Muy buena opoción si tienes mucha hambre y espacio en el estómago... la carne estuvo en su punto... muy buena atención por parte de los meseros... aunque el personal que te recibe deja algo que desear... (la amabilidad no es una de sus mayores cualidades)... definitivamente vale la pena. Gran relación precio calidad.

Long wait to order and then for food. Had to ask for side dishes after entrees were delivered. Captain was basically absent. Not worth the high price.

We love Dickie Brennan’s and eat here every time we are in New Orleans. We were a little disappointed by this visit though. Both of our steaks had to be sent back, and our drinks were empty for most of the meal. I assume this was just an off night.

The service was terrific, Troy was as a trip!. Every steak and prime rib ordered at our table was over cooked. We only sent one back as med-rare showed up well done. No one likes to ever send food back, I hate writing a review about a bad meal. The apps were good, the crab cake is simple lump crab in the shape of a cake and was tasty. My expectation of a Brennan prime steak house being one of the best was disappointing.

Our reservation was at opening (5:30 PM). We showed at 5:20 and were offered the bar to wait until dining room was open. We ordered wine and after several other people were called for their reservation, we went out and asked about ours (now 5:45). The lady at the counter said that she didn’t know we were done and then rifle asked whether we had closed the bar bill (for one martini and two glasses wine). Having never been here we did. It know but went and did that. The staff was aloof and then took us down to the dining room and although many tables were open, we were then seated in a dark, crowded corner right next to the ordering stations for the wait staff. Only one young man, who brought the water, explained to us that all items are ordered separately (steaks come with no sides) - and he was lovely. The waitress barely acknowledged us and my husband had to eat with the hip of wait staff off his shoulder practically the whole meal because of the staff traffic to those order stations. My uncle was facing essentially the wall and the noise was also high because of staff interaction. I recommend abandoning that table back in the right corner because I can’t imagine that being a pleasant dining experience for anyone. The steak was wonderful and perfectly cooked, but as stated previously, all sides are additional cost, which was interesting - not sure why they don’t just up the prices to include the sides and offer at least a salad or potato. Our family really wanted to go here because of trips long ago, but I would not dine here again - the food was solid but sometimes we actually are paying for the ambiance and experience, not just a steak. Very disappointing.

Worst dining experience I have ever had in New Orleans- and there is no close second. The staff made errors on every course, and disappeared for 20 minutes at a time. I had them check 4 times on the status of our entrees, which wound up taking 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive after our salads/entrees- which, by the way, were wrong as well. The manager came over to apologize, and wound up comping us one cocktail “for our troubles”- what a joke. Food was OK, but not great for the price. Would never, ever, EVER dine here again.

We dined here the week after Mardi Gras. The restaurant was busy and bustling. Our servers were helpful and attentive. Both my husband and I had to send our steaks back because they weren’t cooked the way we ordered, but our server handled it well and got us new steaks quickly. Our favorite items were the turtle soup, creamed corn, prime rib and lobster. Would recommend for a great steak dinner.

Took my wife to celebrate valentine day. Outstanding restaurant! Food was excellent, ambiance was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
