The service was great. The food was very good. I had the eggplant paramagnon which was delicious. My wife had the lasagna which was a little disappointing. The pasta was very compact with very little cheese in between the pasta with no meat. The Sause over the top of it wasn't as tasty as she remembered it to be. We haven't been there in probably a year. We will definitely go back.

After getting e mails from DiFebos about making reservations for Mothers day, I made a reservation for 2 at 2pm. When we arrived they gave us a very limited lunch menu to choose from. Nowhere in their email did it say limited lunch menu only as we had planned to order full dinners from the regular menu. Very disappointed of this deceptive practice as it was too late to go anywhere else at that point. We chose this restaurant because they are usually 5* when we have eaten there. Although the food was very good, a bad taste for this restaurant has been left in my mouth.

Excellent service. Garlic bread, crab and shrimp pasta, rosemary chicken were great. Steak a little overcooked for our guest. Loved the peanut butter pie. Cannoli only filed at two ends. Felt like they should be filled entirely. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend trying This wonderful restaurant.

Great restaurant with great ambiance and great food. The pasta dishes are served with large portions, so it can be hard to enjoy the incredible desserts - we enjoyed our “to-go” dessert later that evening and the next morning!

Very expensive. Instead of charging one price, it’s 1.00 for cranberry juice on top of the liquor etc. ending up 13.50 for one drink. Food is ok.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at DiFebo’s. Our server, Sergio, was amazing and gave us great recommendations on food and drinks. We started off with the brussel sprouts that were perfectly cooked. My husband got the special which was pasta with Alfredo sauce and shrimp, salmon and crab. He loved it! I got the chicken Parmesan, and it was the best chicken Parmesan I’ve ever had! Nice big portion sizes too! This is the place to go to if you have a taste for Italian!

Dinner, as always, was perfect! All entree’s sounded delicious; with the help of our excellent server, decision’s were made. Food is delicious. Some items like eggplant were served warm not hot. Have had that issue with lasagna as well during a prior visit. That said, I’m a New York Italian. This is the best Italian restaurant in Delaware. Food is amazing.

The overall experience was excellent because of the professionalism of the staff, the receptionist was courteous and efficient, the waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items and spent a lot of time making us feel comfortable with a bit of humor added to the experience. They also made the birthday celebration very special and memorable. The food was very delicious and the desserts were enjoyable.

We really appreciated our "Monday Madness" dinners at DiFebo's. Our beef stew was filled with fresh ingredients. Our "champagne chicken" entree was nicely presented and quite good, though the chicken seemed uncharacteristically a bit bland. Our "clams scampi" pasta-with-clams dish was excellent, with lots of clams and a wonderful citrus-white-wine sauce. Our brownies-and-ice-cream dessert drizzled with chocolate sauce was a great ending. The Monday Madness portions - though ample - are smaller than usual - but we think that's a good thing, especially considfering the excellent value of Monday's lower prices. We were greeted warmly and our reservation was immediately honored upon arrival. Service at our table (led by Sergio) was outstanding and friendly, as always. Regrettably, DiFebo's main dining room remains an extremely loud place to dine; patrons at several adjacent tables had to raise their voices merely to engage in dinner conversation, and the restaurant's hard-surface design does nothing to temper the high volume of the room. (Some fabric and sound-proofing in the high ceiling would probably be an easy and inexpensive help.) A final thought: We always enjoy DiFebo's... but the dining rooms are beginning to take on a "dusty" (almost shabby) look-and-feel. After all these years, it might be time to refresh the ambience.

Such a treat! Everything was delicious and we went all out - apps to dessert! The food was fresh - Gnudi (gnocci with ricotta instead of potato), chicken parm and cioppino were all amazing! The tiramisu is an absolute must! DiFebo's is charming. The staff was attentive but also relaxed. We really enjoyed the meal and experience. 100% recommend!
