cheese app was So Epic. Star of the show with the res fingerling fries potato's and well the burger. Best burger I've had in 10 years.
Very loud. Good was good. Nice people
We had a great dinner and there was a guitar player at the pool as well.
We were staying at the Fairmont resort so it was very convenient to have such a wonderful restaurant on the premises. We were seated at the round table by the window which offered a nice view and a bit of privacy. The outdoor seating seemed popular but the indoor setting was well suited for an elegant dinner. The service was friendly and efficient and the quality of food was very good. I especially enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts and the black cod entree and the delicious hazelnuts on the chocolate torte. However the zucchini salad was bland and lacking in texture and Mary’s chicken entree a bit overcooked.
Sante has a private dining room where you can have dinner serve for up to 12 people. It also offers a great breakfast menu. I highly recommend enjoying a meal here, followed by a nice stroll through the pretty grounds of the resort.
Make note, we did sit outside so with the close proximity to the pool you are going to get noise. That’s just the way it is. The other noise came from a group of diners themselves. This is something I see far too often in today’s society, don’t respect the people around you just let it be all about you!
The food was delicious and our server was excellent. A really lovely meal in a beautiful setting!!
We were visiting family in Davis, CA since we’ve all been vaccinated, after the pandemic precluded all travel for over a year. The dinner was a special occasion in that we wanted to have a nice classy dinner on our last nite together before returning home to NY. Our dining experience was spectacular and worth every penny.
Lovely waiter with amazing ambiance!
Food was excellent!
Poolside dining. Attentive service. Excellent food options and flavors. Great presentation for all dishes and drinks.
We came for Mother’s Day and were staying at the resort.
The food was ok, kinda blah. The portions were small, the food was ok, the price was unreasonable. My wife had a filet that cost as much as a real steak would, but what she got was a few thin slices of beef. I got a special duck item, it was ok, just basically a small thigh portion on rice with a tangy sauce. Better then the steak, but not a lot.
My wife ended up getting sick from the beef, so that wasn’t great.
Food and service were superb. We sat near the pool - weather was perfect to be outdoors. The menu was not huge, but there were some delicious entrees and small dishes. It's the best food and service and food we have ever had the Sonoma Mission Inn!
Amazing food and service! Cod and gnocchi unbelievably good! We are booking again tonight!
Delicious food, skilled and friendly staff.
Birthday . Great experience outdoors
I enjoyed the food and the service, would come back again
The restaurant used to be fine dining. The menu and quality of the food have drastically diminished, as has the furnishings. The service was a bit awkward with the server too present. At one time he placed wine glasses down for our wine, only to remove them for room on the table...? The sommelier decanted the wine, but later ran off a in a huff, refusing to pour when our guests and us were deferring to the other for the final pour. The floor was dirty, the table was unimpressively set, and the furniture was tired and beaten down. I recommend another dining experience.
Food is amazing!!! A bit pricey but totally worth it! Nice outdoor ambience.
From beginning to end we were in the best of hands from Pierre on the front drive, Jason at the bar, McKayla greeting us, Jonathan with his attentive and gracious service and of course the outstanding Maitre D Brian. You can tell there is an extremely talented culinary team with great attention to detail in their kitchen. Food and service are top notch as expected at this Wine Country gem. During these uncertain times we felt safe, pampered and relaxed from the moment we stepped onto the property. Thank you all for an incredible experience!
Love the sonoma mission inn. Restaurant and stay never disappoint. So happy to see it more full and that indoor dining is now an option as well.
The service was ok. Felt a bit neglected by our server compared to other tables. The food was good. The portion of their dessert was huge.
We had a delicious, romantic dinner in a serene setting.
A disappointing return to what was once a fine dining experience. While the menu has down scaled unfortunately the service and food quality has also diminished.
Unfortunately not worth a return visit.
A beautiful night outdoors on the patio! Service excellent and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly! So tender you could cut it with a butter knife. Also highly recommend the roasted Brussel
Sprouts as a starter! The entire dinner was fab!
Great food and loved our waiter. The wine was excellent too.
We had a three night stay at the Sonoma Fairmont. Accommodations, grounds, and ambience was exceptional.
The service was excellent. The food was fresh, creative, and flavorful. The menu was seasonal. Our server made the experience enjoyable. She engaged with my children in a genuine, inviting way.
My interactions with the waiter and hostess were enjoyable and contributed to the overall experience.
Great meal and great service! I loved the scallops!
Great salads and entrees. Nice patio with heating and good wine selection.
