My husband wasn’t in love with the carbonara he got last night. Not much flavor ☹️. Also, his Bloody Mary was not too tasteful. However, the garlic, cheesy bread was to die for, as was my Salmon and my sons grandmother’s ravioli. Chocolate martini and cannoli was very good too.

4 of us went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. 2 of us had the lightly breaded salmon. It was cooked to perfection and so good. 1 had the blackened swordfish and said it was delicious. 1 had the special seafood medley. He loved it. Tavern 7 layer chocolate cake was excellent and they put a sparkler in it to make it special for him. The waitress was attentive. The hostess was very welcoming. It was a perfect evening. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful dinner. Excellent and congenial service by one of the owners. Everyone loved their food from delicious appetizers, especially the peep buco ravioli, to the peanut butter chocolate pie for dessert.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to table. After another extended wait we asked a different server if he could find out about our drinks we ordered. He brought them right back and said that he made them himself instead of the bartender and they were very good. I had to ask again for the iced tea that I had ordered. Our food came and it was delicious but the noodles were wrong on one of the meals.

DiFebo's is our first choice of local restaurants. Great food and ambiance. As newcomers to the area, we have been there several times since moving here 5 months ago and picked this spot to bring our out-of-town visitors. My only disappointment was how loud it was, not any fault of the restaurant, but because we were seated next to a table of VERY loud people. We will be back...and/or order takeout for the fabulous food!

Absolutely perfect! Outstanding people, great food, and a wonderful wine too! The owners are fully involved and super people. I ate a the bar and Kathy was so nice. The lasagna was delicious and the glass of Zensa wine (a new find) was a perfect match. I’ll definitely be back, next time I’m in the area. For me they were 11 out of 10!

Lovely Birthday dinner, excellent food, attentive but not intrusive service. Beet salad - beautiful presentation and well-balanced. Ravioli delicate. Classic Caesar salad was fresh, crisp. Osso bucco falls off bone, a treat! Lemon meringue pie more a tart than a pie. Filling is closer to citron dense not-creamy custard or more familiar style. Nice, just don’t expect a “slice of pie.” Meringue well executed.

DiFebo's is an excellent Italian Restaurant and we have been there, several times for lunch and dinner. They also have wonderful weekly special offers, including an amazing 4 course meal (with wine or beer) for $23. Most recently, we were there on Monday, 3/28 for that special. It is extremely popular, but we have never felt rushed, before this visit. Our server was very pleasant, but for the first time, I noticed that the courses were being delivered, before we were finished with the one we had just been served. Our party of four was not eating slowly. When we first sat down, the server wanted to know what we wanted to drink, but we had no time to even look at the menu, to determine what we would eat and therefore the type of wine we would order. The server (a female) seemed very impatient. One member of our party also has memory issues and he was taking a little time to decide. We were told "you get red or white. That's it.!" So, we hurriedly made a decision. She brought the wine right away and then wanted to know our dinner order, which we did give her. At the dessert course, we weren't even asked if we wanted coffee or a drink. The server told us she was sorry, but she needed the table for those people, who had made reservations and were waiting. Well, we had made reservations, too, but we understood and left. It was just very unusual for this kind of service, since we have been in for that special other times and never felt rushed by the other servers.

As always. The food was exceptional, the service amazing. The surcharge placed on food was a bit disappointing. While it is understood pricing has increased, expenses for all have increased and our loyalty and patronage despite finances being tight should somehow be considered.

We keep hearing positive reviews for this restaurant but continue to be disappointed in the food. My carbonara was dry and the noodles were stuck together, as though they were not stirred enough while cooking. The meat was very fatty and I detected no egg at all—which is usually a key ingredient for that dish. Perhaps the Sunday chef if the problem, since that’s when we have dined at this restaurant. My daughter was also disappointed in her Abruzzo ravioli dish, though she liked the Caesar salad. It was the 3rd time we had tried this restaurant and were disappointed. I was considering dining there with a large group of friends who will visit us in May, but I eliminated DiFebo’s from the list of restaurants we are considering.

A friend told us about DiFebo's Restaurant & Deli. Being of Italian descent and a pretty good cook I was pleasantly surprised at the food. It was on par with the better NYC restaurants. The Oso Bucco fell off the bone and the homemade pasta truly was HOMEMADE!!! Go you will love it.
