Wow, what a bad Valentine's Day dinner. I came here tonight and it was so bad. I had no idea it was going to be a prix fixe menu and it was $65. First course was a oyster with a champagne toast (AKA a shot glass of champagne). Next up was a runny cold cup of lobster bisque - I have never had such a thin coup of soup. I asked for something different and they brought me clam chowder but it apparently it was jalapeno clam chowder, which I couldn't eat because it was too spicy. Next up, frise salad which was wilted and dry. Dinner was a beef tenderloin and it was so bad. It was obviously cooked earlier in the day and then half assed microwaved because it came out so cold and super rare. I could not even eat one bite! My mom had a salmon dish and that was okay, so we ended up splitting that. The service was good so that is why I gave one star. I think they thought they would be very busy so they prepped everything early in the day but that was a bad idea. I would have rather had the food take longer and be hot, then what we got. They adjusted the bill and we left pretty hungry. Had to go somewhere else for more food. Oh, and the table next to us also had a horrible meal - she told me there was a fly in her salad and their food was super cold too. I appreciate the thought with the candy boxes they dropped off at all the tables but please just prepare fresh food!
