Dining at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn
Food was great. Good selection of wine/beer/cocktails. Not much variety for dinner. Only one fish and no chicken option. Outdoor music and food truck on Fridays and Saturdays.
Gnocchis were delicious
We sat adjacent to the pool, on the veranda. It was a beautiful fall day, the leaves were all turning gold and red. We took a picture of the food and drinks, all great!
Loved everything we ordered. Brussel sprouts, venison carpaccio, duck and the filet. We cleaned our plates and made reservations to come back. We are outside with all the fire pits, it was lovely. The manager suggested some really tasty wines that we enjoyed to the last drop
Fabulous service, fabulous food!!
Chef’s selections of sides were out of this world! Server Jonathon was informative, engaging and made the evening.
It was very nice to finally receive a dining experience that one use to get from restaurants in Sonoma County! The staff and food was Exceptional! If your looking for fine dining look no further, well done Sante!
Very, very pricey cocktails but delicious meal!
The food was wonderful. I highly recommend the gnocchi dish. Our server, Jonathan was attentive and very helpful. We sat outside and requested a seat by the heaters, although we ended up turning it off because it was nice and warm. The only noise came from inside where I think some guests were watching football.
Beautiful setting and incredible food. Will go again
All of our food was excellent from the gnocchi to the filet. They have a great selection wine selection and tasty cocktails. It is a pretty quiet place and we felt a bit loud compared to the other tables although we were just normal laughing/chatting and celebrating our friend’s 50th. One couple moved away from us 😬. I would order the gnocchi again for sure! Caprese salad was fresh and delicious.
Everything was excellent. One area of improvement would be better washing of scallops. A few of has had the scallops but one order was a little sandy.
food was fantastic; service was over the top; our server Forrest was absolutely delightful...highly recommend...
Food was good, but the menu was limited and underwhelming. Was hoping for a more "special" dining experience
We are repeat diners here. We appreciate the comfortable outdoor seating...plenty of heaters. The cocktails were perfectly mixed, food delicious and efficient, friendly service. This restaurant adds to the already pleasant stays at SMI.
EXCELLENT NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH MENU! CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE, THE SERVICE OR THE FOOD! LOVED IT!
It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we thought maybe we would receive a glass of complimentary champagne or a free dessert to celebrate but sadly nothing was offered other than to tell us happy anniversary.
We went here to celebrate our engagement. The food at this place was truly stunning. The portion sizes were not overwhelming, while the flavors and presentation were a treat. Our server not only recommended some amazing drinks, but also took good care of us and made excellent recommendations for the dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I rate the ambience four out of five stars because the restaurant itself was nicely appointed, but not otherwise particularly memorable. Still, I'd love to back some day and highly recommend it for a celebration.
Service was very good we sat outside which was ok. The patio is right next to the pool so there is a lot of foot traffic. Lunch was ok nothing special with a very limited menu.
Decor, ambience, service were pleasant enough. The food was meh at best. My salmon sashimi was drenched in sauce and hence too salty and could t taste the salmon much, and the scallops were perfectly cooked however weren’t prepped properly and had grit(sand?). It was nice to see people out and enjoying themselves again though.
Forrest, our server, was excellent. He was attentive but not hovering.. The menu had ample selections and the food was delicious. The portions left you satisfied without feeling overly full. Very good wine list. I would highly recommend Santè.
There is nothing to compare to their wonderful 'Neighborhood Lunch" menu.
You can choose two course for two people for $59.00 or three courses for two people for $69.00. It includes a glass of wine. The menu is varied; in fact, it is hard to choose, the portions are generous and the service was outstanding. My go to for lunch!!!!!!
A beautiful and serene location for dinner. It's just that the menu items were not our favorites so we ended up just having iced tea and going someplace else.
Really lovely poolside dining! The food and staff was great!
El lugar está bonito, la comida bien. Un poco caro para lo que es.
Everything was wonderful - except for the pesky flies that kept landing on our table.
The service was great. The problem was the food. ALL of my food came out burnt and at room temperature. It was awful. The filet mignon was way overdone and the gnocchi was BURNED. Also who over cooks scallops!!? Come on Fairmont you can do bette than this. Ruined my anniversary
Excellent dinner outside near the pool , but far enough away from the last swimming guests. Food was excellent and reasonably priced . Extensive wine list that has a good mix of California, and international wines . Inside is a nice formal dining experience but I preferred the nice patio .
Overall, excellent. Beautiful resort, wonderful, relaxed vibe. Service was outstanding, appetizers and main courses were inspired. Dessert (strawberry shortcake) was a bit too sweet for my taste, I think the addition of white chocolate on an already sweet dish was a mistake. We particularly loved the dog friendly atmosphere. One negative, we sat outside and the chairs were spectacularly uncomfortable. We got towels from the pool to support our backs, which made it tolerable.
Plus minus experience. Difficulty finding the restaurant as Open Table calls this restaurant Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn but the name of the restaurant is “Sente.” Service was a little slow and my second alcoholic average was forgotten. It felt like there were not enough waiters. One dessert comped. Good food.
Please do yourself a favor and stop at the bar first. Holly is amazing bartender that can brighten. Your experience by her personality alone but she’s the best drink maker I know. I hope I got her name right she deserves credit. She took excellent care of my date and I. We went to dinner right next door and she checked us in. We sat down at a cute corner table and enjoyed barratta with peaches on sour dough slices and the filet and duck both ordered was delicious. I only wish there were green veggies on the duck along with the corn and mushrooms but that’s me being greedy. Had strawberry shortcake which was so delicious. The portions were perfect and staff was so accommodating and high level service team that really adds to the experience. Go here I recommend it! ##nom#nom#
Crispy Brussels sprouts were soft, lamb was overcooked, but wine selection was nice and service was great.
We had an absolutely delicious meal at Sante. The burrata appetizer was memorable. I ate every bit of my gnocchi. And the creme caramel for dessert was masterful.
We were inside. The tables outside looked much nicer. Either way, food was so so and not really up to par with the prices or the area. Our server was great however!
Great service! The waiter was very accommodating to our toddler. The scallops were a bit salty but otherwise tasty. The duck was tender and the wild rice that came with it was quite amazing. Overall ambiance nice and relaxing. Would come back.
Dining at Sante was very enjoyable. Food was delicious and ambiance was nice sitting on the patio.
Meh. Nice spot but average poolside food and clueless service.
We were looking forward to having a Sunday brunch outside at a lovely old hotel. What we ended up with was a poolside lunch in the pool cafe listening to children having a blast in the pool while screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs, as children are known to do. The food was good and the service was excellent but the setting was not acceptable.
Loved the Portuguese food. Extremely well flavored.
My husband John (Jack) and I enjoy cooking. Both of us thought your dishes wonderful. French toast so tasty, different consistency for me, I liked it. Veggies colorful as were a few flowers I consumed.
Cod for dinner perfect, with and without skin. Your chefs are very good.
