Diablo's Cantina - Luxor Las Vegas
Need more salad selection and service needs improvement.
Sat in back room away from casino noise. Enchiladas were good but other dishes just ok
We arrived at 6:30 and were told that we would be seated closer to 7, which was our reservation time.
At 7, we were asked if we minded being seated at a table “way in the back”, we didn’t so we were seated. After a few minutes our server came by and said he would be right with us. A few minutes after that he came by and tossed 2 dirty menus on the table and asked if we wanted to order drinks. When I say dirty….I mean I thought these paper menus were one time use due to COVID 19 BUT CLEARLY I had been given a used menu, as it had food finger prints on it…yuck.
At this point, I just try to get over it because it’s Friday night in Las Vegas and without reservations, if I didn’t eat here I’d probably end up at Taco Bell. So we order, the food was good and we had plenty left to take. Server was dry and didn’t seem to be interested in us, that is until the end. I felt after he saw the tip, he felt we were worth his conversation. Now he felt inclined to talk football with my husband (who was wearing the same football shirt the whole time we were there). We could have had this conversation earlier and maybe my experience wouldn’t have been so blah…. We left over 20% tip because to be honest I felt like race may have contributed to the way we were treated BUT I am trying to break that stereotype. But based on the service, the tip wasn’t deserved.
Slow service with and almost empty restaurant
Not impressed. Food and service poor
Great for dinner and drinks right before or after blue man group or carrot top shows as it’s just steps away.
It was a great experience,we arrived early and was able to seat earlier then are reservations. The food was very good, filling! I had the brisket tacos you get 3,I was able to only eat 2! They were called Vampier some thing … I also had the Spicy Mango Margarita over ice with out the spicy.. lol ended up getting it to go. Would definitely eat there again!
Everything was good beginning to end. Our server Alma was so nice and attentive. This was our first time here and can’t wait to come back again.
Horrible food and service
Service was slow but polite. Food wasn’t good but mixing every bit with beans and rice made it better.
First time at the Luxor location. The service was on point and the food was delicious especially the chips and fresh guacamole. Mexican is my husband’s favorite food and he gave it 5 stars!
Great food at the Luxor!
I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy the food and cocktails as well as the music.
Just wanted breakfast and there was no coffee because the machine has been broken for a month!!!!! Everything we requested they did not have. Please shut this restaurant down. Better yet get a new management. I felt sorry for the servers. It was not their fault.
Have eaten here twice, service has always been outstanding. Make sure to have a reservation though as they’re always busy
Food was awful. Drink had no alcohol all sugar.
I had mixed feelings about this place.
First off the service was pretty good but we did have to ask for drink refills and chip refills as they weren’t always around checking.
Next the food was “okay” tortilla chips tasted like the ones from the bag but the salsa was good. The rice was bland but after mixing salsa in it they were better. The vampire tacos were delicious and huge though. So mixed feelings for sure.
The place was smaller then expecting but it was a cute hip place that had a good vibe.
The food was amazing and the service was great!
Food was delicious; however, lukewarm when we got it. Once the server dropped off the food we never saw him again until he brought the check.
the food was really good
our waiter was really good
I just think the waiting time for a reservation can be better. We checked in about 5 minutes early and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait because they were under staffed even though we had a reservation. A little disappointing since we had other plans
Overall, the food and service was good. I wouldn't put it in the great category though. The food is very similar to a lot of the other Mexican restaurants on the strip. FYI- they don't split checks among parties.
The food was great and so were the drinks.
We enjoy Diablo’s every time we are in Vegas. Quick and yummy Mexican food with great service!
Service was slow and apathetic
I had the enchillada combo platter. I couldn't tell the difference between the beef and chicken ( absolutely zero flavor). The shrimp was edible. The service was almost nonexistent. I had trouble understanding her with a thick accent qnd mask. She was getting visibly upset that her efforts to upsell fell upon deaf ears. I had a margarita that did not taste like any version of a margarita that I have ever had ( tated like sugar water). Don't go here.
Service was very good! Street corn was delicious!
Took a long time to get seated, long after our reservation time. This was not the fault of the restaurant, though. A large group stayed longer than they anticipated and put the entire operation behind.
Great food, but pricey. But, you are in Vegas…
Very good drinks and food. Prices as expected in a casino.
Greeted with angry customers before even sitting down. Very loud, food was bland and underseasoned. Wasn't a $100 meal. Have had better at Chipotle.
Enchiladas were delicious! Don’t order the “churros” dessert. It is gross and looks NOTHING like the picture.
The table was not clean. Chips on the floor. Food was not as advertised. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We have eaten at this restaurant before but I think since Covid happened. They just didn’t have enough help. All the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and unhappy. We couldn’t get our waitress until she finally came back to give us h the check. The food wasn’t very good and their menu was so limited this time around. Our waitress forgot part of our order. We asked one of the other waiters if we could get the rest of our order. And his response was I’ll let your waitress know.
Great food and reasonable cost! Loved the decor and would dine there again! Loved the location in the middle of the pyramid!
Loud music, excellent food! The sauces and guacamole were delicious!
We enjoyed our food & the waiter was great!
Good food will go again.
This is always a stop for us and never disappoints
Servers were not polite. They ran out of salsa......at a Mexican restaurant which was odd and servings were small for the price. No kids menus.
