Great food for an amazing price. Service was amazing and the vibe was perfect for all occasions.
There was a small staff and a growing crowd when we arrived. The food was excellent and it came out promptly. The impressive part was that the manager and the hostess both waited and bused tables when they were not tied up. All of the staff was on the move and they waited to our every desire. Thanks to Dillon's!
Pretty basic brunch but quite tasty and good selection of beers for hubby. Was pretty quiet when we went there on a lunchtime Sunday.
The breakfast was hot and delicious. Great value! Looking forward to trying another meal there, maybe in outside seating in the summertime.
I would have given ambiance 5 stars if we hadn’t had to listen to staff gripe in loud voices about coworkers.
I booked a table early in day and upon arrival we were seated at a high top in the bar which was uncomfortable and very cold and noisy. Service was great. Food good.
Loved the chowder, burgers and fish ‘n chips! Great ambiance in a historic building with a fantastic wait staff.
Didn’t realize it is a University of Alabama bar, so keep that in mind if you’re getting together with friends for a college game. Lots of Roll Tide! going on here.
Good food with nice menu options. Quick, friendly service
We were in Boston for a business conference and wanted to watch the Alabama v. Tennessee game in a fun environment. We discovered Dillion's would be a great place to watch the game with fans and UA alumni. It did not disappoint!
Great, comfortable place for a casual dinner and drinks!
Great food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, definitely recommend it!
Opened 5 minutes late, "specialty" drink not special...3 blueberries in ny prosecco. French toast just okay. Lobster roll wonderful.
Great food, greater service! Will definitely go again!
Our usual place to eat before a Red Sox game
Great stop before Red Sox game and within walkable distance from park plus it helps with getting out post game
My husband was disappointed in his Lobster Mac N Cheese, which had almost no lobster in it. We also felt the service was mediocre.
Great service! Salmon, quinoa burger, and chicken caesar salad were all very good!
It took quite a while for our server to come over and ask us what we'd like for drinks. Once we placed our drink order, it was probably another 20 minutes before she came back to ask us for our food order. Once we received our food we didn't see her again for 45 minutes. We were never asked if we would like refills. The food was good overall.
Brother was in town for a wedding and wanted to go somewhere close and casual. Dillon’s fit the Bill to a T!
Clam chowder was very good. Not much taste to the lobster dishes. The lobster Mac & Cheese was too salty.
After being seated at 6pm took the waitress 20 minutes to attend to us. Food and drinks are mediocre. Would not come back
The ahi tuna salad wasn’t all that in terms of the tuna tasting fresh. However, the service was great and I found a new cider I like! I will be back and can’t wait!
Dillon's looked lively and fun when we passed by before an event at Fenway so we thought we'd give it a try. The food was fair-fish tacos sort of bland. Ordered chips and guac for an appetizer. The chips were stale but the guacamole was very good. With so many other options, this may be one to pass by unless you need a great outdoor patio area for dining.
I made a reservation over a week ahead of time. When we arrived at the restaurant we (a party of two) were sat in the back room away from the main dining room and the outdoor patio. The complete opposite of my request. NO ONE ELSE WAS SAT IN THE BACK ROOM. We were surrounding by empty tables, the men’s bathroom, and two waiters practicing their plate delivery skills like no one was there. The manager was called over because we were unhappy and he explained that this is where reservation are sat and that this was what he had. He offered no solution to our problem and seem confused when we pointed out all the issues. We were on a tight time frame or we would have left right then. We ordered quick food which was mediocre at best when it arrived and by the time we left 45 minutes after arriving we were STILL THE ONLY ONES IN THE ENTIRE ROOM. The bar was packed, the walk in customers enjoying the prime tables inside and out. What the hell is the point of a reservation if you are the ones sat in the worst location and given less than ok service by the manager?? We will never be returning to this place and will make sure to let everyone we go out with know that Dillons is not worth the money with management and policies like they have in place. We left angry and feeling like we wasted our time, money, and patience. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and the business they are running.
We were celebrating my son's graduation. The whole experience was enjoyable. It was perfect weather for outdoor dining. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The service was fine in the beginning - server was attentive. As the time went on, server disappeared for longer periods of time. My boyfriend's steak was not cooked properly - asked for medium and came out raw in the middle. He ordered a house salad with ranch dressing (instead of house vinagrette) and it came w/ ranch on the side but there was still vinagrette on the salad. At this point, he just ate it.
Best brunch prices in town. You can order a drink, app, and meal for under $30.
Good food and good service.
Good overall experience. Decent food, very good service.
My son and I ate at Dillons before the Ambassadors show at House of Blues. Truffle fries were amazing, fish tacos were OK, burger was overcooked. Service was good, price was reasonable for Boylston Street.
Overall good food
Had a nice quiet dinner before attending the holiday pops.
Loved the newly renovated back room, very nice.
Pat took care of us, very attentive and personable.
The hostess who greeted us also very pleasant.
If we didn’t have the pops we would have stayed a lot longer!
Plan on returning for sure.
Much better experience than the time we were there last summer.
Great crew! Really took care of their customers. Super upbeat!
Had a nice brunch here, so not really sure about other meals—from out of town.
This place served our purpose for a pre-concert bite and beer. Food was OK, service was very good. Menu somewhat limited but OK for our needs this visit. I'd go back, but would not strongly recommend for general dining.
Yuck. We ate here september 5. My husband likes yelp reviews better than open table. Anything less than 3.5 he willl not eat at. Yelp gave this a 3. Open table gave this a 4/5. I made him eat here. What a mistake. My husband had the clam chowder and it was thick ,looked like gravy, and had no flavor. We could not find a clam despite 4 spoon fulls. We did not eat. My husband had the mushroom pizza. It was doughy. Would be better with thin crust and crispy. I had the lobster roll with the cup of chowder. No clams in the chowder again. The lobster roll was small, not the size of a regular hot dog bun. It had no flavor. The service was terrible. We sat down, got drinks then waited to order. After 15 min we flagged waitress down and ordered. After we were done we could not find waitress again and we were about to get the hostess but after 12 min. we waved her over when she was bringing drinks to another table.
We went back to hotel and got some food.
This restaurant was cute and unique in that it used to be an old police station. We sat outdoors and then walked to the Sox game. Food was excellent with many choices of beers on tap!
Great food, great service an an easy walk to Fenway!
We've been here a few time. The Food is good. It's a great local place to go to before a game at Fenway. But it was very loud this last time we went.
The service was terrible and the food was even worse.
We went for a quick bite for lunch on a wet day so the place was a lot quieter than I saw a night or so earlier after a Red Sox game. Traditional American pub fare like wings and turkey melts.
