Situated close to Fenway Park, Dillon’s has always been the gathering spot for both before and after Fenway. Located steps away from Hynes Convention Center and the Prudential Center, Dillons is the perfect spot for a post conference night cap or mid day lunch break.
The All-American menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, two bars, multiple function spaces and the best patio in the area Dillon’s has remained a Back Bay favorite. From a quiet intimate dinner for two, a lively weekend brunch with friends, or even a large corporate function, Dillon’s is the Back Bay restaurant to accommodate all of your needs.
I would not recommend the brunch. They advertise jazz brunch throughout November, the jazz was mediocre and our food came out cold. Our bill came to about $53 for eggs Benedict, breakfast quesadilla, and two mimosas. Slightly pricey, which is expected in the city, but pricey should ensure hot food.
We had lettuce wraps and burgers. Both were very good. The meat was cooked to our specifications (medium rare). The french fries were excellent as was the gin and tonic.
We explained we had tickets, so our service was quick and efficient. We got good value for our money in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
energetic but great service. one of the options for casual conversation.
Had a great time!!!
Went to watch football game...
Perfect if you’re an Alabama fan!!! RTR
Made you feel like a local!!!
Really loud and over-served Patriots fans in the lower bar area. Excessive swearing and loud clapping were unnecessary and should have been better handled.
We have passed by Dillons for years without visiting. We are so happy to say we finally enjoyed a lovely meal there on a Saturday night. We sat outside, which was lovely! It is a casual restaurant with a limited menu, but everyone enjoyed their selections. I had an outstanding Lobster roll, served with chowder and fries. It was really good. We will definitely go there again.
Fries were exceptional, prices were as expected for the area. The drink (Tully Mule) was a little weak.
Nice location but service was bad
Great location for games and events at Fenway. Really good food at very reasonable prices for the area. I definitely plan on going back!
Great experience. Just what we needed on a rainy evening with some good comfort food. Great bar and amazing service. Will definitely come back again.
I wish I had done more research before taking a chance on this place. The bar stinks like a strong chemical cleanser or urinal disinfectant. Our food took 3X as long as the guy who came in much later than we did. Eggs Benedict was disgusting: they use a packaged Hollandaise mix that tastes like rancid butter and dishwater. THE “poached” eggs were overdone and suspicious. Sent it back and changed to a western omelet that was pale white, overcooked and they used American cheese instead of the cheddar I had asked for. The restroom is a post-apocalyptic nightmare. AVOID THIS PLACE
Pre concert at Fenway
Food was just OK. Nachos were a bunch of tortilla chips with cheese whiz poured on top with black beans and roasted corn was a nice touch, but could melt some really cheese on it. My southwestern salad was way over dressed, should have got the dressing on the side. The mac and cheese was creamy and a large portion. My son got his with pulled pork and it was good. Clam chowder and fish sandwich were both good. The quality of the food was ok, but not for the price.
The servers and even the host was awkward. We asked for a table that was not directly in the sun and they made a big deal about us wanting to move when there clearly was more tables. Did not check in on us if our food was good. After the server brought the food they came again to bring a check, and when i looked over our server was by the bar talking to the bartender.
Let the restaurant know that my friends and I were attending for the Kettle 1 Botanical Brunch. It was not exciting or difference, unfortunately. Nothing special was done as I had asked the restaurant ahead of time for candles. Out server was amazing, liked her a lot! The ambiance is not bad though; nice patio.
Great Sunday brunch! Friendly servers and great area. Could dine inside or out... very accommodating.
We weren’t all completely satisfied with our meals but service was very good so we’d give them another try :)
Family fun lunch was great.
This is a good place to drink with friends - but not eat if expecting a "good" meal beyond bar food. We learned that on a recent trip. The Lobster roll was so bland and tasteless it had to be returned for another item. Perhaps it was one bad experience. Other items - salads and boneless chicken wings were OK.
The omelettes were average and a bit small, but the home fries were superb! Tasty and crispy. Fantastic service. Our waitress was sweet & efficient, and we ate by the beautiful windows looking onto the Boston street.
I took my son and his friend to lunch. We sat outside on their beautiful patio. We were greeted right away by a cheerful wait person and our drinks and food arrived exactly as ordered and fast. Great service and great food. A nice place to eat when you’re in the city near the Prudential or Berklee.
Very good food in a casual atmosphere! We were able to eat on the deck which certainly added to the experience. First time there, but it won't be the last.
Great cocktails and we enjoyed the food. The servers were attentive and helpful. We waited a while for entrees, but they were good once they arrived.
Good food and ambiance.
Hamburger and wings were good! Chicken sandwich was a bit underwhelming. Waitress had a disinterested attitude.
Good for a quick bite. Lobster roll was good.
Not a bad spot, but the portion size was comical / almost insulting. This ain’t some hip joint in Manhattan. My chicken sandwich could be considered an hors d’oeuvre. I complained to the waitress but got an OK. Bar could of been a bit quicker too. Staff was friendly enough tho...
A solid choice for drinks or a bite. Food is a step above regular bar fare in the city with some more unique flavors and offerings. Burgers are the best thing on the menu by far! Good option on Boylston to have a fun crowd without being a scene or expensive. Casual.
Great patio. Food was fine. If you're just looking for a sandwich place, the food is great for that
Go if you want a pub experience, not what I was expecting.
Daughter had undercooked chicken.
Great clam chowder and fish tacos!
The place is dirty, the tables are not properly clean, the waitresses look tired and they don't seem to care. The bathrooms were the worst experience ever. Dirty, no toilette paper, the doors don't shut...etc
Great burger and Caesar Salad. Great for a quick bite. Good value. Would go there again.
More gluten free options would be nice (and labeled on the menu)
Great food for an amazing price. Service was amazing and the vibe was perfect for all occasions.
There was a small staff and a growing crowd when we arrived. The food was excellent and it came out promptly. The impressive part was that the manager and the hostess both waited and bused tables when they were not tied up. All of the staff was on the move and they waited to our every desire. Thanks to Dillon's!
Pretty basic brunch but quite tasty and good selection of beers for hubby. Was pretty quiet when we went there on a lunchtime Sunday.
The breakfast was hot and delicious. Great value! Looking forward to trying another meal there, maybe in outside seating in the summertime.
I would have given ambiance 5 stars if we hadn’t had to listen to staff gripe in loud voices about coworkers.
I booked a table early in day and upon arrival we were seated at a high top in the bar which was uncomfortable and very cold and noisy. Service was great. Food good.
