We loved the atmosphere and service was great. Instead of doming your pizzas you’re burning them. I looked at other tables and they were all the same. I watched the pizzas bake and sending them around the oven extra times is not doming. We were excited to try this place but left disappointed.
The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.
This was our second visit to Diavloa. Dinner and service was just as delicious as the first visit. Thank you for your consistency in a great meal. The only negative was a loud mouth man who felt dropping the F bomb in every comment he made 3 tables away was very disturbing, as this is a family place. We will return.
Very good food and family friendly.
We were in town to visit our son at Butler. Awesome pizza, great service, will be back!
My family visited Diavola for the first time recently. We loved it and will go back again. The dishes had complex flavors but weren't fussy, our server was friendly and helpful, and we loved the warm, sociable atmosphere. I booked our reservation on a whim and I'm glad I did. Can't wait to go back with some friends in tow.
Good food and service. Menu has great variety.
Very crowded at time of our reservation. We ordered appetizers which were good. But then ordered our pizza which was presented cold and surprisingly very black on the bottom of the pizza. We eat here fairly often and this experience was a first. Not sure if the oven was slammed and our waitress had too many tables or what caused the cold pizza. All in all we were a little disappointed.
Great pizza, great service, slightly loud.
We came in for Valentines day dinner so of course it was noisy. The food was wonderful and served quickly. We ordered baked goat cheese, the pera salad and a pizza to share (I cant remember the name of the one we chose). Everything was delicious and the service was great. The only complaint I have is that the tables for 2 are very long so I was quite distant from my wife. Other than that, a great experience!
The food was excellent, I had the veal. Jason was super helpful and even offered his glasses so I could read the menu. I've already recommended Diavola to others.
Food was amazing and I will definitely be back. Service was a bit slow. Seemed to only have 1 or 2 servers for the whole restaurant.
This is our third time at Diavola and this time we met some friends from out of town for dinner there. We love the food! Service was excellent too. Good gluten free options as well! Our friends loved it too. Definitely recommend!
Excellent pizza & salads and a very nice beer selection. Very nice atmosphere & great small bar. I have been here many times & it is always excellent. The staff is also excellent and very friendly. Their desserts are incredible!
Our first visit was amazing. The food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. We ordered off of the Devour menu, but the regular prices are reasonable as well and a great value for what you get!
The Caesar salad was disgusting, and the bread was burnt on the bruschetta. The pizzas were okay! For $70 I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, because the food wasn’t worth the value you paid!
Excellent food and friendly staff but really, really loud.
Amazing service. Appetizer of baked goat cheese so bright and vibrant. Classic Cesar salad was refreshing and well dressed. Wood fired pizza was delicious- crusty exterior with a good chew to crust... various topping options!!
Our food was awesome, and they did a wonderful job of recommending dishes that would be appropriate and fit my dad's sodium restrictions.
Very Good - Food was great. My only complaint is that they need to come up with a better entry door situation as when the door is open the temp of the restaurant drops 5 degrees. Granted it was horribly cold when we visited but we could feel the effects of the door opening and closing on the opposite side of the restaurant.
Pizza crust was bunt, and there was so much cheese it was like soup.
We've been here several times in the last year and it's turned into our favorite pizza place in town.
Everything was awesome once again! Pizza was perfectly cooked and salad delicious and the waitress was very attending and accommodating.
The reason I only gave 4 stars for the overall because we had reservations for two at 7:45. We arrived at 7:38 and they told us we would be sat closer to our reservation time. We finally got sat at 8:15. The hostess was gracious and very apologizing but it would've been nice if they offered to comp our glasses of wine or maybe buy us dessert.
The food was delicious and the ambience was relaxing and great for date night.
Best pizza place in Indy!
It was excellent. We had calamari and a great Caesar salad to start. Then we had two pizzas and enough leftover to take home.
Diavola is consistently very good.
The pizza crust is the best in the city. The crust has the perfect blend of flavors, texture and authenticity. Lentil soup is a perfect choice for a damp winter night. wait staff and kitchen great at honoring requested changes. Pear salad with chicken is a tasty treat.
Excellent staff beginning with greeting at the front door.
Our neighborhood favorite!
Visited this gem of a restaurant before our trip to the Newfields light display. It was convenient, local, food was delicious and the service was outstanding!!! Thank you to Paige? our waitress who was efficient , kind and thorough with the menu. It was our first visit to Diavloa and we were entertaining a friend from Chicago. We will return in the near future.
Everything was great! Pizza was the best I have had in Indianapolis
We came to Diavola for my daughter's birthday dinner just prior to Christmas. The food and service were both very good. I do recommend this restaurant for a casual and yummy dinner.
Live in the neighborhood, will return, and spread the word
Second time at this restaurant and we had a fantastic time
Love their pizza, salads and service! Also a very affordable wine list with good wines
Great spot in south broad ripple. Amazing pizza that takes no time to bake. Great crust flavor. Super fresh ingredients on all menu items. I’ve had most of the pizzas, several salads, almost all the appetizers, and great craft beer rotation. My favorite app is the burratta. The special weekly calzone is a monster and can be two meals so good. Any and all pizza are my faves.
Diavola was slightly underperforming last night. The place was comfortably busy but our order was slightly mixed up and one of the two desserts were never brought. They correctly did not charge us for the missing dessert. Regarding the food, it was all good except for about one hour later after the meal. Serious stomach upset...likely the lettuce was treated with preservatives, which some restaurants will do (or possibly use bagged lettuce instead of fresh). Regardless, dinner did not sit well. However, we’d be remiss if we didn’t say that the food tasted well. It did. Just now suspect of the lettuce freshness. Enjoy but beware.
Enjoyed our experience and food!
Best servers, good food, friendly and parking. Kid are welcomed, good wine choices too.
Really enjoyed our dinner there. Service was excellent and food was very good. We were a group of five and none of us had ever been there before. Would definitely recommend and we'll be going back.
Diavola has become one of our regular spots for dinner because it is consistently good. I'd skip the Calamari but the Garlic Cheese Bread is worth it. Their salads are good, especially the Chopped. and my favorite pizzas are the Diavola and Maialina.
We love Diavola and always take out-of-town friends there when we can. It has never disappointed.
