Diablo's Cantina - Luxor Las Vegas
We sat at the bar. The woman who was bartending gave us excellent service.
Our nachos were yummy, and the steak in the fajitas was tender and delicious.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed
The nachos were excellent. "Daiquiri" was a disgusting concoction of red sugar water. Server with accent + quiet voice + mask = can't hear/ understand her. She was aggravated with us, which made us aggravated with the whole situation. Experience was definitely not worth what we paid.
The menu is ridiculously small and the menu had more drinks than food. I used to come to Vegas just to eat at Diablos of course this was years ago before they moved to the new location. I won’t ever return Its the third time I’ve gone to the Luxor location and every time I’m disappointed with the taste of the food. Sadly one of my least favorite restaurants now.
Food was OK but very limited menu
Food and service is great
They changed locations form the strip and lost all of the awesomeness.. better to go to the close more inexpensive Mexican in Mandelay
Food was great
Food was terrible...no taste
We all loved the food and our server was good too.
The worst service we have ever received Las Vegas... coming from Luxor this restaurant should be ashamed. The food was completely over cooked, save your money and go to taco bell, this place was horrible. Saw a wedding party and just felt so horrible for them to have such horrible food and service. I will never return... and I haven't even explained what horrible service we had.
It was ok. It was very rushed. We were in and out within 40 minutes. No time to give us to order another cocktail or process our appetizer before our main meal came out. very dark.
Food did not Did not taste good. Especially for a Mexican food place. Portions were very small and food was extremely overpriced. We spent over $100 for four people to eat and I was very very disappointed
Out waitress was nice to me, but at times she seemed irritated when we asked for things. Maybe she was stretched thin.
Loved the sauces, didn’t love being nickel and dimed for every little thing.
Not as good as in the past. Wouldn’t be on my list of go to anymore
Long waits - waitstaff was friendly but the hosts were obnoxious. With COVID and social distancing the hosts did not ensure lines were distanced nor the people waiting. It was very crowded. In addition, there are people waiting next to people dining along the wall that was waist high. Your food and diners are being exposed.
I was really looking forward to this meal because I've heard good things. The food was ok and there were only a handful of places to eat at the Luxor or Mandalay place. We were seated promptly but there was no silverware or napkins. The chips and salsa were nice but still no napkin. The server was really busy and I didn't feel that we got the attention that we needed. In no way did I feel like there was ambience of any sort.
Our service was terrible. The food was ok, nothing special. After we finished eating we waited about 15 minutes for someone to come over so we could ask for a bill. Not one plate was taken from our table before we left. 😥
Food was bland compared to normal
They rushed us out although they allowed us to sit . Very weird
Great food. Great value.
The waiter was great. The food choices were not great as food we wanted was no longer on the menu. But it was okay.
Per my visit on Friday, March 6, 2020, I want to say the hostess, waiter, food server, manager were so nice, the smiles on their faces was confirmation the experience was going to be wonderful. I have worked in Customer Service for 40 years and they were all very professional and personable. The food was awesome. My girlfriend came in from California, she is temporarily disabled and the staff made sure we had enough clearance with the wheelchair. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food at a great value. Service was excellent.
Cozy dinner date before enjoying The Blue Man Group!
Barely saw the waiter. Food isn’t as good as it used to be.
Service was great! We received excellent advice about the drinks.
Food ok. The service was awful. Unfriendly staff. Maybe one server for 10 tables with others just standing around. Not good.
This restaurant was in our hotel so we grabbed lunch there. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the level of service.
I remember the old location was much better. The service wasn't very good. They didn't recognize a birthday that I had put on the reservation. The food was just so so. It was an average visit and I am not sure I would go back to this location.
We arrived at 4:50 for a 5pm reservation and were told there were no tables. I counted 10 within eyesight. So we waited and about 5:10pm, a different person checked us in to wait for the original person to seat us. The food was great! But $100 for 2 people is a bit overpriced. It was kind of dark, but pretty quiet considering the location. When it came time to pay the bill, the server’s machine wouldn’t work. They searched for a manager and “couldn’t find a manager”. This place might be 1000 sqft and a manager can’t be located? We just paid cash and left. Like I said, good was great but a little overpriced. Service? Nope
Great service. Bright and colorful. Very reasonably priced.
Vacation with family
The restaurant was loud, which was a to be expected. the service was okay, our server was nice enough, but she wasn’t particularly attentive, and our appetizer came out with our dinner. The runner who brought the food out to us apologized for that, as he seemed to recognize that wasn’t right, but the server never bothered. Also, they use table side check out, so the server holds the telzon while you’re paying and deciding what percentage to tip, which I feel is less than appropriate.
Food was cold, had terrible service. Had to walk up to the bar for drink refills. They brought out the wrong food at first. Poor staff training and care for customer service. Saw a few other tables complaining as well and talking about the poor service. I won’t be returning.
Was regular when located at Monte Carlo, but new location has reduced portions, cold food and under trained staff.
Request fresh jalapeños and got pickled, so they minced bell pepper assuming a tourist would know - although I’m a local and grow/process peppers.
Delivered cheese dip, but no chips. By then, I he cheese was firm and cold.
Meat was fatty and tough.
Server didn’t smile or care when expressed concerns.
Don’t expect them to remain open much longer with many better Mexican choices.
Was never greeted by our Waiter, someone else helping him took our order. Did not even see our waiter until after our food arrived. Asked for hot sauce and was finished with the meal by the time it showed up. Food was good but overpriced which is what you would expect dining on the strip. Will not be returning.
The food here was impressive - A simple, small venue inside Luxor - Actually front-and-center above the casino at Luxor! Service was good, food was great, but the restaurant is open to all of the noise, perfumes and ambience of the rest of Luxor so that would be my only improvement advice - This would be much cooler as more of a stand-alone eatery vs. an integrated attraction.
Diablos is always a solid choice for good food and spirits.
