Dillard's Chophouse first opened its doors to the public on January 9th 2021. Since opening we strive to serve exquisite food and give excellent service. We specialize in traditional American steakhouse fare including Filets, New York Strips, Ribeye's, Porterhouses, and more. Our side dishes range from Lobster Macaroni and Cheese to Garlic Smashed Potatoes, and are portioned to be shared with others at your table. The wine list is both exceptional and unique to this town as we tend to find wines that other dining establishments haven’t yet discovered. Our cocktail menu rotates with the seasons, utilizing fresh berries and herbs to highlight our spirits.

Food was very good but not great for the price. Was kind of surprised for a steak restaurant that my medium rare steak was brown all the way through. For a high end restaurant we had to brush crumbs off the chairs and the bathroom was kind of gross despite being the first seating for brunch. Server was great and fried green tomatoes delicious!

Would not eat here again. The atmosphere is very loud and almost sport bar like. They even had TVs showing games. For the price I expected a nice steakhouse, not a loud, bright unrefined restaurant. Server was annoying, name dropping and bragging on his experiences most of which seemed to be a lie. Food was ok…risotto was way undercooked (crunchy), duck was the size of something a 4 yr old would eat. Definitely go somewhere else.

I was treating a friend to a birthday lunch. Lindsey was a fantastic server and made the meal extra special . The salmon salad was fabulous and the sangria was the best I’ve had in Tuscaloosa.

My Steak was burnt although I ordered it medium rare. I sent it back; however, it took 30 minutes to get another steak. The steak was still $60 plus side. The mashed potatoes were served cold and were bland. Not a good experience at all.

Our server was wonderful, but the service was terribly slow, although I do not believe that to be her fault. We sat down at 6 and didn’t get our drink order until 6:35. We had to send back the oyster appetizer because is was cold; shrimp app was ok. The bread was very good. Salad and sides were ok, and the steaks were very good. Would have loved the option of a 6oz filet.

We waited over 30 minutes past our reservation time. We waited forever for food and it wasn’t good. Oysters, we sent back, wedge salad had a weird dressing on it. The sides were luke warm. The waitress was very apologetic but it was just a terrible experience and we won’t be returning.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was our first time coming. Everything was amazing!! From start to finish. The steak was so tender that you could cut it with a fork. It didn’t need any steak sauce. I would recommend this place to anyone. Our waiter was amazing and the owner even walked around to make sure every table was enjoying our/their food. We will be back! Great customer service!! Thumbs up for a job very well done.

Good and service both excellent. My only issue…when you hold yourself out as a steakhouse and charge $58 and up for one steak, we shouldn’t have to tell your chef that well done means NO PINK. Once my wife’s steak was finally cooked to her satisfaction, I was finished with my steak and she was nearly full from risotto.

Not good. So sad. Went twice in the Spring and had great steaks. Tonight they were back to their old tricks by making subpar steaks. Do not order the 30 oz tomahawk. You’ll get a 22 oz bone.

I give this restaurant 5 stars because it was 5 stars all the way! Our cocktails were sensational! We had the cocktail of the night and wine with dinner both recommendations from our server May and she was 5 star ✨ service without a doubt. Our food was hot and very very good. If you're looking for a stand out experience I highly recommend Dillard's. We will definitely be back.

Our second time going here for my girlfriend birthday. Service was lovely and food came out fast. Our server was extremely nice and polite! It wasn’t busy at all but they had a gathering upstairs which they where extremely loud i could barely hear myself think. Besides the loud large gathering it was an amazing dinner for us!

Amazing food and cocktails! We sat at the bar for dinner and chatted with Jacob the bar manager, very knowledgeable in everything they serve. We had the tuna for an appetizer, steak with the herb Parmesan risotto and creamed spinach…all delicious! While there ask Jacob to make you his signature dessert cocktail! Super nice owner trying to elevate the business to the next level with great food and outstanding customer service!

We had an outstanding anniversary dinner! Sean, our server, was attentive but not overbearing. He made spot on recommendations and was a pleasure. For reference, we had fried green tomatoes, charcuterie board, duck breast, lobster Mac n cheese, and Parmesan risotto. Everything was seasoned well and nice sized portions. We will definitely be back!
