Good and service was great
This restaurant has a wonderful view of downtown Houston and is a quiet haven for a business lunch. Definitely my go to place.
Perfect location for lunch, just a couple blocks from my office, a more quite and relax atmosphere than the tunes.
Food was delicious and my special request was met!
The frid were amazing!
This was a beautiful restaurant and a wonderful meal. The restaurant is warmly lit with soft lightly and comfy banquets and tables. Beautifully decorated. And the food was phenomenal. Our servers were attentive.
Definitely a great place for a fancy dinner or date night. There were lots of couples there that night.
Great service and delicious food. Business meeting at the restaurant. Everything was spot on.
Great Restaurant! I always sit at or in the Bar...same great service with a less formal and more personal feel. The food is top notch and always perfectly prepared.
Food tasted awesome and the server was friendly. We ate the ribeye & grill chicken with 2 sides which was more than enough. The Shrimp Cocktail was so fresh, must try.
Food was overpriced and not cooked well at all. Not even close to being worth the price.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. The service here is outstanding. The bill won't shock you. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.
Diana American Grill is not worth your time or money. The food is mediocre at best. We had the rigatoni and the steak and neither were very good. Wine and food is way overpriced. The food is about the same quality as the buffet at Hobby Center. There are way too many other great restaurants near the theater that this is not worth your time.
We were a bit disappointed with our waiter. We ordered soup and a hamburger. We assumed we would get the soup first and then after the burger. However, our waiter brought them out together. The burger ended up being slightly cool by the time we got to it. Next time, I'll specify to the waiter how I'd like it served, but I shouldn't have to since soup first is not that unusual. The soup as always was delicious.
Incredible Grill House. Very fine service. Good ambience. Tremendous beef choices! It is an expensive menu but the exquisite filet mignon was perfectly succulent and flavorful. Like everything in Texas, the portions were HUGE!
Diana American Grill just keeps getting better. New items have been added to the menu, which have all been delicious. The service is always outstanding, as is the wine list.
We have a wonderful time at the hobby center for dinner before the show.
We had the most AMAZING dinner at Diana this past week.
Our server was incredible and the general manager came over to introduce himself, make sure we were pleased with all, and helped us select an INCREDIBLE bottle of wine!
Our meal was incredible , timing was excellent and service was over the top!
I can wait to return!
The entire evening was awesome!
We have eaten at the restaurant several times when we have attended our 'Hobby experience'. Previously, as Artista we would have rated the food as excellent, absolutely. We were very disappointed in the quality, esp. of the ribeye steak. (Previously, it would have been so tender we could cut with a butter knife!) the steaks were not cooked as requested (medium rare) either. Our reservation was at 6:15 pm; we arrived at 6:10 pm; we were served the appetizer at 7 pm; the show started at 7:30 pm. My granddaughter always has planned we would have dessert which we had to do at the break. (They did have it at the table when we hurried at break.) It was a very rushed meal. Very disappointed in the quality and service.
The waiter did not seem to particularly enjoy being there which took away from the experience. The most attention we received was after the general manager refilled my ice tea and he came by to ask why we had told him....you get the idea. Waiter also lost the sale of an additional cocktail as well as dessert or coffee by not being around and asking at the proper times.
Food was good, delivery was quite fast - as the general manager stated, they serve 250 people in 90 minutes on theatre nights and the kitchen has to be fired up to do so.
As always, our dining experience at Diane Grill was wonderful. We love their food, service, ambience and efficiency as we dine there prior to going into the theater.
Very busy restaurant but great service. Great menu and meals.
Bar option is great deal for quick dinners too.
This restaurant was very clean, the staff was beyond amazing and the food was delicious! You could not ask for a better place to eat. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok and the way we wanted it. The atmosphere is fun and attentive. It was a win for the entire family! A must in this town:)
We went before seeing a broadway show. 5 of us. The food was good. No complaints there. But when we go out to eat we realize we are also paying for service. The service needs lots of help here. The waiter was not the most attentive. Dishes sat on our table for quite some time. We had to wait to get more bread. My biggest complaint is that they take the liberty of adding a 20% gratuity to our bill. We could not opt to give less because they already charge it to the final bill. It was not worth my hard earned money. There are too many other fabulous places to eat in Houston and to be served!
Good food, great service, perfect location for theater night!
Stopped in for dinner., before the show. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Ordered a steak dinner. It was tender and well seasoned.
Great time at Diana before Anastasia.
This is a great restaurant, food delicious and reasonably priced, house white wine very good too! We had trout, sea bass, French dip, bison burger, chocolate cake, and shared, all yum! Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Lunch was good with family and service was attentive and profesional. My steak was just perfect and carrot cake was the best part of the meal.
We were really pleased with the overall dining experience at Diana our server Daniel was very profesional.
Lovely meal and service. Will definitely have dinner here again when we visit the Hobby Center.
I would recommend Diana American Grill to a friend because lunch and the play was a special event for my granddaughter and myself but the food was really overpriced for an appetizer, two salads and dessert. I would never recommend going there just to have lunch or dinner without the play being the main event. Maurice, our waiter, was warm, inviting and professional.
Simple and delicious lunch. Our waitress was attentive and profesional. Our trout, French dip and carrot cake was perfect.
This is my second time this week at Diana and first time for dinner, our dining experience was great same quality of service and flavorful food.
Outstanding service & very tasting food. Carrot cake a must try.
The food is just not there yet. Salads was below par and the entrees are just average.
We are new to the theater district area, we live just a couple blocks from the Hobby Center, and we decide to try the restaurant for the first time. Once upon we arrived to the restaurant everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs. Our dining and the performance experience was one of the best we had in a long time.
Overall good, but for lunch, there is one server for 10 tables at any given time, so be prepared to wait.
difficult to find better. service , food , creation .quality of dishes etc .it's difficult to describe, pre-show, just go .
Desserts are top !
Mamma Mia..!!! Was a great show..!!
First time at the restaurant we are new donors from New York. And the overall experience was 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Terrible service, cold food, stale bread, overpriced. The only redeeming factor is the convenience since it is in the same building as the Broadway shows.
